If you can save up to buy a decent laser jet printer (and if you have a personal laptop - no matter the specs) - you can approach other small private schools with good numbers and offer them a discount (that's what i did) at least before you talk to 5, 2 of them will accept if you show them samples (esp. If you can put those drawings and do the quantitative line thingys).

Since you teach, you can offer some students weekend classes (talk to your proprietor first sha)

Now... Start working on yourself too... With the way the economy is going, it is almost suicidal to stay at one salary scale for too long without multiple side hustle.

For example, I do quite a lot more than typing

Look for a way to quickly learn graphics design (with possibly a 60k laptop) - Yes, you have to spend to get the money you want....then practice and be try to be good....then offer your services online and even to print shops - if you have the independence to; Your foundation as a graphics designer will greatly broaden your horizon in 3d animation - you can be getting at least (if e too small) 1k per design you do, recover your sixty-tasan and some more

3. But whatever you do, don't delay too much, the person who give you 160k go don dey wait to see the lapi wey you say you buy

4. Approach your pastor, make them contribute to you

5. Approach your Dad, tell him your plan and appeal to him through your mum every weekend - He'll pend some projects and support you if e see that you're really passionate about the dream

I work in a private school as a typist, and the salary of 15k is no longer taking care of myself, my daughter and my wife.. I finished my HND program four months ago, I self sponsor myself right from ND. and I have not been to do my clearance because of money. Yes, people want to hear a yes or a no, but a no hurts. If you're a doctor, you can't just be blunt and blurt it out. You need to beat around the bush a little bit and motivate the family of your patient or even tell them a short story that'll make them feel at ease before you finally release the info. This lessens their pains.

Based on what you said about beating around the bush, bluntly say no if you DON'T know the person or you're not in the mood for a long talk. Mood has a lot to play in our characters at times.

Or just give without the person finishing what he/she has to say. There are times to be straight forward, but not when pains is involved. Find a way to soften their souls first.

Helping people is not only by money — motivating stories are helpful too. There are people I have never given money, but they tell me my stories have helped and inspired them.

Telling a story doesn't mean you'll talk for 1 hour. 3 minutes is more than enough to pass a message.

What will I do in such a situation with all the burdens the person is carrying? Jesus said we should bring our burdens to Him.

I single handedly sponsor my self without help from any families member, from registration of waec till I completed my HND program.. with a salary of 8k.
