I think the war in ethiopia is more like a civil war. To be frank AU is a dead wood. It is only on paper. Now no country will intervene in the ethiopia case because there is no economic value to them. Russia issue has economic value, taiwan issue has economic value. Even Nigeria has more economic value than ethiipia. I bet you if russia was not at war they would have helped tihray region just to spite america

I’m less concerned about western world intervening or not… I’m just saying no one in Africa is saying anything about it… Take a look at what is happening in DR CONGO. Lots of Africa countries are more concerned about what’s happening in Europe and America. It’s really a shame

The conflict in Ethiopia is deadly and complex. It's not just a civil war but a regional conflict involving Eritrea, Kenya and over 10,000 Somalian fighters. Also, the worst humanitarian crisis is not happening in the Tigray province where the main rebel groups come from, but neighbouring Ahmara province which has been turned into a battle ground for Tigray, Ethiopia and Eritrea. Yet all sides do not allow journalists into the war zone. A catastrophe is unfolding as Ethiopia just bombed the Tigray capital, Mekele yesterday

Another unfolding crisis now is Libya. Fighting between Libya's rival governments has killed 23 people in the past 24 hours and the country may enter a third civil war in 12 years. But these places are not Ukraine and nobody cares about them.
my point is the Africa UNION should be dishing out sanctions or resolving it diplomatically… hardly ever will you hear any Africa leader talk about what is happening here…
Foreign Affairs / Re: War In Ukraine/ War In Tigray/southern Cameron by plenitude(m): 9:32am On Aug 28, 2022
The humanitarian crisis in Tigray is worst than that of Ukraine and yet no Africa country is paying Attention to it…. We are very quick to blame the west for our problems

Dear Africans and my fellow Nairalanders, the War in Tigray/southern Cameroun started long before the recent war in Ukraine. We saw how the European Union and the USA are doing their best to help the Ukrainians, sending both military and humanitarian aids to them.
The war in Ukraine has made more headlines in Africa fora than the war going on in some Africa countries like that of the Ethiopia/Tigray and southern cameroun. What is the Africa union doing about the humanitarian crisis in the aforementioned conflicts??
We saw how some Africa countries are condemning the actions of the Russia government against Ukraine and we also saw some Africa countries who are also on the Russia side. In fact if you go to international fora you’ll see some part of Africa supporting Russia in the comment session while other are antagonist to Russia as well. But in all these I have never seen an Africa raise a single concern about what is happening here in Africa…. What is actually going on?? Are Africans in Africa not worth sympathizing for?? Why is the awareness of what is happening in far away Europe more than that of what is happening in our own land. Why hasn’t any Africa leaders talk about it?? I have been thinking about this for a while now but I honestly don’t know what to think anymore. What are your thoughts my people… can Africans actually be for Africa??

Most Private school teachers don’t earn much. But if you are pretty good at teaching, start organizing home lessons for students… I know of a girl doing same and she is getting good returns… in fact she is considering starting her own school as we speak

Election is around the Conner.
just like every other previous elections, it has already taken the tone of bigotry, religious and ethnic divisions. I am asking my fellow Nairalanders, who do you think among the presidential aspirants is most suitable to lead our great country and why are you choosing that person… I was actually rooting for Kingsley Moghalu but unfortunately he lost out in his party’s primary… I was the only one that voted for him in my Unit when he contested under YPP in 2015… religious aside, who is your choice candidate and why are you canvassing for him/him.

Those good old days when it rained heavily it was usually followed by balls of ice falling from the sky. You could pick and lick just as Iced water. It was harmless. I doubt if it happens now if anyone could put such in the mouth considering the level of pollution in the sky in my part of the world.
Those iced water stones are called Mkpurumini in my part of the world. Igbos call Mkpurumiri.
The drug some addicts take recently called Mkpurumini (Mkpurumiri) looks like the Iced water stones I just described.
. Well detailed. Thanks

experienced nairalanders share some relationship nuggets with the house.
Some are going through a lot in their relationship and your words may mean a lot to them...e.g love with your brain instead of your heart....start preparing for heart break the very moments you start dating so it won't catch you unaware...
