APC has no case from the onset, they were just playing to the gallery. But the fine of 10M is a blow to a renowned SAN like Olanipekun,it shows he would have known better instead of accepting to be a counsel to APC frivolous case!

Exactly. Since they called it fake then they should produce their own copies.

They could not and this then proves that the one they called fake is actually real because they knew it would not contradict what they already had
Results from those polling units were marred with irregularities, that's why it was rejected.

The fact that they are doing houseboy to government officials in Lagos and Enugu also doesn't change anything. In Enugu, Amaka Anajemba an accomplice in the biggest bank fraud in the world was made a political appointee by the present Governor.

So, spare me the crap and mention a single regulator that regulates MBA forex. Don't mention Efcc cos I can get Efcc Scuml certificate effortlessly. Don't talk about SEC cos an official there came out to deny that no forex company is registered with SEC.
SEC doesnt regulate Fx market because it's a global market. However, they are currently working out modalities to see how they can key in and start regulating fx activities in Nigeria.

Good morning everyone, as it's now I don't think One can buy FGN Bond with the minimum of #10000 from primary market. This is the response of Stanbic Ibtc stockbroker.
Dear Sir,

We acknowledge receipt of your mail.

Kindly find below bond quotes for 16/01/2020 for purchase via the secondary market.

Please be informed that purchase of FGN bond via the primary auction is handled by the bank with a minimum investment amount of N50Million .

Kindly visit any of our nearest bank branches in this regard.

Thank you.
Hmm...meaning the interest rate will drop if one chooses to buy via the secondary market!

It means full demand by buyers to purchase a particular stock at the highest price for the day, which is usually +10% (as laid down by NSE).
E.g. MTNN is in full bid in today's market. Buyers queue up to buy it at the highest price its selling.
It closed at N116 Xtyday and the price buyers are willing to buy, even as at now is N127.60

Interprete that in the other way round if its "Full offer" (which is -10%). smiley
Thank you Ma.

I think the issue with your stock is liquidity. You have to always look out for volumes traded in the particular stock you have in mind before buying it. If you buy illiquid stock, it will be difficult to exit such stock.
Thanks sir

Sir, you were not trading real time, that was your problem then.

I had similar challenge with investment -one stockbroker that made me opened account with morgancapital group , and since I started trading by myself real time in the floor of NSE , life has become so sweet, easy , profitable and fun.....just like Madam Ndidigood has said above.

Cheers!
Thanks

I am an old school investor, sorry to say I don't trade online. I send mails to my stock brokers to buy or sell for me and I give them price limits on rare occasions I give them the liberty to buy for me at the best market price. Like yesterday I asked them to sell 27,000 units of Access Bank shares at the best market price, the proceeds will be used to buy more units of UACN shares on Monday at a maximum price of N9.30k per share.

Regular online traders like Aremso, Ukay2, Jejebaba and others will answer your questions .
Alright thanks I appreciate!

It depends on you, I invest for cash flow but when crazy capital appreciation occurs I book profit.

Invest in businesses with history of regular dividend payment in the last 10 years, make sure the dividend yield will give you a minimum of 10%, also consider companies that have been growing their profits in the last 5 years. Make sure you don't over pay for any Investment.

Very difficult to time the market, if you do you will just be working for the stock broker.

Cash flow Investment is stress free and gives peace of mind a company that publishes primary, secondary and tertiary students textbooks Learn Africa Plc formerly Longman Publishers paid a retired Prof a dividend of over N4 million in 2019, he is sure of receiving another payment of N4 million in July 2020 if not higher than what he got last year. I am sure that payment is higher than his pension

Imagine what the old Prof would have been earning if book pirates did not eat into the market share of companies like Learn Africa, University Press, Macmillan publishers and others
One more thing boss,I was developed interest in stock trading but due to some reasons I decided to quite.During my trading experience one of greatest challenges was selling the stock after the price has appreciated. After clicking on sell on the platform(I used Meritrade) ,a times it takes several days before being matched with a buyer. At times I would be forced to sell at market price which most of times resulted in lost or little profit. What could be the reason,is it that I went for stocks that were not easily liquidated? Or I wasn't patient enough for me to be matched with a buyer?

I don't know about the investnow.ng platform, but if it's a real time trading broker where you can buy stocks yourself per seconds without delays and their buy and sell commissions are low, it's good.

I use Morgan capital broker and investment one broker.

But Morgan is more flexible, real time trading and cheaper commissions.

I got frustrated with investment one broker by not using online real time trading platform before moving to Morgan Capital Stockbroker. And since then, life has been sweet.

Also, for those dividend paying stocksyou purchase , get e-dividend mandate from their respective registrars so that your dividend will be paid on the scheduled payment date by the registrars.

Don't forget to be in the Nigeria Stock Exchange Market Pick Alert forum in this nairaland and ask any questions you do not understand. Many members here are in that forum.

Cheers! !
Thanks for your contributions on this great thread. Please I want to ask, when you buy a stock what do you have in mind when buying it?Do you intend to sell it off after some profit,or you just hold it pending when dividend would be paid?

Ifyjos stop thinking of what will happen to you if your sister and your family members found out the truth of what you did. This is what you will do,go to any member of your family you know you can easily relate with and tell him/her of what you and guy did to your sister. After that meet someone you know your sister respects so much that she is willing to listen to .While with them, please tell them the whole truth and please dont be partial with the truth. Then go with them and meet with your sister. When you people are with your sister, let them be the one to narrate what happened to your sister, just be there feeling remorseful, intact if possible let tears drop off your eyes when the narration is going on.I know it is not going to be easy but trust me it is the right thing to do.Whoever that advises you not to open up to your sister and seek for her forgiveness does not understand the consequences of what you did.
