In addition to your point, GMB's government should ensure governance is made less attractive. That way, it'd only take those who truly want the most vaunted change dabble into politics in the first place. The salaries and the other perks of office should be slashed by at least 70 percent. May Allah make it possible for him. Amin!

Col Abubakar Dangiwar Umar if he's still alive

Edited: a little bit about him

He's the brave kano Prince who though a diehard IBB boy, looked IBB in the face and told him he was wrong on the case of the annulment of June 12 1993 elections. He was military governor of Kaduna state and is reputed to have made the statement "I can follow IBB to war blindfolded" to show how much he believed in IBB as a general.

He lost his commission because he refused to support the annulnent or Abacha's takeover of govt instead of handing over to MKO. Rumour has it that he would have been killed if not because he was a blue blood. All these despite his famed dislike of MKO whom he viewed as arrogant but he insisted justice and fairplay demanded MKO be sworn in even if he was a devil

He left the Army and government unceremoniously, a simple man without money or scandal. The last I heard of him is that he was into poultry farming. I think gej offered him chairmanship of one probe committee in 2011 but umar declined.
Very thoughtful of you. I love and admire the guy because of his untainted stance on fairness and equity. The man will surely nip corruption in the bud if chosen to head the Efcc .

@MayorofLagos.

Chill dude. We want good governance decent and detribalised Nigerians know Buhari can deliver. We cannot be like the vile PDP who spread hate and division to thrive. Some bigoted Igbos may have made it their mission to support GEJ blindly but I urge you not to make it about them. I wish you will celebrate the likes of Berem, Cleverly, Pa Eziachi, ObiagellI, Gen Buhari and many other Igbos who have stood for the good governance of Nigeria consistently and uncompromisingly to the extent of being ostracised by others . GEJ has divided us horribly but we will have to heal as a people and not lose our humanity because of him. Good governance must remain our agitation and not a hollow search for 'payback'.
Brilliant! May God bless you! Please let's all eschew tribalism and hatefilled comments. May God grant the incoming president the wisdom to right the many wrongful conducts wrought on the polity by Jonathan .Amen.

This country is SO sick!!!
I just finished reading a post on Nairaland where GEJ awarded multi billion naira contract to the Agberos(OPC) who are popularly known as the nuisance of Lagos state.

They steal your money in daylight(daylight robber)

They are the majority under the bridge, not going to school at all(like the Hausa Almajiris).

OUR GEJ bypassed the 40 million unemployed graduates of Nigeria to award contracts worth billions of dollars to 'dullards'

OUR GEJ built 12 more universities which amounts to four to seven years waste of time after secondary school + 1 year NYSC time wasting; but he didn't remember to increase employment rate for graduates.

OUR GEJ refused to increase Corpers' allawee to 38k so that our youth can save 19k monthly out of it and use such to start business after service year; but instead, they kept hosting seminars on entrepreneurship. Okay, let's say u are collecting 19k allawee. U eat #200 per time, so #600 per day × 30 days. You spent #18,000 per 30 day months and #19,000 per 31 day months, without money for toiletries, cosmetics, shoes, clothes, etc.

OUR President empowers militants all over the nation(bribe) and left the literate graduates out of his plan. He made it seem as if being a vandal is a good job that pays in the long run.

OUR President made it seem as if going to school in the north is improper since he wouldn't protect the few going to school there (the CHIBOK'S GIRLS).

OUR PRESIDENT will soon grant BOKO HARAM amnesty, offering them billions of naira, but we graduates remain without good jobs.

ONLY A BLIND GRADUATE AND CORPER WILL VOTE YOU (GEJ) INTO POWER THE SECOND TIME.

I HAVE DECIDED!!!

Pls be a part of those who shares this truth
May God bless you forever! Sai Buhari!!!

I love this, just got it as text and it's has a deep meaning Nigerians please think before you vote!!!!!!

NO Pastor, Imam, Babalawo, Oba, Obi, Emir, Obong, Chief, Militant etc can tell me who to vote for, NEVER!....

I bear the brunt of unemployment, not the Pastor....

I suffer epileptic power supply, not the Imams.....

When my landlord increases house rent, the Oba will not send me money to augment it.....
When medical bills needs to be paid, I won't see the Obi....

When armed robbers show up in my neighborhood, the Emir won't be there to rescue me...

When time comes to pay exorbitant private school fees for my children because public schools that produced the likes of Soyinka, Chinua Achebe are derelict, no Militant will come to my rescue...

The roads leading to Obong's palace are bad, he has not done anything about it, how can he help me?

Exchange rate has plumeted while the economy worsened yet the Babalawo suffers in silence with me ad he is unable to use his juju to make our economic problems disappear...

My siblings and the children of the Chief who are graduates for the past 8 years have remained unemployed while he is powerless to help them...

So I alone will decide WHO IS MAKING ME GO THROUGH ALL
THESE HARDSHIP, AND USING MY PVC TO TERMINATE HIS TENURE, IF I DON'T LIKE HIS POOR HANDLING OF GOVERNANCE!
Brilliant!

I hate to say this but Nigeria is doomed for good if we let this opportunity of buhari presidency fritter away out of these nonexistent sentiments!
But by His grace , no weapon fashioned against him by the enemies of Nigeria shall prosper because he's chosen by the almighty to redeem Nigeria to her potential glories!.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Vs Buhari: How They Stand In 36 States, FCT - VANGUARD by popson1(m): 4:09pm On Mar 23, 2015
PassingShot:
The summary of this is given below:

PDP is projected to win in 13 states: Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, Enugu, Abia, Delta, Bayelsa, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Ondo, Benue and Taraba

APC is projected to win in 16 states: Ogun, Osun, Oyo, kwara, Niger, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe and Borno.

The following states (eight) are too close to call: Edo, Lagos, Benue, Plateau, Ekiti, Nasarawa, Adamawa and I will add FCT in the list.

Going by this analysis, GMB will win the election on the following facts:

1. He is expected to record outright win in 16 states while GEJ should win outrightly in 13 states.

2. The states GMB is projected to win have more votes than GEJ's states.

3. Even if GEJ wins all the eight too-close-to-call states, GMB will record at least 40% of the votes there. The win margin for GEJ (assuming he wins all of them) will be very narrow because they are states that can be won by either of them.

4. With six of the eight toss-up states marginally won by GEJ (big assumption), his total states won will be 19 (13+6) while GMB wins in 18 states with additional 40% to 50%% in the spring states. The implication of this scenario is that GMB will record more popular votes and will have equally secured more than 25% in 2/3 of the 36 states of the federation (i.e wins in 16 states, 40%-50% in 8 states, and at least 25% in Imo, Rivers, Ondo and Taraba which are projected for GEJ's win).

Therefore, however it turns out in the too-close-to-call states, GMB will be declared the president based on more popular votes.
Sound judgement! Sai Buhari!!!

Ma'm if you jailbreak your phone, the above limitations will disappear

I can transfer files via Bluetooth with other phones

I can attach files in mails & send

I can lock individual apps

There are good app stores for jail broken devices, apps u would have bought can be gotten free, no hidden or extra charges

you can download virtually any stuff u want & play so many file format be it music or videos

There is even an app that allows u partition ur iPhone, one partition runs on IOS while the other on android

the list goes on
I think I need your help here. Please help a brother in dire need of your assistance. Pleaseeeee. I have an iPhone 6 plus and using the phone seamlessly as androids seems like a rocket science. Once again, thanks immensely.

I just got an iPhone 6+ as a gift. Compared with my note 3, the phone is simply nauseating! Customization is zero, transferring files between other phones is almost impossible, and there're restrictions here and there! But for poise and picture quality, I don't see anything special in iPhone. The phone is grossly overpriced and overhyped! Now some guys have mentioned how they're practically using the phone as the androids, if I may ask, how are they squeezing water from the stone? I wish to explore if truly possible. Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Was Not Arrested: The True Story by popson1(m): 10:24am On Mar 22, 2015
It baffles me that pdp and its bands of paid liers are hellbent on smearing the unblemished image of the peoples" General. Please be informed that no matter how hard you try, Buhari cannot be stopped because he's God"s project chosen to revamp Nigeria to her destined glories.
For all I care, Jonathan could start spraying dollars all over the country from the airplanes for votes, he won't be reelected because his time is over.
If there's one thing Nairaland has promoted, it's undoubtedly, hatred, intolerance and disharmony among its mass of subscribers and by extension , a mockery of the Nation . Seun and his mods should as matter of urgency address this ugly trend. Topics that fuel hatred and disharmony should not be encouraged let alone moved to the front page.
Nigeria shall rise again! Say Buhari!!!
