How is this different from delegate and vote buying?
You are a big idiot.

So why do you hate Obasanjo so much. Hypocrites? You voted him twice you say

How come you nevr have anything good to say about your beloved Obasanjo
Why do Eboes hate Obasanjo? It is not just Obasanjo you hate but anything Yoruba.
Spare me the nyposcrisy
Igbos hate Obasanjo in your deluded head.

What a deluded little mug.

Hate Obasanjo in what sense?

Who were the champions of OBJ administration.

You know nothing about history.

There is no problem just do not misrepresent it that you supported Yoruba you had no choice. That was the only thing on the menu after Obasanjo defeated Ekwueme and others
Do not try to tell us that we owe you for supporting Obasanjo
We do not owe you jack
You have never reasoned beyond tribalism anyway.

Nobody is surprise. Even the North knows the reason you supported them in 2015 and they will pay you back in 2023.

Watch the North disappoint you come 2023 and then you will get sense.

You are wrong

We had a choice in 2003: Ojukwu (APGA), Jim Nwobodo (UNPP), Ike Nwachukwu (NDP), Arthur Nwankwo (PMP)

Yet we voted your son (OBJ) again even when the King of the whole Igbo land (Eze Igbo Gburugburu) in the person of Ojukwu was on ballot.

Heaven will judge any Yoruba that accuses Igbos of Tribalism.

We know the tribe that are highly tribalistic in Nigeria.

Not true Southerners did not rally around Abiola and why did these so called southerners choose Obasanjo instead of Falae whom the Yoruba supported or are Yorubas not "southerners"
Is OBJ an Hausa man.

Two of your sons are contesting and Igbos decided to support the one they prefer, how is that a problem?

Is like Igbos complaining that Yorubas Voted Zik instead of Ojukwu.

Keep dreaming till 2025.
Which state in NC would PO possibly win? I bet you that even Benue state that is a whole Christan state will not deliver Labour come 2023. It's PDP, then APC labour should be battling with either third, fourth and fifth position there about.
So I don't know where you are from, that you aren't aware the PDP chairman is from the zone.
Keep deceiving yourself mugu.
Crazy analysis. Go and listen to Dogara's speech on AIT.

Let's not be fooled. We already know why Northerners are doin this, but the fact is that half of the northerners votes belongs to APC and the other to PDP. Any Northerner shouting Labour is just chasing clout. Know this and know Peace.
This one is dreaming.
North Central is voting LP.

NW/NE will be divided.

Obi still have an edge.

Dear sir, the result you are referring me to ended that way because two northerners contested that election. If you give obi 45% there, then how many would atiku and tinubu get. Yes, we want Peter obi to win but that doesn’t mean one shouldn’t be realistic as well.
Atiku is not in the equation.

Peter Obi running mate is from Kaduna.

El Rufai will fight for Tinubu.

Very soon you will all wake up. We will never vote a liar, a scam, to be our president. You will lose. No Hausa or Fulani will vote you.
Hausa Fulani could not make Buhari president from 2003 to 2014 before South helped him.

I lived in the North and some Hausa Fulani are already campaigning for Obi.

Only people supporting a mediocre Governor say this. If Obi is competent, list his significant achievements. I prefer an employee to multiply my money even if he takes some than for him to return same amount to me. Only a leader without innovation use saving money as a campaign tool. Shameful for a Governor of 8 years!

Let's face it now or never.... considering the tribal politics we play in Nigeria and Africa as a whole ,Pls can anyone give me reasons Igbos believe Hausas and fulanis in their right senses will vote for Peter Obi an Igbo man huh
If Hausa and Fulani alone could make a candidate president, Buhari would have been a president since 2007.

SmartPolician:
If Peter Obi really wants to be president, Labour Party should be willing to pay people who will work for the party. If possible, set up an account where Nigerians who really want to rescue this country can raise funds. Running presidential election takes a lot of money anywhere in the world.

And for the fact that APC has weaponized poverty in Nigeria, it is easy for them to give voters peanuts and buy their conscience. Therefore, as for Labour Party, giving people gift items, no matter how little, as a way of encouraging them to vote for party during campaigns (not on election day) is not a bad idea.
He will surely do that. Campaign has not started.

I am perfectly sure age will be used to automatically screen candidates out in this program.
For obvious reasons.
Age is a big criteria for so many purposes in shell.
What is the age bracket in Shell?

It should be in the job requirements. Pls check.
They normally say the age ranges.
Even sometimes the years of graduation ranges will be set. Just check properly.
It was not stated.
Sometimes those things are mentioned ti reduce the number of applicants.
I have seen a 33yr old recruited for entry level job.

I don't like this system. It doesn't reward merit.
My dear, me too.
They claim that what a man can do, a woman can do better but why drop the bar to accommodate females.
In my place of work, I am always given the difficult task. My boss will always tell you that you are the man. However, the ladies earn same salary with you and even get promoted before you.
It is the ladies world.

You should have. Because if you passed the assessment, the next thing is that shell begin to have deep interest in you, they will peruse your CV to see who truly you are. For those who cannot pass the assessment, they may not bother to look at any CV. If you passed their assessment and didn't submit CV,they will called you to submit it asap and other documents they may need.
Even in my present work, I didn't include State of origin, date of birth etc in my CV. I just feel it is not necessary since it is a merit based organisation. I submitted my birth certificate after I have gotten the job.

Yes.
Then other criteria like gender, quota system, medical are still there for you to scale.
Good to know.

Of recent, gender balancing is gaining interest where I work. However, the lady must have proven herself in the course of recruitment.

For instance, if they need 8 candidates and 10 males score 75% and above while one of the ladies scored 55%. 3 guys will be dropped to bring her in.

ExpertNLer:
He's correct with balancing things like gender and federal character. For anything that has to do with the NNPC - including the Nigerian operating companies of Multinational companies, Federal character must be considered. It is the law in the oil and gas industry. That is not to say that's the first thing they will consider. The first thing they will consider is merit. Before they now ensure that it is balanced over gender and regions. Mind you while Shell is Dutch owned, the nigerian operating company is registered as Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production Company (SNEPCo) and Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC).

If you check that advert, you will see the the logo of NNPC at the bottom of the page, saying Shell is the operator of the NNPC/AGIP/Shell JV. If you have access to all newspaper adverts of any oil and gas company that is an operator - you will also see it there. The poster is 100% correct when it comes to what they are balancing.

If you recall the recent Total E&P Nigeria application, They also asked for state of origin in the application because of that reason.
I am just learning and comparing with what is obtainable where I work.

It is well. We will continue to pray that any criteria used will favour us.

There is zero nepotism.
Guy, in an applications thats is more than 100k,with many Nigerians with excellent overseas and local certificates, first class with masters around the world, you think qualifications is still problem?
Our guys are applying all over the world. From ivory universities.
To fill 50 to 100 slots is not a matter of academic qualifications alone or how competent you are sir. Competencies are plenty.Other criteria follows.
Competence here means your performance in test and interview, your CV, knowledge, achievements and skills and not just educational qualifications.

How many do you think they will recruit?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Graduate Program 2022 - Nigeria by Polchiz(m): 9:36pm On Jul 27, 2022
ralphelo:
Yes i agreed, they also meet up the requirements.
Fot instance,if 5 southerners score 80% and 5 northerners scored 75%
And that department needs 5 candidates, they cannot just take all the southerners they must balance it.
All of them are qualified. And gender equality must be balanced.
That's why brilliant candidates sometimes don't make it. Its extremely competitive.
In Shell?

Okay o!

Here is 100% merit even if all of them come from the same village.

There so many successful northerners in shell graduate programs of the past years.
I am currently in shell and in fact i have many of them as friends male and female.
Shell will recruit 47 to 50% female and 50 % male in this program this year, for gender equality.
So its not only academic competency.
There are other things to balance.
That's why it's complicated.
I don't know much but I doubt if quota system will be considered.
The Northerners recruited got it on merit.

Some Northerners are very intelligent.
