LEKAN SALAMI STADIUM REOPENS TOMORROW

The re-modelled Adamasingba stadium in Ibadan is set to be commissioned by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State tomorrow evening with special matches scheduled to test-run the facilities in the stadium.

Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan(3SC) will play the inaugural match against Slovenia first division side, NK Tabor Sežana as part of festivities marking the reopening of the 33 year-old stadium.

According to The Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Culture and Tourism, Ademola Ige, during a tour of the facilities yesterday, the stadium, also known as Lekan Salami Sports Complex, will be the top revenue-generating source for Oyo State government and means of generating employment opportunities for the people of the State.

“This is part of the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde to make Oyo State a tourists’ destination,” Ige said.”So this sport tourism project is one of other areas of tourism locations in eco-tourism, natural tourism and food tourism that are well noted around the world, this stadium is situated within the heart of the capital of the State and can be easily located.”

Ordinarily, it takes me about 3-5 minutes to take my bath. But if I am to use the toilet as well, I use up to 10 minutes.

I was shocked when I saw a close aunty spent about 1 hour in the bathroom. I also have a friend that spends close to 30 minutes.
