Normally, our government aren’t proactive when it comes to infrastructure, they had every damn time to do that 3mb during corona virus period, but they ignored it, and still closed it for over year but couldn’t fix every damn potholes on the bridge, they will soon come again with closing that bridge for 6months to patch the potholes…

Imagine that apongbon bridge they closed for 18months, they couldn’t fix that gallop area before announcing the opening, they had to close it again for another 24hours to fix that part coz it looks shameful for them to close a major bridge for 18months and couldn’t seize that opportunity to fix every damage on the bridge…

I am not making excuses for them, no gain saying we have a bad leader. But in all fairness we have to look at things from other angles. Remember Ojota interchange used to be bad, if the fix it, it will spoil. The soil texture and every other factors need to be considered before they could get it right. It took long, but worth it. The Berger road they are fixing is already swallowing. Bad job they are doing so far, roads are not supposed to be constructed like that in raining season, but we self don tire.

If they have to work on the whole bridge, understand the basic and texture to do another work that will last for 40 years? I’ll stop driving.
