freecocoa: Abi o, since majority of the people in aluu community are nice and will never kill, how come they weren't able to help those boys? For their chief the no1 person of that place to sanction the killing of those kids speaks volume about the values of that village, they fact that they are a wicked set of people cannot be ruled out.
actions speaks louder than words.my motto is ''don't tell me you are green when your actions are black''.

kaodili: Hmmmmm, did he not clearly condemn the acts of both the village head and his subjects. I think he is just saying that other communities in aluu where not involved ,what I think the man is saying is that not every Aluu indigene is barbaric in nature. Considering the general curses people have being screaming on the people of Aluu(which am also guilty of). I don't tink he is fine tuning anytin. Just tryn to exonerate his community from being generally termed evil. Cut him some slack biko.
The good people of aluu had all the time in the world to have prevent that ugly incident(it never happened).unlike other lynching incidents which is very short/spontanous,this case is an exception because it took several hours before the damage was done.A STITCH IN TIME FROM A GOOD ALUU INDIGENE WOULD HAVE SAVED FOUR INNOCENT SOULS THAT DIED BECAUSE OF A FALSE ALARM FROM THEIR DEBTOR.the time interval was just too much in this communication era.

musKeeto: You should have reserved the comments.
reasons?
CrimeRe: Elechi Amadi Defends Aluu Community by polokor60(m): 9:26am On Oct 19, 2012
i would rather reserve my comments,i do believe that a well educated man like amadi would not be in support of such barbarism that was perpetuated in his hometown, however these innocent students were paraded with unclothedness around the entire community for a long period of life before they were executed in the refuse dump site of aluu after the village head had passed a death sentence on them.the village head was invovled, the village head gave the command for their execution, the subjects(savages) of the village head carried out the execution in the dump site of aluu.dr amadi don't used your intellilent to fine tune this barbaric act and exernorated the savages you share the same community with, what is black is black and it can never be another colour.this was the tribalism i laid emphasis on in a previous thread.will the savages execute those innocent students if one them was a son of dr amadi?

I just hope the ones that used planks and burnt them get the death penalty. It sure wont bring the lads back but atleast it would bring some closure and consolation to the grieving families, the rioting students and to other concerned Nigerians like myself.

cap28: How about the chief did he take part in the lynching ? Why is he in police custody? Hvnt u heard of incitement? Or being an accessory?
may be incitement and defamation of character is no longer a crime how much more when it led to the lost of four innocent lives.some persons should be left to wallow in the figments of their imaginations.

His kind gesture to a cold hearted ingrate led to his untimely death alongside with his close friends in the hands of some blood tasty savages.they labelled these innocent young men as cultists/armed robbers and terminated their lives for no just cause.the reward for the kindness of this young lad(ugonna),his close friends chidiaka, lloyd and tekana was for them to be dehumanised(after a naked village parade),they never gave them a chance to defend themselves.at the end they were killed in the most barbaric manner.the heart of a man is desperately wicked.kindness--------> death.

kaodili: Aluu community has always being known for its wickedness, the events on Friday went futher to show it and this selfish remarks by their spokes person have further confirmed it all. 4 innocent students were killed on your soil and he comes out to blab that its nt Aluu people. I guess that means he knows who it is. No remorse,no apologies, all I see r threats. A reasonable person would atleast apologise and condemn such gruesome acts nd even pledge his support nd that of his community in fishing out the pepertrators of such acts.
arrogance is their watch word.very typical of them, you just summed it up.

Purist: I agree with eGuerrilla here. Tribalism is hardly a factor in such incidences. (Alleged) thieves are burnt almost daily in Lagos by fellow tribesmen, etc.
lagos state is more like a cosmopolitan city,if you have lived with an ikewre man before then you ll understand what i'm talking about.the likes of than guy hitting those students with a big stick may be the ones terrorizing the residents of aluu but they ll turn a blind eye because he is an indigene.
CrimeRe: Five Things I Learnt From The Aluu Debacle by polokor60(m): 8:13pm On Oct 12, 2012
eGuerrilla: I am almost certain tribalism was not a factor in Aluu.

If you have convincing evidence it was, please make this available.
if those students were aluu indigenes,a scarsh would not be found on their skin.them go just speak ikwerre, end of discussion.

CrimeRe: Manslaughter: Seven People, Including Infant, Shot In Guatemala (PHOTOS) by polokor60(op): 4:26pm On Oct 12, 2012
A clearly distressed Carlos Daniel Gonzalez is interviewed by local authorities about the gunmen who killed his parents and other relatives in the municipality of Villa Canales

CrimeManslaughter: Seven People, Including Infant, Shot In Guatemala (PHOTOS) by polokor60(op): 4:19pm On Oct 12, 2012
Six-year-old Carlos Daniel Gonzalez and his four-year-old sister Izabel survived by hiding from the killers as they shot dead their mother and father in the hamlet of 'Las Escobas' in Villa Canales municipality, Guatemala. In all, seven members of the Gonzalez family, including an eight-month-old baby and an eight- year-old boy, were slaughtered by the group of strangers. The killings are believed to have been over nothing more sinister than a row over land rights. After the bloody killings, the two terrified orphans returned to the crime scene with local authorities to explain what they had seen. According to watchdog International Crisis Group, Guatemala is one of the world's most dangerous countries, having a population of about 14million.
More than 96% of all crimes go unpunished in Guatemala, and corruption pervades all levels of government and the police. The country is overrun with violent gangs, and
violence is worst for the poorest people. The Guatemalan government reports that 6,500
people met violent deaths in 2009 and nearly 6,000 were slain in 2010. 41% of those deaths were linked to drug trafficking, while extortion was another common crime.
The Guatemalan Civil War ended in 1996 and the current president is Otto Pérez Molina, whose Patriotic Party won the 2011 election.source www.m.naij.com/news/11423.html
