dapotemi: Quite hilarious coming from a driver... Losing one mind is a terrible thing. The people around you ignoring your vulnerable state is one of the worst thing that can be sum as man unkind to mankind. So I’ll overlook your ignorance. Else, it becomes a case of two insane folks. Check for the meaning of “Reprobate Mind”. That’s the state you are right now. It can only be reset by a therapist. If you or the people around you let it linger more, you’ll get to soliloquize stage and from there to the stage where you start hurting flies as appetizer. I hope people out here put you in prayer. That’s another man wasting away so fast. Substance abuse I guess. For need of therapeutic! Who in his right sense will say this economy is the same with the previous. Like think about it? Calculate the cost of food stuffs, how much you spend on fuel weekly and stress of even being able to get it. How much were they selling cars during GEJ era? How many wedding events do one observe lately? No gain saying the economy is in a state of shame and limbo, where we can’t even differentiate our left from right. I careless the pity you support, but don’t try to play on people intelligence. That’s an insult to the already pains people are facing. Dapo take your medication and you’ll be fine. |

dapotemi: There is NOTHING that I am experiencing now that is new... Honestly I am yet to see any "new suffering"...lol Why I agreed that things are bad, we should not be acting as if it was any better off before...I am not sure we were enjoying before... Everything I have achieved, I STRUGGLED to get it, year before, years after and NOW! More reasons why I don't VOTE!!! I know quite well that Nig situation is beyond redeemable and you voters are just wasting your time, reason for the tears every four years since 1999!! Politics is not my forte, as much as I can, I avoid discussing it because I don't like what it does to seemingly intelligent people... Very early in life, I learnt that people who are trying to vote out a thief sef na THIEF!!!! I’ll advice you take out time to check your mental state. Don’t know if there’s a machine that does that, but on the honest side, it is necessary you do. |

How much was the evaporator you bought? 40k I’ve spent way above 100k, but costly mistake by those guys. They don’t calm down to fix things and end up making one to fix another problem. I have bought belt twice now. One they put belt on alternator. I was just hearing that stupid sound around 10 and so tired to do anything. I managed to get the car home and by the time I drove to mech place, belt was far gone. In all of these, I come deh petty for people wey deh use Camry. I pray they don’t see ac issue. |

Pearl1910: Lolz... U know the code na. AC needs gas before u know u don spend 200k to put gas. Wetin my eyes don see for AC matter this year, my mouth no fit talk em finish. Still on it. On a very good day, my gas just go down. Felt there’s a leakage somewhere, so I went to the repairer place and he search thro. He couldnt see leakage checking thro the pipes. So the culprit should be the evaporator. He removed it and we weren’t crystal clear on it. Let’s just change it, he said. After 3 days of doing that, gas out again. So I calm down and check thro myself, only to realize there’s hole in the pipe the power steering oil bottle is resting on. Fixed it and use the ac like two week. Then, I start observing noise from the compressor. When it’s not on, the plate will be rolling and making some kind of funny sound. Logically, I have to use ac to stop the noise, till it became unbearable. 23k went down the drain for that. Used it for some time, but frequently have fuse cuts, till I use wire to bridge fuse on a day I was rushing to meet up with some things and the compressor fried last month. Oga compressor don go, we go buy another one, change drier and flush the system. I get choice? Ac was mad and we thank the lord. After a week, I don’t understand the blowing, top gas and after 2 days nothing. They didn’t tight this discharge hose well. Oya! Take it out and change the rubber, refill gas… I didn’t even get to Yaba from ikeja and the thing don show em color. Change ac man, he have to bring everything out. We agree to change hose and the compressor seal was leaking. Took it back to the guy that changed it and the seller told him, he can’t take it back, but will fix the leaking seal. No wahala, just make it work. Do did it and before I got home, no gas again 😂 Another man now. Let’s check the condenser. See let’s just change it, so we did. Drove from surulere to island. Perfect, my hands couldn’t even stand it. On my way back, ac did not work cha cha. I use smile enter house. Next morning, I tried it and it seem manageable, but I observe ac won’t blow while in motion, but a bit chill while in traffic. About last night, it wasn’t effective at all, but feels ok this morning. I’m suspecting the compressor, but right now strength no deh me. So anything gas need to be top? My hand no deh atall 😂 peace tho, not out to knock any man hustle. |

You need to dis virgin your passport before applying to US US visa is one of the easiest to get cos it’s plainly psychology they don’t need to verify your bank account or school fees, unlike Canada and UK. Pls travel to France or Dubai first and apply for US and see if they won’t give you. You also needs to emphasis about your strong tie in Nigeria, don’t sound like you wan Jappa the interviewers are psychologist you go whine dem small. Barbiturate: Bro, I love the fact that you try to encourage drivers to Japa, but do you know how hard it is to get a visa.....I'm not even talking about the high amount, but the number of people they deny on a daily basis is so alarming.
I've been rejected 3 times at US embassy. 1stly, it was through school(masters). My cousin paid some good amount of the tuition but I was denied visa.
2ndly, It was an invite from him(cos he's a citizen) I was denied still. Even his nurse wife that is based in Nigeria, has not gotten the visa, with all the filing!
3rdly, it was his friend whose daughter wanted to wed. The guy sent me invitation as a cousin to the girl. They are all citizens. I was still denied. Omo, I gave up!
It's really not easy bro. My cousin spent a whole lot for the school stuff.
You go just dey talk this thing like say if you just go, dem go stamp U visa I stopped replying Baze on this matter, because it seem like using one effort to mock them. Who really wants to wake in the morning, put ignition and start driving up and down. If things work out for you, the rest people will seem both physical and intellectual lazy and nah careful man deh observe. Should one bring or write all his problems on Nairaland, so people like Baze will see that one is trying his/her best? Many people get problems. Barbiturate: Omo police makes so much money from yahoo boiz o! Picked 2 guys from that train station at yaba. Map showed me oyingbo-iddo. Police stopped us after iddo, trying to make a U-turn to Eko bridge apongbon. The police oga didn't even search their bags. He just collected one of the guy's phone and searched through. I was already angry cos they were delaying me. They found fraud activities on the phone and told me to drive to their office, after contain. I refused and told them to take them in their car and allow me go. They asked if I don't want to collect my money, I said No. That I picked them from the train station and they are going to landmark. I can't collect any money now. Their oga begged me and I later succumbed. To cut the long story short, we got there and they collected 500k from these guys. Their money is about 7k. They transferred 20k to me when I got to landmark. The police oga collected my number at the station and sent me a text to send my account. I sent it and he transferred 20k to me. I actually felt bad for the guys but I blamed them for leaving such info in their phone. Boss! Please, next time don’t send your account or take such offer. I am not asking you not to go with them, but if you have any transaction, it is with your rider and not with the police. If anything should go wrong tomorrow, you’ve exposed yourself as an accomplice. Right is right and left is wrong in this case. There’s no wrong way that leads to right. The police men are not magistrate to judge how a case should end. I was in this situation on Sunday. Sacrifice for these craz* bastard, instead they found fulfillment in saying it’s not their business. How did it happened? Got a request from Sweet sensation Yaba for 3700. The guy was going to ebutte Meta and the map picked a long route. I knew once I climb the bridge, I’m done with the trip. So he ask me to take him back to same place, but know with additional boys and I bill them to round it up to 8500 reluctantly. They agreed and just felt like trip of 24 mins in total for 8500? Not bad, let me run it. One request I go thro train station. I don’t like the road, so I stuck on turning into Kano road via Oyingbo. Lo and behold we saw our Oga’s at the round about and they start talking and murmuring. Deep within, I knew we can’t scale thro and I am not ready for all these stop and such of 4 persons. I just face iddo road. Had to go make a turn at Tejuosho and all they could say to each other is “shebi nah Indrive”. The price no go kuku change. I didn’t even bother exchanging words with them. |

His intentions maybe for real. Howbeit, there are rules of engagement in all we do. One should be above don’t be stupid at some point in life. The japa thing prompt me to type. Why you? Don’t he have people around him for ages, cleaner, gateman, staffs that he is indebted too in one way or the other? Jakpa sha! To what country? On visit, school or Pr. Did you weigh the cost of each? If it is visit, can’t you afford it? Instead of hanging around someone you barely know over such? Atleast, I have 2 client that has been putting me on japa pressure. Even to the point of willing ti pay for passport. They pay for their service when rendered and the only promise they made was, if I am willing… They can help me with how to go about it and assist financially. They didn’t say they will pay thro, but be of help if necessary, but u should really consider the move. Like I said, it maybe real or not, be careful and use your tongue to count your teeth.
