Romance › Re: Why Men Pull Away After Getting What They Want by plaetton: 2:58pm On Dec 25, 2024
annolomy:
Have you ever wondered why some men pull away after you’ve given them your all? It’s heartbreaking and confusing, leaving you questioning your worth and everything you’ve done. The truth is, their actions often have nothing to do with your value but everything to do with their own struggles, fears, or immaturity.

In my latest video, I uncover the hidden reasons behind this behavior and share how you can heal and protect your heart moving forward. This is a must-watch if you’ve ever felt abandoned or ignored in a relationship.

Not always the case.

Relationships in this era are very often transactional, even when both pretend that it is not.
A man woos a lady because of physical attraction. He telegraphs to her directly or indirectly that he wants to make a romantic investment in her, which very often is backed up with finance. So the woman eventually accepts the deal.
But sooner or later into the relationship, through the emotional feedback loop, the man regularly reassess his investment. When it reaches that point where his return on investment is below par, he pulls himself out of the deal. The woman cries that she already given the man everything, which most often is nothing other than sex.
It is really that simple.

Most modern women don't have much to offer or add to a man's life, so men are constantly reevaluating their investments in a relationship.

You will not escape the absolute institutional racism of any European entity. If you like go to Australia, the U.S.A, Canada, or even worse Israel. The Europeans who invaded these countries made sure, the advanced slavery continued, the only difference between now and then is that, in this era, they have mastered how to hide the slavery in their inbuilt system. The men in the video are absolutely right.

The truth of the matter is, every December you see like just 1 to 2 percent of Nigerians abroad returning home to celebrate and spend money that most of them don't have, many have been saving and out of all the 100% abroad, only 2 percent even have such luxury of returning home to celebrate with their love ones. The remaining 98% simply cannot cough out the ticket money let alone money left to spend in Nigeria to rearrange themselves. I know many of them that have hooked up, they cannot cough out 2000 USD at any given time. Once you Japa, it is TRAP, if you manage to Japada and resettle in Nigeria. Those are the smartest ones. Those ones that hooked, omo you are OYO.

You probably did not watch the video to the end, I think you should buy Data first to watch the video to the end, he was trying to pass information about a Video of someone who left Nigeria, he had everything but left. Don't always attack the messenger, it is wrong when you do that. Do you know what people are going through? First of all any money made in these debt hole countries stays 100% in them. It is not built for you to work hard and make it. No no n No. It is built to scoop the most precious asset Africans have which is Time.

Hard work can get you nowhere, but smart work does. You need to be able to use them interchangeably. Know when to apply smart work to get things done and hard work to get things done. You all talk about JOb, job, Job... OMG, you all have forgotten the African ways. This dead capitalist ideology has already taken so much from us.
Nonsense.
Japa, in the Nigerian context, means to leave this shythole failed nation to look for life opportunities abroad. And yes, most countries outside this shythole offer individuals more opportunities ( the key word here) to build a better life.

The very fact that all Nigerians abroad, whether they are washing toilet for a living or on welfare, can still spare money to take care of relatives in Nigeria says it all.

You see if you report a theft.
Yes, you are the aggrieved but when the thief is apprehended, it is not
a case between you and the thief. It is the Nigerian police vs the thief.
In fact, you are not needed anymore if there are sufficient independent evidence
of the theft to back the prosecution.

If you later found out that it was your friend who did it. You will have a
hard time saving your friend from prison if the police are especially interested in the case.

I don't blame you though, being exposed to the internet echo chambers make many of you
assume full knowledge of what you know little about.
Also, the fact that Nigerian factor often get criminals illegally discharged may have

Repeat this three time.
This is not a civil case between 2 parties.
It is a criminal defamation case between the Nigerian police and Dele Farotimi.

Next time you are in your brainwashing echo chambers take note of the fact.

As to the Ekiti influence.
Even if Dele is convicted over there, he will have a chance to appeal the judgment outside of Ekiti
where he can present the evidence he allegedly possess.
Lol.
Look who is talking about Echo chambers grin

The Nigerian police does not have its own set of laws separate from the laws of the state.
The police charge criminal suspects to court on behalf of the federal or state Attorney General's office.
In this particular case, are the police charging Dele to criminal court on behalf of the Attorney General of Ekiti State or the Attorney General of the federation?
If the police are charging Dele to criminal court on behalf of the Attorney General of Federation, then why did they charge him to a Magistrate Court(state court) in Ekiti instead of a Federal High court in Lagos?
And may I remind you that it is very rare and might even be unlawful for a Magistrate judge to remand in custody an accused person in a misdemeanor offence without a reasonable explanation.
The broad daylight high-handedness with which this case is handled indeed says so much about Nigeria's Criminal Justice System.

Chai, so many ignorant posts.

The case is between the Federal Nigerian police vs Dele and not Ekiti state government vs Dele Rotimi.
What you call a misdemeanor actually carries up to 2 years imprisonment.
The complainant can in addition can sue for damages if he so wishes after the criminal case
is concluded, conviction or no conviction.

Even if there is a law in Ekiti that states that publishers of libelous article should be rewarded
with money, such a hypothetical law won't save Dele from federal crime prosecution.
Don't let those online deceive you.
Funny nonsense.
The police are not the aggrieved party in this case, but an agency of the state.

The accused lives in Lagos, and I assume wrote and published his book in Lagos. Do we not have federal police in Lagos? What was the grand purpose of transporting him to Ekiti for arraignment?
Individuals are charged with committing crimes against the state, not against the police. Police charge accused Individuals for committing crimes against the existing laws of the state.
They only took him to Ekiti state for Kangaroo justice because that is where the aggrieved party has his greatest sphere of police and judicial influence.

Politics › Re: Reuben Abati's Phd Is Wasted Education by plaetton: 10:45pm On Nov 22, 2024
FSU:
Copied

Reuben Abati's PhD is wasted education.

Why?
The current senate president had praised the Igbo during the events related to the burial of an Igbo senator who died recently. He said among other things, that Igbos go out to develop other parts of Nigeria and that other Nigerians do not do quite the same. That the said late senator was a true representation of the Igbo spirit.

Then, Abati was asked to respond to the senate president's comments on his TV program. Abati, after other kinder words about the Igbo, retorted that, according to TOS Bension (A Yoruba political leader who was born in 1917 and died in 2008) that Igbos don't sell land to strangers. That TOS had wanted to buy land and build a house in his Igbo wife's village and that the villagers had told him (TOS) they don't sell land to strangers. Abati went on to affirm his own opinion along the lines that Igbos go out and buy properties and build elsewhere, but do not sell land to others.

Now, Abati claims to hold a PhD. To obtain a PhD anywhere in the world, including in the local university from where Abati obtained his, requires conducting research for at least 3 years. In Nigeria, it takes longer. In most cases, such research involves conducting statistical analysis using sample populations and establishing margins of errors based on the sampling population size. Abati regurgitated the unproven claim made by TOS about his wife's village (one village) and extrapolated that to cover more than 30 million Igbos living in thousands of villages and towns and cities. The inability of Abati to conduct his own research and to gather data from a representative sampling of Igbos on the matter makes his PhD null and void. That he even believed what TOS Benson said in the 1960s or 70s or 80s, or 90s (whenever he had said it), and repeated it in 2024 makes his case even worse and deserved that his alma mater asks for their certificate back.

Assuming one Igbo village does not sell their land to strangers, how is that an Igbo-wide culture that should be linked to other Igbos?

Pray tell, the Redeemed Church, Deeper Life church, Living Faith church, and numerous other churches own properties across nearly all Igbo villages, towns and cities in Nigeria. These churches are private churches owned by Yoruba individuals. The church lands were sold to the Yoruba owners by Igbos.

GTB, Wema Bank, FCMB and a few other banks in Nigeria are 100% owned and managed by Yorubas. These banks have branches in Igbo towns and cities. The lands were sold to them by Igbos.

Polo Mall Enugu and the Onitsha Business School are owned by Yorubas

GLO Mobile is owned by a Yoruba. GLO has offices in Igbo cities. The lands where these offices are located were sold to GLO by Igbos.

There are 1000s of Yoruba who own private properties in Igboland. I personally know one in Umuahia.

I can go on and on. How come Abati does not know this? How come Abati cannot conduct simple research before bleating out on National TV in 2024 that Igbos don't sell land to strangers?

Abati is not only ill-educated, but he is also a bigot, because only a bigot can take an incidence by one person and extrapolate it to all persons related to that offender. Worse still an uncorroborated incidence that was said to have happened decades ago.
Well said.

First of all , I'm not the one who suggested that they arrest and charge him with terrorism related offenses. From what I read on the news, the Finnish authorities did that on their own without my input.
I can bet that they took their time and thoroughly did their homework before deciding to arrest and charged him.
Prosecutors usually make sure they have enough evidence to seek a conviction before arresting someone on terrorism related charges.
In fact, the conviction rate for terrorism related offenses across all EU states are very very high.
Even if after years of litigation,he wiggles out, it would still take its toll on his life. Life would not be the same for him again.
That should be sufficient.
Politics › Re: All You Need To Know About Simon Ekpa & His Ordeal In Finland! by plaetton: 5:44pm On Nov 22, 2024
We should not ever expect Finland to extradite Simon Ekpa to Nigeria. That will never happen.

But the mere fact that he has been arrested, detained and charged with organizing terrorism in another country is sufficient to not only to dislodge and disorganize his comfortable life in Finland, but might see him convicted and ending up in prison, even if just for 1 year. A conviction on terrorism related charges would make him a persona non grata in all EU countries.

That is sufficient.

justlove91:
Having studied hundreds of messages purported to have been communicated by "dead" people through mediums, describing their environments, I've come to believe that physicality is a matter of where one is looking from.

1. They say they inhabit a physical world that is as solid and physical as here on earth. Their houses are solid and they cannot pass through it just as we can't walk through our houses.
2. When they visit the earth plane (here), our houses and other things that make up our physical world are misty and insubstantial to them and they can easily see through or pass through our walls because it is not physical to them.
3. They have a body that is as physical to touch and sight as their former earth body. This body is not just a vacuum, it is a biological machine that contains internal organs like brain, heart, lungs, blood etc though some organs are not present such as the reproductive and digestive organs.

So, from our perspective, we're material while they're immaterial but from their perspective they're material while we and our world are immaterial.
Very very good analysis.
Now, if you are referring to inter-dimensional beings from another dimension, then I absolutely believe and subscribe to that.
In fact, I can opine that the majority of so called spiritual encounters are chance or accidental encounters with inter-dimensional beings.
I subscribe to this because it makes solid scientific sense from everything we know so far about quantum physics, frequencies and the electromagnetic spectrum.
If, for example, our consciousness is only limited certain frequencies in the electromagnetic spectrum for sight , sound , touch, etc, it is logical to assume our physical universe is also limited to certain frequencies beyond what is available on the electromagnetic spectrum. This would logically mean that the possibility of other universes huming on lower or higher frequency bands than our own.
Now, since we know or have come to the conclusion that our brains possess quantum-mechanical characteristics and function like quantum computers, it is plausible that our brains create quantum fields that extend way beyond the limits of our physical senses.
Therefore, it would be plausible that once in a while, under stress, trauma or induced conditions, our brains leap out and briefly entangles with beings or objects beyond our physical frequency band.
It would also make sense that through practice and meditation, the brain can be attenuated or modulated to stretch beyond our normal range of perception.

Deepsight, let's hear your opinion on this particular perspective.

One thing I did notice was that the experiences tended to occur during periods of physical exhaustion and mental alertness.
In other words, when the body is physically exhausted but the mind is overactive, mostly by stress or anxiety.
On at least 2 occasions when I found myself in this dual condition in the middle of the night, I tried and successfully induced an out of body experience and was semi-conscious throughout the experience.

And of course, at the end if it all, being honest to myself, I wondered and still wonder whether those experiences were real or just my own interpretations of something going on within my psyche at that period in my life.

Highlighted shows you're just assuming things without a thorough investigation into the matter {Psalms 10:4} i have discovered that in most cases when critics (atheists) want to talk about God their only focus is comparing what the Bible says with science claiming since these things can't be scientifically proved they are lies.
The Bible is not a science textbook it says a lot about unseen intelligent beings living around us so when these unseen beings operates you can't just conclude that you must see them perform things the Bible said they did in times past before you agree they exist you will continue to demand for proof of their existence while those dealing with them ignore you and whatever you think about them.
As for science intellectuals have come to the conclusion that they can't say God doesn't exist.
WHY?
The Bible was written thousands of years ago before modern day scientists began finding out so many things this book says which surely sound odd during the time it was written.
I will give you three instances.
The book says that God hangs our planet home (earth) upon nothing {Job 26:7} as at the time Moses penned down those words nobody living could agree with him that our planet home as huge as it is can be suspended floating without anything supporting it in fact scientists of his time said a lot that makes sense far much more than what Moses wrote but today you and i know that Moses the man who lived some 3600 years ago is right on the matter.
The book also talked about water circle how it evaporates from the earth, condensed and fall back to the earth as rain {Job 36:27-28} please how did Moses knew all of that back then?
The book also talked about the exact shape of our planet that it's spherical (round) when most people back then thought it is flat! Isaiah 40:22
So who was giving these people the accurate information if there is no unseen intelligent beings?
You said Nigeria is a proof that God doesn't exist yet you don't know that as big as this country is the worshipers of the true God are less than 500,000 so what impact do you think that number can make in the midst of over 200,000,000?

Science is limited to the physical, so I cant agree.
Subjective experiences can be valid, they just may be impossible or hard to share or communicate. Surely you would not say the fact that you cannot prove what you dreamt last night means that you didnt dream it. Or the fact that you cannot prove what you are thinking in your head at a given moment means you did not think it. Or the fact that you cannot prove you are in love with Ekaete means you are not in love with her. Those are subjective but perfectly real.
Dreams have been proven to occur, because neural signatures for dreaming, thinking and feelings of love are unique and scientifically identifiable.
Like I said before, even the Religious experience, an experience often falsely relegated to the realm of the spiritual, is now not only mapable in the brain, but itself subject to manipulation by chemical substances.
At the end of the day, measurable biochemical activity is responsible for subjective experiences we falsely deemed 'spiritual'.

I accept the existence of my spirit based on subjective experience primarily, because I subjectively experience and live it. This is not an experience that can be shared with anyone, as no one else experiences my life but me. This has nothing to do with faith - it is as real as what I live and observe daily - but, being subjective, cannot be shared, anymore than I can prove to you what I am thinking or what I dreamt last night.
Subjective experiences are not trustworthy. Everyone has a different interpretation of the same experience.
Even chemical substances can shape or affect your subjective experience. Likewise, religious experience is a subjective experience, not different from substance induced experiences.
Therefore, the scientific method, scientific rationalism remains the pre-eminent arbiter of our reality.
