Good day gurus in the house. I was at Festac office today to do my capturing and after the whole running round I was told that I should do another fresh registration that my first name came before my surname. How do I correct this? That is making my surname comes before my first name.
I’d be capturing in a few days time i hope i won’t have the same issue as on my application slip and payment my first name came first but on the appointment slip my surname came first

No, it will not work, I am afraid.

Thanks I’d try looking for a guarantor nearby

ekitimanalways:

No, the electronic filling of the guarantor's form is not acceptable.
The guarantor's form usually require a blue ink pen.
How about my guarantor prints and fill the form then scan it and forward back to me would that work

I left home early i still got there past 8 i called the “supposed employer” he directed me to the place I got there and I saw little girls and boys between ages 18 and 25 which are the supposed staff of the organization but they were all looking wretched and miserable.
a lot of other Job seekers were also present. We were all sitting waiting for the supposed interviewer then a little girl of about 17 came out from no where lecturing us about why people are poor and why we need to invest, long story short, told us to pay 26000 and bring 4 people who would also bring 4 people.
I got angry and gave them a piece of my mind and left there angrily.

The organization is Neolife which as an obvious scam

I just wasted my time and tfare

Programming / Getting A Job As A Self-taught Software Engineer / Developer Without A Degree by Pod443300: 8:42am On Jan 11, 2023
While the importance of college education is being underated, all around the internet stuff like "school na scam", "a degree is overrated" keeps flying around.
I for one knows the importance of college education and obtaining a degree, but recently everyone is talking about how you don't need a degree to have a good paying job mostly in the tech field.

So out of curiosity I'd like to know if anyone of you is working with a self-taught developer or engineer without a degree or if you're one it'd be inciting to share your experience.

Ps: the image attached to this post is from google

“Of all the hard things we have to do everyday, the most difficult one of them all is to keep going”.

My understanding of the above quote is; Fred Swaniker - in his words, "Do hard things; all of us who are privileged enough to be healthy, to be alive and to have education. Our role is not to do small things and to solve small problems, the only way we can justify privilege is by solving the world’s biggest problems and by doing hard things".

We all may have daily tasks which takes us closer to our goal and aspiration but we must ensure to possess consistency, perseverance, grit, and dedication to complete them irrespective of every obstacle we encounter and how hard they become. This of course is the most difficult of them all but we must DO IT!

This is me documenting my journey as I take on this challenge.
