For fact as soon as the oil runs out, Niger Delta is toast! Best to renegotiate now and get it over and done with. Nigeria is a mirage; a fraud! |
Reference:APC won which election? APC is simply the donkey Buhari rode on to win the election. APC is not the President, Buhari is. As a matter of fact Buhari can decamp today from APC and still be the President! Let's even assume for a moment that APC won the election, who is APC? Tinubu, Atiku, Saraki? You guys are on a long thing if you think APC won the election, when in actual fact Buhari won it for his people! |
Buhari is the President, not APC. It was him who won the election, not APC. He should stop entertaining us with excuses and get down to the business of governance. Boko Haram is overunning Maiduguri while Buhari and APC trade blames. What kind of nonsense is this from buhari and APC? |
Isn't buhari supposed to be dealing with these gutless mass murderers? Where is the brainless, semi-literate when you need him? |
The more things 'change' the more they remain the same! #OneChance |
Of course the Op is as relevant as Musiwa! Ouf! |
A semi-literate; i.e. neither here nor there! ![]() |
Boring. I almost doze off reading it. |
Alas, the Delta rape continues In far flung land, Where delta riches are shared, Without recourse to owners Men gather, to scheme How the loot and rape will proceed Now that their lies fail, Will compromise or brute be the card Will delta get her crumbs? Now the Delta licks her wounds Of miss chances Not just of Ojukwu But of Jonah the Lucky Of what should have been And what could have been But never was! In the far flung land Where delta loots are shared Men gather To chart another scheme To plunder the delta In the name of one, In the name of all! Even as scales fall From our eyes And their lies exposed Who blinks first Who blinks next Who bells the cat Or cages the frog? Alas, men gathers now In far flung land, To share loots Stolen, From the poor Delta |

coldFLARES1:Thanks for your candor. And since you agree the truth is out there somewhere, I rather wait for it than continue to postulate. |
lexy2014:Okonjo Iweala herself has stated she's not perfect. I think it's uncharitable to indeed call NOI publication of the ECA figures as 'activism'. This is not the first time her office has reacted to malicious and downright mischievous claim by the governors, or indeed anyone at that. Clarifying insinuations has been a consistent policy of her office. So calling it activism, or acting out of fear as Governor Oshiomole called it is downright laughable. Actually, Oshimole fits that profile by miles on the basis on this belated rants. Now to the issue raised by Governor Oshiomole. Isn't it interesting that on one hand Governor Oshiomole claimed that the administration of the ECA fund is shrouded in mystery, while on the other hand he's rolling out figures claiming how the ECA funds was ran? If he doesn't have the details as he claimed, then on what basis is he feeding us with the unsubstantiated figures? What are his sources? Are his claims correct, complete, and accurate? Who corroborates him? Why should I swallow hooks, line, and sinker, the words of a man who started by confirming his ignorance? What kind of people believe a self confessed ignoramus? Isn't it time we ascertain facts dispassionately, rather than being fickle minded to believe everything we read? Where was Oshiomole, when NOI stated that a some point, as revenue dropped, allocations to States were augmented with funds from ECA? Is this information true or not? Is Governor Oshiomole also ignorant of the drop in revenue as oil price crashed? Didn't he receive the augmented allocation? Is also true that State Commissioner for Finance of the various State Government are present at some of those meeting where these decisions were taken? Did Oshiomole debrief his commissioner to get clearer picture? If he didn't, why blame the Minister for his laziness induce ignorance? |
Nice one. A firm grip, by a strong man! |
The most laughable part of Oshiomhole’s article is the claim that Okonjo-Iweala has been speaking out lately because of the “fear of Buhari”. Nigerians know this is ridiculous. If there is any minister whose voice has been strong on the right issues over the past four years it is Okonjo-Iweala. Okonjo-Iweala combines a stalwart integrity, a mastery of her mandate and the courage of her convictions. She therefore has no reason to fear. Those who cannot adequately explain what they did with the resources of their states and are begging for bailout are those who should to be scared. On point! Oshimole is simply trying very hard to be in Buhari's good books for obvious reason! |
Jesusloveyou:Says Oshiomole who said he didn't get any meaningful information about how the ECA funds was ran. And you belief him? Perhaps, you should go back and fetch your brain where your left it! |
demandtruth:Not been able to spot the correlation clearly show your inability to read between the line! Isn't Oshiomole rant a counter-attack at NOI for publishing figures the Governors were allocated from the ECA and such other funds? Has Oshiomole taken his time to explain what he did with the funds he collected? Isn't that what he should explain first before launching his counter-strike, that's if we discount his dodgy eleventh timing? I didn't know that daughters migrating from home to sell flesh due to economic challenges is classified as "families problem"! Armed robbery, burglary and other allied activities, must indeed be family problems! At least in your bigoted world view! |
How much did Oshiomole receive from the ECA, Sure-P and others, how did he utilize these money to the benefit of Edo State economy? Why did Aisha Buhari need to remind us that Edo women are still migrating in their numbers to Italy purveying flesh? Shouldn't Oshimole be explaining how money he received from FG was utilized to impact in the life of citizens of his state? Isn't that what Okonjo Iweala meant when she published the allocations each state go from the ECA and others? Why blame the Minister when you failed as governor to effectively utilize the money the Minister allocated to his state? |
Remove subsidy on fuel, some id/iots said NO, now the grace us with various rants! Not interested! |
I'm yet to see the difference between cramjones and musiwa. ![]() The 'Berem' brand is even much better than this lousy crapjones monica. Berem, you are best served rolling with, and enhancing your numerous monika than descending to using this trashy handle. Your call though. |
I have answered this question many times and it seems people just dwell on debt but in the context of debt, let us look at the assets too. I am leaving behind hundreds of kilometres of roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, courtrooms, social services, skill centres, streetlights and traffic lights. I am leaving behind also people who now have jobs, who did not have jobs seven years ago. I am leaving behind a stronger security force; a stronger LASTMA, a stronger KAI. That is where the money went. I am leaving behind a rail system. I am leaving behind so many assets for the continuity of life. I am also leaving behind a bigger workforce – a better equipped workforce.Fashola's response is very pedestrian. Lagos State is not the only state leaving behind infrastructure. The question he should be answering is whether the infrastructure he's leaving behind in commensurate with the huge debt he's leaving behind. Again, where is Fashola pulling the fictitious 21 million people from? The last official census put Lagos population at 9 million people. Indeed Lagos State population has grown, but how that manage to become 21 million would make an interesting read. And simply dividing the income with number of people is also pedestrian. Is he building new roads, new hospitals, new schools, courtroom etc for every new addition to Lagos State? Isn't it principle of prudential planing of visionary leadership to forecast and plan ahead, and build infrastructure base on projected growth? Why does he need to simply divide the population with income when asked question about spending? A new couple who intend to have say a family of four will probably rent/own a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment, they do not need to build more houses on the arrival of every baby. The arrival of every baby will definitely increase the recurrent cost of running the home, but it will have very little impact on the fixed/capital asset (the house). If some of the children grow old enough to add to the income of the house, doesn't that help with the cost of maintenance and running expenses? Even some of the so-called infrastructure are heavily tolled, and this same people pay through their sweat to use the facility. By the way, where is the rail system? Fashola is being very economical with the facts/truth here, and it's sad to see people make argument in support of this obvious massive sleaze that's going on in fashola's Lagos. |
Signed. Done. Dusted. Haters will always hate what they can't achieve. NOI is a shining bright light that cannot be hidden! ![]() |
condralbede:Me too, until I learnt the were made by lepers in unclean places! |
condralbede:Tomatoes and onion can be grown in the south! |
BuddahMonk:About time we start start growing watermelon and carrot in the South. If you can grow cucumber and 'egusi' surely you can grow watermelon. As for carrot, most moist soil can grow carrot! We need to think! |
byrron:hehehehehe Buhari's problem is his semi-literacy, no more, no less! ![]() He trusts his cows more. ![]() |
NobleG1:Amidst the loads of craps you posted, the bolded makes some sense. So let the semi-literate Buhari sit with his team, do his planning and plot implementation. If he has issues that need to be addressed, he needs to speak with those in charge directly, and ensure he gets those things resolved. Daily lamentation on newspapers is akin to whipping up emotions, and that's improper leadership! Leadership means taking charge. Buhari has spent more time visiting his cows in Duara since he won election, than actually visiting those that will help his transition! His cows wont give him any idea, let alone inspiration and he can't get anything done by reporting Jonathan and PDP on the news daily. He needs to work on his plans whether he feels GEJ is helpful or not! That's what most people are saying here! This is Buhari visiting his cows! https://www.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Cow1.jpg This is Buhari visiting his cows again https://static.pulse.ng/img/incoming/origs3782166/8288639995-w980-h653-q70/Buhari-farm-cow-3.jpg Where is Buhari visiting President Jonathan? Yet the semi-literate is lamenting not being given advise. I bet his cows will advise him! |
agurza:Certainly not for cattle herders! |
In any case, most of the challenges faced by the Buhari Transition Team is caused by them. Every bits and pieces of information they have at their disposal is used to fuel propaganda and blackmail the outgoing president! Election is over, governance is upon them, yet they run their transition like some group of amateurs, and try to whip up emotions when things don't go their way. It's either buhari's illiteracy status is the problem or those around him are. Whichever way, transition is not the same thing a campaign. When you use transition data to fuel unneeded propaganda, you invariably shoot yourself in the leg! Mr Buhari and co., campaign is over, quit with the emotional outburst of menopausal woman, and man up! |
NobleG1:The problem here is defining "smooth transition". What does it mean? When is transition smooth? When we have two presidents at the same time - Jonathan and Buhari? Buhari said he doesn't have enough information to make decision, I ask what information and what decision? He said he doesn't have enough information to plan, again what plan? The fact that Buhari is lamenting doesn't make him truthful or honest. Me think it's part of a grand scheme to dilute expectation and explain possible failure to hit ground running. And it's totally shameful and utterly uninspiring to start off like that! |
By now, the would be ministers should be undergoing intensive scrutiny by the various security agencies, if Buhari is still talking about how he will chose them, then indeed he's dumber than he looks! This is indeed #babaonechance! |
OrlandoOwoh:Lol, I bet you are a fuel attendant . Tough life! Well, I got news for you; where previous figure is not available sales must go on! The mess can be fixed later, and responsibility/sanction apportioned to whom it's due. Lamentation will not dispense fuel to the growing number of cars queued at the filing station, it will only increase frustration across board. In any case, the fuel-attendant doesn't run the station, he runs a pump! Perhaps, that why the fuel-attendant is poorly paid, as the station manager gets to make the tough call in desperate times. Nigeria is a complex country, the semi-literate Buhari needs to determine the best, fastest and most effective method to get what he needs to do his job. Shouting on newspaper everyday is not going to cut it; no news publication is going to make any difference to what he gets from the incumbent, if anything, it might even alienate him further from the incumbent. A sleight of hand, a sly move, concessionary engagement, conciliatory approach, etc are some the the tools available for him, but for his semi-literate status he's unable to figure this out. Propaganda, just like bulls%^t got him to the top, but bulls%^t just like propaganda can't keep him there! He needs to think out of the box for creative solution. He's already a professional lamentator, and that's not in anyway inspiring confidence at all! |
