yMcy56: Activities will resume in UBA by tomorrow or Wednesday.... * We don talk am say make you give them 1 or 2 days, especially now that he's addressing shareholders thru press..😊 This market moves in cycles mostly.. I don't have UBA shares for now, my interest is in UCAP. If it falls to my target area I might take a position though I don't expect it to go down much. |

mikeapollo: Those stakeholders whose share priced have fallen drastically would take it as possible sign of ''distress''. Not every stakeholder with huge stake in the bank is ready for all the technical jargons that you may know. All they ''see'' and ''know'' is the stock price. The worse they will do is to sell their holdings and depressed the price. That might even please the majority shareholders. |

mikeapollo: He would care when stakeholders put pressure on him! As long as the bank is not distressed, there is nothing to worry about for him. |

megawealth01: The beautiful thing about this time extension is that it helps me prepare well... Na now I ready to monitor the market this morning
Just imagine they remove the 10% thing... By now Tony for don hold 20 conference meetings and 100 press briefs and 17 board meetings this weekend into today Monday I don't think Tony really cares about the market price of some of his companies. TRANSCORP did not make any significant price movement until Ote came to shake him. The same TRANSCORP has been stagnant again for almost 2 years |

aj8: Where do you think UBA will find her strong support ( ref chart below) and why? However, on our Common sense estimation, it still has value at 3.1x4 x4 = 49.6 ( based on Q1 2026) being that the present scenario has probably already been priced in.
Buying anywhere below the 20 % below that value would be great
That’s below 49.60 x 80% = 39.68
I will gladly load UBA at N36.00-39.68, averaging down if necessary. However, if Wema Bank's Q1 2026 is fantastic, it will help UBA as it will be difficult to price Wema Bank above UBA. Wema will rise and take UBA with it. Can Wema turn in an EPS of 3.1 for Q1 2026? Let’s wait and see. Wema’s 4th quarter of 2025 ( from FY UFS) suggests that it is possible should it maintain that same momentum, to double earnings. Though UBA results are not good, the bank might not shed more than 20% from its current price. |

purity2all: Chai, no where good.
Profits dropped
EPS dropped and operating expenses sky rocket.
This weekend go long o I just hope Tony is not going back to his old ways. UBA, TRANSCORP and AFRIPRUDENTIAL Q1 results all follow similar patterns. Let hope UCAP will be an exception. |

emmanuelewumi: I am not a PE person, I am an earning growth cum quality business person. From the earning growth and quality of the business, I can always forecast a justified earning multiple
Back in the days, I missed opportunities focusing solely on PE That doesn't mean you should dodge the question. What is the average PE for NAHCO in the past five years. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by pluto09(m): 8:18am On Apr 21 |
emmanuelewumi: The compounded annualized earning growth rate from 2020 to 2026 is about 82%. You didn't answer my question. |

emmanuelewumi: PE does not tell the whole story, if Nahco can maintain a growth of 30% for the next 5 years then a PE of 25 is not bad Yes, PE doesn't tell the whole story but it actually tells a very important story. NAHCO is a good company no doubt but we are beginning to see price running faster than value. If I may ask, what has been the average PE of the company in the last 5 years? |

HesInMe: But at least with TSLA you can see a path to high revenue and earnings growth at scale through the launch of robotaxis. And with NGXGROUP you can make the case for fee income from mega IPOs on the horizon (Dangote Refinery, Flutterwave?), trading hours expansion, and new trading products (futures). No significant new investment required.
Where's the growth for NAHCO?
What about GUINNESS and IB? Are they also going to experience a phenomenal growth? |

Where's the growth for NAHCO? Which growth should make a company to sell at earning multiple of 363? It is just ridiculous. We are at point where people pay less attention to earning capacity of a company. What you hear is just buy it and you can double your money in 6 months. |

Sunrisepebble: Which is why I think after Q1 a lot of these stocks will tank We just have to wait and see.... Market direction has been difficult to predict in recent years. I will not be surprised if people start comparing our market to more sophisticated ones. I looked at TESLA this morning and I saw a PE of 363 and I was like wow, a stock could be this expensive... |

Sunrisepebble: PE you mean? If that’s the case Wapco should be at 500, Vitafoam at 350 etc Thank you jare for the correction. I checked the pe of NAHCO on investing.com in the morning and I saw 25. I was surprised some brokers are still putting out a buy recommendation on the stock at current price. |

thebargainhunte: Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc is difficult to understand from an investment perspective. While Air Peace was founded in 2013 and began operations in 2014, it has grown rapidly to become the largest indigenous airline in Nigeria. In contrast, Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc was listed on the Nigerian Exchange in 2014, yet it has experienced significant erosion in shareholder value without any meaningful or sustained growth. This raises serious concerns about the company’s management and strategic direction. Given that other aviation-related companies are achieving notable success, Caverton’s underperformance suggests that its leadership should be held accountable and questioned by shareholders. Have you seen the book of Air peace? |

leo1234: I like it when people are sincere and straight to the point.
Nosa2 has repeatedly said no one should trust or follow him blindly. I like to deal with such individuals in real life, not the wolf in sheep clothing kind of people.
I am surprised that Mankind2024 is disturbed by people's divergent opinions on his billionaire status in a faceless forum. Why do expect everyone to align with you in the first place I guess you now know how it feels to rubbish one's sincere opinion or contribution. When Stockpromoter was genuinely carrying out sensitization about the insurance sector, you personally took it upon yourself to make this thread unbearable for him. Now you expect everyone to follow you hook, line and sinker. Life doesn't work that way. Congratulations on your billionaire status.
Much respect nosa2 🤝 Please don't allow them chase you away from this thread. Nosa himself na wahala. I think he is more gentle now probably because of age. |

Agbalowomeri: Yes, people are campaigning for more liberation and more control for the holder. I think it is 25% that one can withdraw just like Itzlinda said. It is good that people should have control of their money but go and ask people who have withdrawn the 25% what they did with it. More than 90% of those that withdrew the 25% will spend it and not invest |

Considering that treasury bill hovers around 16%, how is STL able to generate this high rate?
Does anyone have link to their factsheet? I have not seen their factsheet in the online app. For TrustBanc
