PoliticsRe: May 29 Handover: No Facts From Jonathan On Fuel Crisis – Buhari by PointB: 9:10am On May 22, 2015
GEJ cannot tell him everything, he (GEJ) has other issues he's dealing with!

Running a country is not for semi-literates like Buhari; it requires a lot of thinking and creativity.
Buhari should be with his cows in Duara, visiting them once a while is not enough! cheesy
PoliticsRe: May 29 Handover: No Facts From Jonathan On Fuel Crisis – Buhari by PointB:

Your submission is poor. It's like a fuel attendant that is asked to start selling fuel for the day without being given the opportunity to take the figures of previous sales on the fuel dispenser. Buhari needs to be handed over power to properly. Jonathan should not start digging his grave. He should stop proving to people that he is actually clueless.
You are dull!

If the fuel attendant brags all year long that he's ready to take over sales having studied the system for a while, and such fuel attendant boasts that he has new and better ways of dispensing fuel and serving customers, does such fuel attendant require ages to start dispensing fuel? What if some of the machines were vandalized and previous day figures are not available, would he go weeping all day long, or use the experience and ideas he boasts he has to hit the ground running?

Basically, the semi-literate Buhari Buhari should stop regaling us with his boring tales and pathetic tears of not being handed over to properly. What exactly constitute proper handover? The semi-literate Buhari should brace up for his job and be creative about it. Crying 'Jonathan is not giving me advise' everyday on pages of newspaper will not cut it! There will be very little margin for errors, and excuses will NOT be tolerated!
PoliticsRe: May 29 Handover: No Facts From Jonathan On Fuel Crisis – Buhari by PointB: 8:19am On May 22, 2015
My understanding during the campaign was that APC knew everything about the current government and know exactly where to start. If that's the case, what's all the cry about? How come we are being told they don't know where to start?

Looks to me like APC/Buhari don't know what they are in for; they don't know what they are doing! And it just 7 days away to start of their 'season'! hmmn
PoliticsRe: Anambra Inaugurates N16bn Tomato, Cassava Plantation by PointB: 9:29am On May 20, 2015
Nice one. Well done Obiano. Private sector driven growth is mostly sustainable.

I thought some folks claim tomatoes only grow in North? Now that's one myth busted.

In any case, most vegetables can be grown in greenhouses, and of course hydroponics, where there is need to conserve space.

Nice one. A worthy honour from Yale.

Okonjo Iweala is one of the many bright spots of GEJ administrations; a two-time finance minister who know her onion. She will go places!

Keep quiet. An insane and morally bankrupt person like you can never come here to preach morals. Need I remind you Nigeria was practising military dictatorship at that time and everything that happened were dictated by military statutes of then?

When it's convenient you accuse him of putting his Muslim brother in a cosy house arrest and Ekwueme in a dungeon, but is Umaru Dikko from Bayelsa and a Christian? Let me remind you criminals like you will be crated any day when the need arises. Oponu!
The bolded is a lie. Actually Nigeria was practicing democracy, before Buhari truncated that beautiful democracy and decided to take Nigeria back to the ignominy of his own brand of crass dictatorship! He didn't overthrow a military dictator, he overthrew a civilian leadership!

The semi-literate president was a one time president, he attends council of state meeting, and has Obasanjo as his adviser, even after setting up a transition team, yet he want more tips from Jonathan on how to lead? Illiteracy is indeed a disease!

In anycase, has the cattle-rearer president elect personally approached Jonathan for any tip? Let him continue deceiving himself, 29th May is just around the corner!

Your father has 6 sons and you are the youngest, the most protected and trusted. The Treasures of the family is in your care. Your immediate senior, who is known to be greedy, selfish, avaricious and smart is found to be wooing you to cooperate so that the two of you can keep the family Treasures to the two of you alone and to the detriment of your Four other seniors. What do think that your four other seniors would do to the two of you, shameless arsonists and thieves? They would fetch machine guns to destroy the two of you before you lay your dirty thiefry fingers any further on the family Treasures. So my brothers, Messrs ss and se, be warned before you heap the mother of all wars on your greedy heads. Your four senior brothers are warning you to stop your reckless rascality and unreasonableness. Bokoharam came to Nigeria not for the desert-empty ne but to reconnoitre to get the family Treasures in the ss before the se is aware. May the God of Nigeria help us all.

Exactly. Biafra sounds too Igbotic enough. I had mentioned this earlier before somewhere. A name such as 'Federation of Lower Niger' would be perfect. Every member of SE/SS would feel an absolute sense of belonging.
We can also do without 'Niger' in the new name!

There is Niger Republic, Nigeria, and Niger State. Surely 'Niger' is becoming boring! And what's "Igbotic" about the name Biafra coined by Ijaw chiefs and while at it, what's wrong with been "Igbotic''?

Op,

Igbo have oil in abundance in all their states except maybe Ebonyi and huge gas reserve in Imo.

Addax Petroleum hits new discovery in Nigeria

Addax acquires shallow water exploration license in Nigeria

Addax Petroleum Corporation reports a significant onshore oil discovery from the Njaba 2 well (formally Okaka) currently drilling in the eastern part of the OML124 license area in Nigeria. Addax Petroleum has a 100 per cent working interest under a Production Sharing Contract covering the OML124 license area, whereby the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation is the concessionaire. Addax Petroleum currently produces approximately six thousand barrels per day from the Ossu and Izombe fields in OML124, which is located within the stable and peaceful Imo State.
http://www.scandoil.com/moxie-bm2/news/addax-petroleum-hits-new-discovery-in-nigeria.shtml

And that just Imo State alone. Abia, and Anambra are already part of Oil producing state as Imo. And if all these places have oil, what stops Enugu and Ebonyi from having similar!

Let's assume for a moment that Igbos don't have resources (read Oil and Gas), which do you think is more rewarding -sharing N100 among 6 people or sharing it between 2? Beside the abundant natural resources, Igbos have abundant human resources, who are very highly educated, diligent, creative, and enterprising with great believe in their ability, and amazing resilience, erroneously construed as arrogance and domination!

In anycase, Igbo are prepared to go it alone, the momentum is gathering, and it will be the single most discussed topic/event in this dispensation. Our motto as Igbo continue to be "Live and let live; and be your brother's keeper!" People who dwell in the South South region will always have a place in Igboland as a result of our shared past and perhaps common destiny.

Join us or stay on your own or with Nigeria, the choice is yours!

Nigerians should take note of the voting trend since independence. In fact, since the 1950s, the North Central per se had never voted in the manner it did along with the other parts of the North as it did at this particular time. These are the kind of things we have been looking for a long time. Various initiatives have been put in place in order to see that northerners from wherever they are, from the 19 states, become one as far as voting is concerned. We are not saying 100 percent of northerners should be in one political party but that northerners should have one voice, they should decide and dictate the politics of Nigeria; like it has been before independence and even during the First Republic because of the numerical strength of the North.

But of recent we became divided so we became so vulnerable. But God in His infinite wisdom and mercy used the goodwill of General Muhammadu Buhari and we have gotten the kind of unity that we have been yearning for for so long. We have realised this dream now. So now that we have achieved the unity we long for because of Buhari’s goodwill, it is only fair that we now make some efforts to consolidate these gains because General Buhari will not be the president for ever. So that after him, we have consolidated on this goodwill and we will be able to grow this unity, political cooperation, electoral cooperation from strength to strength so that the North will as much as possible dictate the political landscape of the country and what happens in Nigeria as it used to do.[/b]
