Tinubu, if you want to shoot, shoot!. Don't talk. - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
If the druggie, Tinubu, and his Agbadorian hordes, has any intention of invading Niger, he needs to do it now. Delay is dangerous for our soldiers, cos every time wasted talking is time for the Nigeriens junta to fortify their defenses, and more Nigerian soldiers dead.
Biodun556: If a military head of state understand the psychological impact of coup in neighboring countries on his soldiers, why can't civilian government do same?
Sanni Abacha came to power through coup but he was fighting coup on other countries. The people of northern Nigeria supported him but opposed Tinubu decision to intervene in Niger
Everyone has advised the druggie against war, but his Agbadorian hordes keep urging him to his damnation. Let him hasten to wage his war. Is it by force to support the drug baron? If he thinks the war is good, let him cast the first stone.
I'll be happy to follow the war as I'm currently following the Russian-Ukraine war on a daily basis.
FreedomfromtheT: Nigeria's president Bola Tinubu is the current ECOWAS chairman. Nigeria is s major player in ECOWAS. ECOWAS authority of heads of state and government wants to use force ie go to war against the Nigerien junta. President Tinubu asked for approval from the Nigerian Senate. The Nigerian Senate says no. The Muslim northern neighbours of Niger Republic keep chorusing no. Tinubu has legitimacy issue and desperately wants to please the US and France perhaps to gain international acceptance. On the other hand, Tinubu can't afford to displease the Muslim North - not at this auspicious time. There may be rerun in the presidential election. Even if the court ruling or rerun favours Tinubu, he will still need the North for his likely second term bid. Tinubu thus finds himself in a very difficult situation akin to being between the devil and the deep blue sea. Should Tinubu then resign as ECOWAS chairman and leave the rest of the ECOWAS members who are interested to go to war against Niger without Nigeria being involved?
ECOWAS have seen many coups before and never urged war. The only person urging ECOWAS to war is the ECOWAS chairman.
The ECOWAS chairman needs the war more than ECOWAS, or the people of Niger they seek to liberate!
kokoA: They want IPOB to do their worst Nothing will happen if they don't release him and nothing will happen even if they release him.
There is no telling what a 'desperate' person will do. Government everywhere seek peace and security, looking for a desperate group's 'worse' is not smart especially when we don't know what that worse could be. It's a dangerous game to play.
Biafra is not about Kanu or Simon, it's not personal.
If Kanu dies today, Simon is already doing the 'job'. Dropping Simon doesn't kill the ideology.
You just need one articulate Biafran (millions abound) with a mic, and an internet radio station, the rest is easy.
Incidentally, fragmenting the group (IPOB, Autopilot) has also proved counter productive. Now Nigeria need to worry about two highly motivated sucessionist. It's only a matter of time before IPOB, join force with the Autopilots, as event around Kanu unfolds. Less I forget, there still some parading themselves as MASSOB!
The government of the day will by their action determine what happens next. They need to choose between IPOB or the AutoPilot.
Commonsense dictates that they choose the Kanu led IPOB, which has largely proved itself a toothless bulldog! But do Nigeria leaders have commonsense as the Op originally asked?
TheBillyonaire: Such a shame if our politicians do not understand what this war is about. Our gas pipeline through Niger and Algeria to Europe is the reason for this coup and the pending war, so it is important that we focus on our interests and work with any alliances that guarantees our vested interest only.
If peace will guarantee our success, then we must pursue, but if war is the only option, so be it.
Do you have gas running in your house? Or you don't know that like water and electricity you can actually have metered gas running in your house? If we don't have such in Nigeria already, why are we do desperate to sell the gas to other people? Are you forbidden from good things?
I bet you don't even have electricity and running water in your home.
Inferiority complex is your problem, always thinking of the whiteman's interest before yours.
That said, have the Nigerien coupise said they will stop the pipeline? What reason do they have to?
There is no doubting the fact that INEC is at liberty to determine how results are transmitted.
But once the decision is made, and commununicated to interested parties and stake-holders, it becomes part of the Electoral Guideline, and INEC is not at liberty to change it in the middle of an election.
Physicist: The particular quote some people like to mention about drumming for war by Yorubas in general and attributing the quote to IBB was about General Diya and General Adisa. The quote was not about the entire Yoruba tribe.
If I hear that Diya is planning a coup, I will go to sleep and if I hear Adisa is planning a coup I will go to slumber.
Minime10: Who ask you Wetin you dey try do now, owon weyrey🤣 Oladipo Diya no be Yoruba man before? Abi, Adisa na Kanuri im be?😏
Lol.
Diya actually admitted incompentence (and cowardice) for both himself and Adisa. The way he said is so I pitiful and funny at the same time. I've laughed so hard.

See them patriots rubbishing Nigerian image abroad😎
The headline is damning tho'
Sorry to burst your bubble, Tinubu is not Nigeria. He is a criminal mastermind who has brought his ignominy and stain upon Nigeria. So those calling him out for what he is are not doing Nigeria any disservice. If anyone is rubbishing Nigeria, it is:
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, first of his name Defender of the criminal realm The bastard The She / He The forger The druggie And bringer of shame!
He Tinubu is the bringer of shame to Nigeria, and those who support him are not helping the matter.
tsdarkside: they were buildin it to connect to the gas pipeline in niger republic.... most of us didnt knew that....we were busy with tribal-bashings....
did you knew that part of the pipeline leadin to europe is already finish and ready in algeria....??
Are we prohibited from having gas run in our homes, or from rail tracks on our land? Why NIger or Europe first?
successmatters: They will only talk, Niger Delta oil money is the hope to wage the war, Nigeria troops are the ones to bleed, and the burden will still be on the weak shoulders of an old druggie.
Imagine oo. The money 'saved' from subsidy withdrawal is what the Senior Agbado man want to use to wage war. When will they start using the money to develop Niger Delta? Do they know how much it cost to buy:
We don't produce any of these. We have to pay other countries to buy them so that we can go and use them to kill productive people. That is what war meant - waste money to kill. It doesn't develop a land!
Is is bad idea to spend these oil money developing Imo, Delta or Akwa Ibom State as an alternative melting pot to Lagos State? When?
Every opportunity NIgeria have is to waste oil money.
AlexBells: You know We Igbos are very considerate and loving people you know often I even think how how would Nigeria fair without us, we are not selfish, you remember Araba, the North wanted to leave, Zik said to them no, look you lack sea access if you leave Nigeria there would be issue.
They North are our last born, they are our baby, I don’t know where some people picked up this wicked character, you know sometimes when I watch the things some people do, I say no this is unAfrican, they have never minded going any length to achieve their ambitions, remember wide wide west, people were laden with gasoline and burnt, it doesn’t matter anything can go.
The North have hurt us in the past, they still do but we won’t allow their annihilation with ECOWAS bombs, nooo it is wicked, I hope they change their ways as well and look at us with the concern we look after them, last born Wahala that’s North they were sincere anyway, they said the couldn’t rule themselves and wanted a prolonged British stay, we have to looked after them now.
We can't be sure which direction the North will go in the future despite our effort to protect them even at the risk of the continual devilish hateful propaganda by some of our S Western brothers. But that's not important, what is important is that we continue to play our role holding things together and being the lone voice when necessary.
Sorrow may last into the night, but our join cometh in the morning. We just need to keep our eyes peeled, ears on the ground, and head high. What will be will be!
