THE GOLDEN RULE Our problem as a nation is not much about competence but that of character deficit. It's not about our political affiliations but that of our character. Not much about religious beliefs or sentiments we share, but it's a matter of our character. Nigeria issues are not much either we are being governed by the military or the civilians but a lack of good character. It's not about either we practice Presidential, Parliamentary or Unitary system of government but largely about our character. It's not about our multi - lingual or multi - cultural differences but that of our character as a people. Neither is it about not having enough education , but our character. It's not due to lack of human and natural resources, to get us out of the quagmire we found ourselves but our character. The list of course is endless, and the solution is simple, going forward, let everyone of us keep to this rule, " do to others what you wished to be done to you" Then we would experience Peace and live in the Nigeria of our dream. |

NEW COVID 19 UPDATES Permit me to say, at this juncture of incessant killings by the Herdsmen, Bandits and the terrorists respectively in the country. That the federal government should have a regular press briefing similar to that of COVID 19, as a matter of priority. Whereby, those kidnapped (similar to having COVID) would be announced. Those that have paid ransom and released (similar to being discharged from COVID "custody ' i. e hospital) Then those that are killed by these devilish groups, similar to those that died by COVID 19. The simple reason is that, in Nigeria those that are killed due to insecurity are far more than those killed by COVID as at today. This data would help the government to know either they are winning or not. However, the government can deceive Nigerians, they cannot deceive the terrorists. |
GOVERNMENT IS MISPLACING PRIORITY Permit me to state categorically, that if the Nigerian government believes COVID - 19 is real, then logically, the government is placing NIN registration, National Identification card and Sim card issues above the we'll being of average Nigerian. Because, of pressure and ultimatum the government is putting on the registration, citizens are forced to be crowded at the centers, which are grossly inadequate, in a rush to meet with the deadline. Without any doubt, several lives have been lost due to insecurity. This decision by the government is like a calculated attempt to spread COVID 19 among the citizens. Therefore, the government should please suspend, the issue of NIN for now. |
SPECIAL ATTENTION This piece of information may be useful for you if you are driving within the Lagos metropolis. In case any LASTMA, Police or any security officer ask you to drive through BRT lane or drive on one way, I beg you don't comply. Especially, because of the construction work going on. Which have resulted into heavy vehicular movements. Or you ensure that you you have an evidence. If you have to. I wouldn't know if it's a new method for raising funds after the #ENDSARS protest. But I can tell you categorically that, hundreds of people are forfeiting their vehicles right now or paying heavily to the state government. |

In my own opinion, I think it's the Nigerian government that is heating the polity more than necessary. The same mistake of deployment of military to the toll gate which have triggered current situation is what's happening again. Truly "looting" is going on across the country, but for God's sake, is the Nigerian Police, Civil Defense, DSS, and sister agencies not capable of handling the situation? I pray in a short while we would not be debating about the military brutality again. |
Are you speaking for the military that they carried out the despicable act. Or telling the world that the Lekki protest point was violent? And the best option was to use live bullets? No matter what, God is watching. |
Even, as the Nigerian military have totally denied their involvement in the shooting of peaceful protesters in Lekki toll gate area. Which may have angered some people to take laws into their hands. The question begging for answers is that, are there no longer police in Lagos anymore? That they couldn't stop destruction of lives and properties. Unfortunately, we can't see the mobile police the IGP deployed.. |
It's needless investigation the attack on peaceful protesting young Nigerians. Firing live bullets is not the best option in this regard. Secondly, the government had shifted the curfew to 9pm, unfortunately the attack came before curfew time. Meaning, the government did not give some of them the benefit of leaving the protest ground before the attack. This very sad and unacceptable. |

It's unfortunate that people play politics on lives in this country. The Nigerian Police is still functional. However, those that want SARS should please request. SARS is not not The Nigerian Police. |
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another :and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Heb 10:25). Greetings to Christians in Lagos. Kindly bear with the choir today, because it's been a while. The church environment too may not be the way its used to be. However, we are together again. Glory be to God. |
The welfare of the citizens is what the president swore to ensure. Sincerely, they are numerous, however, my greatest concern is that the president has failed in his area of strength as a retired army General. This is a clear case, when the government best is not good enough to secure people lives and properties. The nation will progress when we are realistic. |
It's unfortunate that "ONE NIGERIA" is a wish rather than a reality. However, we should be humble enough as a people and be realistic to ourselves that this present arrangement is not substanable. |
[left]THE PEOPLE's REPUBLIC OF COMEDY The memory of the legendary of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, song, "Suffering and Smiling ' came to mind, during the on going NDDC probe. In my observation I discovered that, Nigeria needed to change her name To the People's republic of Comedy. When an highly educated individual could tell the world that, over $9 billion found in his house was a gift from friends. This is a country where monkeys and snakes are "nairavorous/dollarvorous". Few weeks ago, the military gave us a hope that terrorists have met their waterloo. In fact the question was either they would grant their leader amnesty or not, as he was then ready to surrender, was on the public domain. But, within a short period of time, the Nigerian military is being bombarded by the terrorists. To the extent that about 365 soldiers resigned. An occurrence I found very strange and sad. Honestly, I challenge the Nigerian youths like my humble self to engage the political elites in an intellectual discussion on the social media platform, which a large number of young people have the mastery of. I am afraid that if we continue to smile and make fun of grievous offences against divinity and humanity being committed by some political elites we are not sure of living a good legacy for generation unborn. In summary, let us identify some of the problems or challenges facing us as a Nation and proffer solutions. SomehowSomeday someone in the corridor of power may find your contributions worthy to consider. |
May God continue to bless daddy. No matter how much you try, nobody can please the world. Not even Jesus Christ. |
Basic Questions to answer. Mat 7:24-29 (1) The question of perspective. (2) The question of Timing. (3) The question of process (4) The question of Foundation. (5) The question of knowledge. Life is full of challenges from inception to birth till death. However. your knowledge about God's word would go a long way to help in the time of crisis |
