Nollywood Actor Yomi Fash Lanso revealed what his Dad did when a Pastor told him to sow his car key as a seed. Read his story below... When I was a kid, my dad bought a new car and drove us to church one Sunday. It was a prophetic service and our pastor was being used by God that day to deliver people from poverty. Suddenly, our pastor looked at my dad and said, "Mr. Alamu, God is set to bless you" my mum jumped up and shouted excitedly, "Amen!!!" My dad was excited too. The pastor then came closer, placed his hand on my dad's head and prayed for him. As our pastor turned to climb the altar, the spirit of God told him something. He stopped, looked at my dad and said, "Mr. Alamu did you buy a new car last week?" "Yes sir" my dad responded with much surprise on his face. Then our pastor said; God said I should tell you to sow your CAR KEY into my life" I was shocked that my dad did not argue with the pastor, he just put his hand in his pocket, brought out the car key and gave it to our pastor. Chai... Aiyeeee ooooo...Mogbe After about 5 minutes, my dad stood up, went outside the church, he didn't even wait till the end of the service. I could see him entering Okada going home. "He must be very worried" I reasoned in utter fear and confusion. After a while he returned to church with the SPARE KEY of his car and drove the car back to the house. I was so stunned at what I was seeing. So when I asked him why he acted that way he said: "Oluwayomi" always use your brain, the pastor asked for the KEY and NOT the CAR"! Thanking you so much my BABA for impacting knowledge. So what can you say your own BABA TAUGHT YOU ![]() http://www.looknaija.com/2017/06/yomi-fash-lanso-reveals-dad-told-sow-car-key-seed/ lalasticlala

It's inspiring how women can be going through the toughest struggle yet act strong like everything is perfect. Adaeze Igwe-Yobo has shared the story of her struggles as a new mother and it is unbelievable the things she's had to go through. The former beauty queen and wife of former Nigerian professional footballer, Joseph Yobo, revealed that she suffered difficulties ranging from insufficient breast milk, Postnatal Depression, lethargy, and the pain resulting from Cesarean Section. She shared a photo of her grinning second son and a tray containing tea and drugs that help mothers produce breast milk. In the caption, she disclosed that while some women have it easy producing breast milk, it was hard for her. She said her youngest child, who is less than 3 months old, is the only child she has breastfed for this long. With her first son, she had to take a lot of liquid foods, yet could not produce enough breast milk for him. The food made her add weight, the stress to produce enough food for her son made her lethargic, still in all of this, not enough milk was coming and it only compounded her C-section pain. It was so bad that she and her first son cried at some point. She only breastfed him for 3 weeks. With her second son, it was the same and she had to supplement with formula. It's been easier with her daughter though she still has to take Pregnacare to aid milk production. Below is how she told her story. Baby no 3 is the only baby i breastfed for this long. Some have it easy and others like me drank 2large bowls of custard, took nursing tea n all and still had only 1-2oz of breastmilk, gained tons of weight and had no energy most of the time, so I gave up early cos the baby and i Cldnt deal with the stress. With my ist son, we both cried cos i was in C-sec pain, had bad PND and baby wasnt getting enough milk. to think i actually planned to breastfeed for 2years, and only did it for 3wks 2nd one I swore I wldnt even breastfeed cos of my last experience but once I had him, he latched unto the boobies like a pro so I gave in but the milk was still low at 5weeks, so i had to supplement with formula which was a bad idea cos he fell in love with the milk flow and rejected bosom. However, with "ma piinches" (My princess) *in jaydens voice* it's been pure bliss, no PND, I'm always full of energy even though I don't get as much sleep at night. Anyway, i dont know how long I want to breastfeed for, I'll just go with the flow for now cos I like the way she looks into my eyes while nursing #momlife #11weekspostpartum #breastfeedingrant#mothersareamazing #morningrant have a great day lovers http://looknaija.com/2017/05/adaeze-yobo-opens-motherhood-struggles/ lalasticlala

Nigerian gay right activist, Bisi Alimi, has stated that there is no obligation binding one to take care of their parents at old age. According to Alimi, you have nothing to do with your parents when they are old except you are still living with them. He told Nigerians that they did not beg their parents to have sex which led to procreation and as such, they should become their pension scheme. The controversial gay activist had earlier declared that he do not believe in God. In a post on his Facebook page, he said, “The idea that it is the responsibility of the struggling young to take care of the struggling old is a myth sold to you by the corrupt politicians who have stolen the resources of your commonwealth. “Nigerians, doomed financial vicious circle is when your parents brought you up so you can be their cow to milk, while you look forward to doing same to your children. “I understand that the system is bleeped, pension money is being embezzled by stupid greedy politicians, the same ones you worship and bow to, and there is no guarantee for old age, but Bleep, the system won’t fix itself. If you don’t resist, you will be consumed. “The idea that it is the responsibility of the struggling young to take care of the struggling old is a myth sold to you by the corrupt politicians who have stolen the resources of your commonwealth. “Remember, one rich man among 100 poor men will eventually end up being poor. “You only have two commitments in life; yourself and your children and that’s until they are old enough to be kicked out of the house. “You do not, I repeat, you do not owe your parents any pay back unless you are still living with them, which means get the Bleep out or start paying rent and bills. “Remember, you didn’t beg them to have sex, they wanted to have children, it’s their choice, you should not be their old age pension scheme. “Only do it if you can and have the resources to, but even with that, know the limit or they will emotionally blackmail you and milk you dry.” http://looknaija.com/2017/05/taking-care-old-parents-not-force-bisi-alimi/ lalasticlala

Actress, Toyin Abraham is ready to go into a relationship again, but this time the delectable actress has set a goal. In a new interview with Punch, she listed some of the qualities she is looking out for which of course includes physical attributes and also a social standing. She also spoke about her career and weight loss. See the excerpts: On the man she wants: “I want a man who is tall, hardworking, and loves his job. I would want to be with a man who does not chase women and would not constantly request for money from me. If he needs my help, I can do it. I don’t want to be with a short man. My man has to be taller than I am.” On weight loss: “Why would I change my look because of any man when I have my job, my career, and people who look up to me? I love my new look because it has helped my career a lot. Now I get more roles even in the English speaking industry and most of the movies are in the cinemas. Also my clothes fit me well. My stylist does not have to go extra mile to make my clothes.” On why she changed her surname from Aimakhu to Abraham: “Abraham is my father’s name and it was a family decision. I cannot be talking about my family online, it is my life. My brother who is also a famous dancer bears the name, David Abraham. That shows that it is my father’s name. At first I thought about my brand before changing the name but eventually, I had to change it. I did not want to change it but my business manager asked me to do so. I know the decision confused some of my fans but with time, they would get used to it. I am Toyin Abraham now and I am building a new brand.” On dealing with controversies: “I feel it is normal and comes with the territory of being an actress. Based on the fact that I am an actress, people will always tag me with something. It hurts when they say I was in a relationship with someone I never dated or when they write about things that I did not do and just put it out there. Sometimes I read such write-ups and begin to wonder if I ever did those things but what will I do? “To be great in life, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated and misunderstood. I don’t see criticism as anything and I am not bothered whenever I am being criticised by the public. I know that some people would love me and others would hate me, so I do not let that disturb me. Trust me, the criticism only makes me a better person, so when people say negative things about me, it makes me understand that I cannot be right every time. I thank God that I am now getting some things right.” http://looknaija.com/2017/05/dont-want-man-will-constantly-beg-money-toyin-abraham/

It's no new thing that foreign newspapers do make blunders about reporting news in Africa most especially Nigeria and mistaking a nearby country with it. There was a time when CNN made this blunder during the ebola outbreak period with Nigeria and Niger. This time around, it's New York Times turn to make this silly mistake using president Buhari's family picture for a Ghanaian news report about "Britain accusing some lawmakers from Ghana of falsifying visa documents for family members". Trust Nigerians, they blasted the hell out of NY times on Twitter. See tweets below... http://looknaija..com/2017/04/new-york-times-uses-buharis-picture-ghanaian.html mynd44
