Sorry to burst your bubble, Tinubu is not Nigeria. He is a criminal mastermind who has brought his ignominy and stain upon Nigeria. So those calling him out for what he is are not doing Nigeria any disservice. If anyone is rubbishing Nigeria, it is:

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, first of his name
Defender of the criminal realm
The bastard
The She / He
The forger
The druggie
And bringer of shame!

He Tinubu is the bringer of shame to Nigeria, and those who support him are not helping the matter.

They will only talk, Niger Delta oil money is the hope to wage the war, Nigeria troops are the ones to bleed, and the burden will still be on the weak shoulders of an old druggie. grin

Imagine oo. The money 'saved' from subsidy withdrawal is what the Senior Agbado man want to use to wage war. When will they start using the money to develop Niger Delta? Do they know how much it cost to buy:

- Tank
- APC
- MRAPs
- Guns
- Artillery piece
- Grad Rockets
= Drones
- Bullets
- Bullet proof vests

We don't produce any of these. We have to pay other countries to buy them so that we can go and use them to kill productive people. That is what war meant - waste money to kill. It doesn't develop a land!

Is is bad idea to spend these oil money developing Imo, Delta or Akwa Ibom State as an alternative melting pot to Lagos State? When?

Every opportunity NIgeria have is to waste oil money.

At this point only the Agbodorians are still war mongering for their principal. The rest of Nigeria have left them behind.

Tinubu should use his MC Oluomo and his touts to wage his war.

You know We Igbos are very considerate and loving people you know often I even think how how would Nigeria fair without us, we are not selfish, you remember Araba, the North wanted to leave, Zik said to them no, look you lack sea access if you leave Nigeria there would be issue.

They North are our last born, they are our baby, I don’t know where some people picked up this wicked character, you know sometimes when I watch the things some people do, I say no this is unAfrican, they have never minded going any length to achieve their ambitions, remember wide wide west, people were laden with gasoline and burnt, it doesn’t matter anything can go.

The North have hurt us in the past, they still do but we won’t allow their annihilation with ECOWAS bombs, nooo it is wicked, I hope they change their ways as well and look at us with the concern we look after them, last born Wahala that’s North they were sincere anyway, they said the couldn’t rule themselves and wanted a prolonged British stay, we have to looked after them now.

We can't be sure which direction the North will go in the future despite our effort to protect them even at the risk of the continual devilish hateful propaganda by some of our S Western brothers. But that's not important, what is important is that we continue to play our role holding things together and being the lone voice when necessary.

Sorrow may last into the night, but our join cometh in the morning. We just need to keep our eyes peeled, ears on the ground, and head high. What will be will be!

You bastards were all over the place rallying support for the coup and calling for it to be domesticated in Nigeria.

Why are you bastards such shameless liars.

I don't know about those calling for coup in Nigeria, the one coupist I know is the sitting president who didn't score 25% in FCT on top of dodgy past life, who is looking for blood of innocent Nigeriens and Nigerians to add to the mortar he is using to cement his illegimacy.

The Igbo nation was the first to rise against him, and by so doing open the eyes of the North to the clear and present danger being masquerade as, what did you call it, Police Action!

Shameless war monger, get off my mention!

Those are the justice that shape our judgement, of course we don’t support the coup, but we want the most humane means of resolving it, this is just actions of few men why put the fate of millions on the line, let’s exhaust all considerate means first

The rush from the coup plot to war mongering is even alarming. One would think there is something else, a hidden agenda behind, like using the war to clip the Northern Nigeria power broker's influence once and for all (strategy, sophistcation, as some of them have put it already). While, as Igbo nation, we may have our differences with the Northern politicians, and some of their SW cohorts, such misgiving is not to the point of creating an existential threat for them.

Igbo believe in fairness, and justice. Yes, we should have our turn at the presidency, but NO, we will not want to destroy the North or South West to achieve such ambition. What would be the fun in doing that? That's not the Igbo way. Our way is live and let live; level playing ground.

We don't hate the North, and would not standby and watch them be destroyed by an illegitimate Agbodorian war monger who want to perpetuate himself in office by means of genocidal blood letting.

Tufiakpa!

That said.

It is foolishness, and utter misunderstanding of the Igbo World view to think that we will support every moves and action of a government or individuals because we supported something the did yesterday,

For example, I still think it's foolishness of the highest order to invest money buidling rail track to Niger Republic, under the clueless and profiliglate run of Buhari. This position is further vindicated by the military adventurism going on it that country today. The billions spent in that project would have been well spent providing same infrastructure to the Niger Delta area / South South given the perchant to deny the Igboland such by the the previous regime. Now one wonders what becomes of this rail project under this circumstance.

I hope the FG cancel this project immediately as our money is about to go to the drain, no matter how this coup is resolved. Niger Republic is not a reliable partner. We were right then, we are right now.

Indeed.

We condemn the coup in Niger Republic as we hold the believe that free and fair voting is the best way to elect leaders. We do not believe that you must 'grab it, snatch it, and run away with'. That said, we roundly reject unnecessary bloodshed, and suffering that war and war monger seek to unleash on the people of Niger. We believe diplomacy, sanctions, and other form of economic punishment is the best course of action to bring the coupists and the backers to order.

But we say NO TO WAR.

According to Ohaneze, there are 11 MILLION Igbos living in northern Nigeria.

That’s just not right.

I doubt if Igbos would accept even 2 million Hausas moving into Igboland.

It’s just not balanced.

Is Ohaneze National Population Council or National Bereau of Statistics? Why are you accepting their figures? I think you should accept mine which states that we don't have enough Igbos in those area.

I propose more migration, it's what Nigeria is working hard for - Unity.

My own is that if Tinubu, and his Agbadorian hordes want a war with Niger Republic, they should have their war without dragging the rest of us into the mess.

If he wants to fight, let him go ahead, but it's insanity for him to expect 100% support in a country where he got 36% ficticious electoral mandate.

Godspeed Tinubu.

Which trial? The court discharged and acquitted him but Buhari ignored the court judgement.

Let's pretend the goverment has a case against him. They said he's a terrorist and commited treason, shouldn't they try him and pass judgement. Aren't Nigerians the same people who said that Aguiyi Ironsi kept coup plotters for 6 months without trying them for which case they murdered him. Why is Kanu, alleged to have comitted treason, not been tried speedily?

The only reason is that the FG is benefiting from the crisis his incerceration without trial is causing.

If they have no reason to hold him, they they should obey their own court and release him. Otherwise, it's only a matter of time before this crisis engulf other part of Nigeria. Troubles, like humans are like water, and they have a way of flowing downstream following path of least resistance.

Don't mind many i/diots here shouting Igbos are this and that over this matter. They want to rush Tinubu into war because he's illegitimate. In their mind, going to war on behalf of US will provide him with the needed legitimacy.

The people I pity most in this evolving saga is Northern Nigerian. Some of the believe that Igbos don't like them, but look around, we are the ones trying turn their homeland from being used as a battle ground between the Russian and US to the advantage of Tinubu.

If they can't see what is happening and prevent it, then the North is not as savvy as they make believe.

If they want Tinubu to go to war on their behalf because Buhari has lost his retirement plan, I would be ready to watch the movie.

EVER SINCE THEY STARTED THE WAR IN UKRAINE, THEY HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR MEANS TO DRAG AFRICA INTO IT.

I GUESS THEY HAVE FINALLY FOUND A SMOKING GUN AND A VERY HOPELESS FELLOW LIKE TINUBU IN ASO ROCK, THAT MURDERED NEARLY TWO HUNDRED NIGERIANS IN ENDSARS, TO TAKE THE WAR TO NIGER REPUBLIC.

NIGERIA THAT IS DIVIDED GOING TO FIGHT NIGER WILL BE VERY FUNNY INDEED.

I WILL LIKE TO SEE OUR IGBO BROTHERS THAT WILL BE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO JOIN TINUBU.

WE ALSO KNOW THE NORTH WILL NOT TURN ON THEIR BRO IN NIGER.

MAYBE YORUBA WILL FIGHT IT, WITH MILITANT HELP. U KNOWN ASARI AND CO. cool

My own problem with this is that scarce resources will be used to prosecute war for the US. As for the fighting itself, it's the poor people from every tribe, Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani etc that will be used as cannon fodders, especially if the Russians decide to move quickly into the war. They already have Wagner on ground so it easier for them to get to their people into position than the US. The US will rely on ECOMOG while the Russians will use Wagner. ECOMOG will need training before joining the battle, while the Wagner are already battle ready.

If the war last 2 weeks, Nigeria will be in trouble. A decisive victory, a knock-out blow within a week will work to Nigeria's advantage, beyond a week, doom will come. This I have seen.

HE WANTS TO USE NIGER TO SCARE THE MILITARY IN NIGERIA AWAY FROM SNATCHING POWER FROM HIM.

EITHER WAY, HIS REIGN WILL BE SHORT LIVED, THE PROBLEMS WILL BURY HIM ALIVE.

I'm sure it's in Tinubes interest to go to war. He'll need to show the American's that he can be a reliable operator for them. It will be for him, an opportunity too good to be missed. But the repercusion will be grave for Nigeria and Nigerians, especially those in the North. US will not, and cannot give Nigeria all we need to prosecute such war. And even at that, Russia, China will intervene on behalf of the Nigeriens, the latter more subtely.

If/when the war start, I will spectate, and watch as history unfold.

As for Buhari, good bye to his retirement plan, Niger has changed forever for him.

I rest my case.
