Now, I find it very very odd that you failed, even once to mention corruption in our political leadership and how holding corrupt ofgice holders accountable and stamping out corruption is the best and simplest solution to Nigeria's perennial fuel problem.

Nigeria's current fuel problems are 100% as a result of corruption. Corruption at the highest levels of power ,corruption in the petroleum ministry, corruption at the management of the refineries, mind boggling corruption at NNPC.
If there was no systemic and institutionalized corruption from Aso Rock to the Refineries and to the petrol stations, we would have no need to import fuel and no talk of fuel subsidies.

But just like the political jobber and hatchet man that you are, you are indirectly blaming the victims of corrupt governance for mess they are in.

When Nigerians are truly hungry and tired of the mess the country has become, even the protest will have no organizer. Not a tribe or a class. In the meantime, bear in mind that if it is based on natural selection, you, as Onye Igbo, are a natural survivor. Simply face and protect your business. Say no to the protest, and let the dead bury their own dead.

There is absolutely nothing new about what Dangote said.
Infact, I have been hearing this since I began to read newspapers in my pre-teen years.
A European expat said it few decades ago that Nigeria can be one of the best economies in the world if is run the same way you run a business: recruit the best brains, give them tasks and run an efficient service delivery system. It is that simple.
But not that simple in a place called Nigeria.
Here, the Corruption Industrial Complex would never allow anything to function efficiently in Nigeria.
Government is far too profitable and lucrative for those that ply the trade.

Within just 3 months of the Buhari administration, I knew he was going to be an abysmal failure. And I made that prediction here on Nairaland.
The body language of any new governor or president in the first few months tells you what to expect over the coming years.

For instance, in this Tinubu Administration, he has done absolutely nothing about reducing the cost of governance. All the senior officials of the Senate and House of Assembly are either under active EFCC indictments or formerly convicted.
With overbloated and padded budgets , more and more borrowings, this government, unfortunately, is already failing.

Citizens elected and tolerate the type of leaders they deserve.
After 8yrs of Buhari, that Nigerians still voted for APC shows that Nigerians well deserve whatever they are currently getting from the leaders they elected.
