I tried sending my scores this morning and discovered that ETS does not accept MasterCard for tests written in Nigeria. Please who can help me make the payment so I will transfer the cash.

This also works if the people over there give you good rates to exchange naira for dollar.

If they accept N360 for $1 for instance, that is better for TOEFL than using one's MasterCard because it amounts to N7200. But that same rate is still more expensive than BY MAFITs so it depends entirely on the rate.

I am very impressed with the GRE scores flying around in the past few days, congrat to u guys.

On the other hand, I have been able to apply to 4 schools out of 5/6 ( Stevens,Auburn,UT Austin and UC boulder) , getting recommenders to submit their recommendations is really a daunting task and its making it look as if my pursuit for higher education is impertinent. Albeit, I know it will end in praise.

I read on this thread that we can send our GRE/TOEFL scores via BY Mafit at a cheaper rate,unfortunately, effort to contact them proved futile. Can someone kindly tell me how I can go about sending my scores via BY Mafit, it's really urgent. biko

Haba, when Walspring's offer was on I was directing everyone I knew to him. Now that ponpon has his thing going, never a day passes by without me recommending him or the company in question.

I feel bad for Nigerians who pay N75k+ for an exam that they could have paid N50k or less for that is why I do it. I have no horse in this race.

The closing date for submission of supporting documents in the school I applied to is Jan 10.

If I write DEC 4 that means I have one week to prepare

If I write DEC 30th wouldn't it be too late cos closing date is Jan 10th

UNILAG is trying to make collection of transcript a full online process , no more individual appearance .. thats probably why so its students can send and receive transcripts easily..

The 20 hour work week rule isn’t a scam, there are only so many ICE agents. They expect you to have the integrity to adhere to the law without being monitored. The day you’re caught though, there is no begging and no amount of fasting and prayer will save you.

What did you expect? That they will give you money for free so you can party and take vacations? I guess that is why the country is successful, every dollar is accounted for, without fail.

You should not have an ish with that, no money is free, you have to work for it. $32000/year is like $2600/month. Let's say after tax you get to take $2300 home. If you are not the extravagant spender, you should be able to save $1000 monthly. In a year you get to save minimum of $10000. In 4yrs of Phd you get to save $40,000, that is enough to give a head start to any sensible person. So my friend, even if they want to collect one arm from you, it's worth it lol. What if you get in Virginia tech that pays about $4000, you should be willing to give a kidney if the program demands for it.lol
