there is mad surge on indrive, forget what people are saying. I did just 4 trips on indrive yesterday and I was amazed.
I saw Pearl post, I just smile and needless the ups and downs. Bolt is sweet, no doubt, but Indrive ain’t that bad. Just pick a good trip and avoid traffic, you’ll be fine. I understand drivers on Bolt doing 14k for an 2 hours trip and such. On indrive learn to dash yourself surge. 3k from Berger to Ikeja, multiply it by 2 and time should not exceed 15mins. Surulere from Berger 8500. Just work, you’ll be fine.

Pathetic my car have been giving me overheating issue since last week. Like this 2 break discs and pads, water pump, alternator belt, 2 tyres and change of oil done this month.

Same attitude with Married folks. Once a person is married, he/she sees other singles as less privilege and immediately turn to senior adviser whose opinion on stuff even unrelated to marriage should be swallowed.

Typical Nigerian that has travelled abroad.
Easily throws Nigerians under the bus without considering other factors and conditions unique to us here.
Lol… I once said this, once people leave the country, it seems as if they see clearer than you and the way they put opinion is so condescending(maybe nah inferior complex they worry the people back home). That attitude of take it or leave it. What do I know? I shall know say a typical Nigerian person is not outrightly normal.

No lies bro, I miss bolt, but I doubt if can ever net 200k in 4 days on bolt. Honestly you never know what you are capable of doing until one door closes. I so much detest Rida and Indriver before, until I decided to solely focus on them., then I discover they actually more profitable. Forget surge and big earnings on Bolt dashboard. It doesn't really portray reality

Coca Cola is still doing advert because they understand the need for awareness. The total number of people using Indrive compare to the total populace of Nigeria still doesn’t give satisfactory job done. New uses register everyday. No gain saying Bolt is still a force and threat to any of them in Nigeria. A reasonable policy from any of them will have strong effect on the other.

Nonetheless, Indrive is been run by cartel of criminals. They know what they are doing, but they just don’t know the set of people they are messing with. Just a prototype with good customer care and it will be over for them. Total at Mobolaji Bank Anthony used to be King of filling station along that road until the the new filling station grab the crown from them.

Yesterday, got stopped by police on the ramp to express leading to china town if you're coming from ojota bus stop;

Policeman: hey, stop there!

Me: parked.

Policeman: looks inside and around the car (while me and my rider remain quiet).

Policeman: (asks me), are you Uber?!

Me: yes!

Policeman: you're a fake Uber, you don't look like an Uber driver.

Me: okay, sir.

Policeman: looks inside the car again.

Policeman: do Sunday for us nah, chairman (with smiles).

Me: nothing dey, sir.

Policeman: dey go.

Me: Thank you, sir.

These policemen are something else. I don't know how an Uber driver should look. angry

If it's on a Sunday i believe you. Because i did 40k with 12k fuel two Sunday ago. Sundays are special days.
Well I can do 50k with 12k gas, one thing I observe is good price, long trip and back to back trips as long as your engine doesn’t get cold or lock in unnecessary traffic.

Yesterday I did 26700 with 11k gas and the crazy part was it being short trips. I didn’t even pass ikeja to Magodo all thro yesterday as my car did overheating and I have to pulse for like 3 hours. I think stop for a long time inbetween driving makes the car to consume more gas.

I got a request (indrive) in phase 1. A very short distance, she puts 1900. I quickly parked to pick it before Glithronix (much respect) grin As I was about to pick, she has already increased it to 2500. Ehh! I picked, she accepted.
Madam: Please, will you go to ....... after this trip and how much together?
Me: I will, but let me check before charging you.
I checked after getting to indrive destination and came up with a good price which most riders will decline instantly.
Me: Madam, are you good with 5k, plus the initial 2k5, making 7500?
Madam: I will round it up to 8000
Me: Oh! Increased my AC to 3, make I give Madam Moscow treatment.
You won’t understand, the way riders on indrive have been increasing their price lately. I go just smile 😊 Pearl condemn, he don use una tire una eyes don clear. Anyway I am here for you.

When you start hearing bolt are mad and thieves, I can never use that app again. I’ll just be smiling inside. Everybody go deh ok sha

Are you sure of this your last statement? I'll rather assume that yuletide season usually witness alot of INFLOW from people coming back home .I am expecting atleast 10 of my guys/family and they usually come loaded, atleast to show off!! Usually with alot of INFLOW like that, dollar is expected to crash a little or atleast remain stable..My thought!!! Who is looking for dollar in December?
Close shop.

Dollar may still go up or down. Nothing real about this economy, they are just politicking. As long as we don’t have anything we are producing, our ostentatious craving and Jakpa/foreign school is still on the high side with low or nothing to export. Naira will continue to see shege, but buying dollars for December? Well! Make we deh look. Like Charly boy show, anything can happen.

CelebritiesRe: Naira Marley’s Statement On Mohbad’s Death: Four Talking Points by pope191: 10:23am On Sep 16, 2023
Watcharena:
there is some those going in to music in particular really need to understand, when someone sign you in to his record level or whatever they call it, that person is spending a lot of money to raise you from no where ,the young signee is like an investment to the owner of the record so he need to get his return on investment before you think of leaving the record.

Before they go into any record level they should sign agreement on how many years the new signee must stay in the company before he can leave,so that the owner can get his return on investment and both parties must stick to that agreement.

The boy wanted leaving about two years after he was signed by Naira Marley going by the nature of music industry that's very dangerous.

Still naira Marley might not be behind his death ,the best ways is to investigate
Do you have the agreement binding them? I understand music business to some extent and I get your view very well. The basic point should not be about him leaving or not, but their terms and conditions. In a country where there’s law, we should always learn to do the right thing.

Take a look at Mavin for instance. After the Mo hit issue and the way WC left, I think Don Jazzy stick more to terms and conditions. Even if artist wants to stay after, he barely give them attention.

I pray make nobody experience weytin agbero boys do me for Oshodi on Monday. May our vehicle not stop at Oshodi under bridge is a big prayer o. I payed 22k and loose a side mirror.
One of the problem I have with this government is they encourage a lot of crazy things for check and balance. Regardless, we are fast loosing our sense of humanity. Some times I wonder why I can’t have such heart as most people.

last year, I realized my oil dried up around Anthony, just right after the bridge. So I was trying to push it to a safe place before going to Mobil along that road to get oil. 2 aboki’s join me, we were able to push it to one of the street’s around Ismail Estate and before I could say Jack, 2 guys wrapping we*d came out. Oga your money is 20k, blah blah… you can call you mech and spend the whole day, no wahala. I try to explain myself and how I just need to get oil from the nearby Mobil. Their ok, no wahala ooze nothing but trouble. As guy man I start to rap in Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa. Offer to give them 1k, to the point of increasing it to 3k. They said they can’t go below 10k, as a car owner I should always set aside money for a day like this and accept fate whenever it happens. Hmmm! It is well.

My Aboki’s are still around. I look at them and ask what will it take for them to push the car to the garage as if one is going towards Oshodi. They ask me to find them anything. On getting to the garage? Lastma don join hand. Pope you don enter em today. Lastma start with his own questions, but their money is 5k as I can see his colleague is around. I just told him. Officer what I have here is 2k, I just want to get oil and be out of here. He didn’t stress it.

Naija my country, I hail!

Bolt is bringing a package to tackle Indrive.. The economy category.. they will charge 10% on that plan..
That means Indrive really impacted their revenues..
Ah swear, Indrive is raving mad lately. Almost same price when gas was subsidized. Well I know there’s low turn out of riders, but the price is so demeaning. The one that piss me off the most is the stops. Indrive need to remove that nonsense. I don’t think drivers should go on strike, but just over look trips on indrive like for 2 days, their head will straight.

I never disputed the fact that we have good cops… but their is a law here and orders. Why will I be in need of help and emergencies and all the police/officials back home could do was to extort me.

Do you know indirectly we’re paying for these peoples salary by renewing our road permit licenses and all.

Road safety is doing the same job police is doing.

VIO same, Lastma, LNSC as join them too so many agencies including task force. Bro many things is totally wrong with my country. You wouldn’t know this until you leave.
All these ones doesn’t even pain me. At least we know them for who they are. Ordinary Nigerian will help push car off the road and wait behind. Before you know, they will get stone, ask if you want water, by the time they name their bill. I don’t want to say humanity is far from us, but it just have to do with poverty sha. We have a poor mindset and reasoning. Every situation is a chance to take advantage of one another.
