I will advice u go off the boot cream and Johnson soap for now...

go natural, try to use shea butter,original one. U can try Chicco bath and stop d Johnson soap also....
if u use powder, go off it for now...

No challenge at all, baby is doing fine. yes Nigeria,republic of Kwara,Ilorin.

university of Ilorin teaching hospital..
for epidural budget,,,I used NHIS...
budget like 20k... private hospital u will spend like 100k sha or more...

my birth story..
on d 29th of March which was Thursday. I was normal self, did all necessary chores cos d girl of 17 yrs has not been helping matter at all. she gives more headache than relief..
I loosed my hair wit d intention of relaxing it but no light so I slept off.
I woke up around 5 and went to bought fish at a trekkable distance from house. I got home cooked stew and lie down back in d sitting room. I just started feeling unsual.. felt sick,gad headache, and was feeling serious kicks from baby inside. I was so uncomfortable that I had to call one of my doc dat night and she told me to come down to d hospital.

we got dia, I was checked and my pulse was found to be high. wit oda complaint I laid i was admitted on account of malaria plus preterm contraction at 35 weeks
the hospital environment wasn't palatable for me oo so I requested for discharge based on d promise by d admitting doc and all of d doc started turenchi

They r not ready to discharge me and I can't stay due to reason dat cannot be disclosed... Hospital issues sha

So I called a consultant I know who told me to handed over fone to any doc I saw on ground which I did and he instructed them to discharge me... then I was 35weeks 3days

on getting home, I decided not to use d nifedipine I was placed on for preterm contraction.
the next morning I saw show. ok

despite being a second time I didn't waste time oo cos I wanted epidural analgesia. labor without pain..
when I got to d hospital was checked and 2cm dilated wit poor effacement.

I know wot can be used, I talked with d docs bit dey didn't want to answer me.
One of d doc eventually raised it that I shld be inducted, I wasn't bothered of d pain cos of my plan of epidural.

induction started on Sunday at 11:20am. it wasn't up to 30 mins I started feeling contraction. so I didn't waste time. I called the anaesthetist that wanted to give the epidural and he spoke with his colleagues.

Everything worked as planned. The anaesthetist has been waiting for me before I was transferred to labor ward.
when I was checked 4 hours after I was 5cm gone. so the epidural process commenced and was successful. come and see me flexing with my colleagues in the labor ward..

I was monitoring my contraction mysef. Anytime d doc came to monitor, he will pass comments that my contraction is very strong and good.

one of dem was like dis kind contraction without oxytocin that they Imagine d drama I will have performed if I wasn't on epidural.

I was checked again around 6:20pm and d doc said am fully dilated but head has not engaged.

15mins after,, I felt something tickling at my perineum and I called one of d nurse and she said i shld hold on that I was just checked and I heard what the doc said that after all I understand.

I insisted she checked and head of baby was already on d perineum.
with d second push my prince came out at 6:45pm on the 1st of April weighing 2.5kg..

thanks to mumsgirl and other team member for always remembering me even though time does not permit me to be as active as planned.
I wish all Preggy mama safe delivery and TTC fruit of the womb...

My prince charming arrived today at 6:48pm. Edd is 2nd of may. porters Club...April 1st baby. Mother,baby and daddy doing fine.

Good morning mama, I am team May by God's grace. I have been having yeast infection and have complained severally was given a drug to insert in my V and also given a cream to use yet it still persists. Please who has gone through this and what was used. Please don't Waka pass.

Can't say mine was actually yeast infection. but for the past four weeks now or more than, have been battling with clitorial itches, I guess it was due to the increase in vaginal discharge coupled with increase vascularity.

what I Normally do is sitz bath with salt and warm water. and it do relief me.

I complained to my doc during visit and he advised i should continue with it and I preferred it to drug. you can give it a trial plus it soothes u as well

I checked my first baby's wears that I packed and I was amazed seeing my handwork. u will rarely bliv hv used dem.
.I think I will stick to my nobody will help with baby's clothes washing..

hmmm Edd according to lmp is 2nd of may which is hubby birthday.I doubt if I can wait till den. As God wills I will try membrane sweep when we are 37 weeks. As I did for my first.

And please how many mamas have went tru epidural in labour and how was it. I have d plan of using it and have informed my team doctors and the plan is on around.

And on diaper,,,how many mamas have tried baby hug, tujour and bleirre... those diapers are bae. try them and come and testify.

Good morning my efamily.. Am fully back after long break. I had to stay off line cos of my exam and I also had to quit my job cos I can't cope with the job plus impromptu exam. have not spent a year and I was told am not entitled to any short leave.
Team May 2 from the three scan done which is hubby bday but am sure I will give birth before then as things dey go. likely to port to April...

hmmm,,,sebi u dey tell people to religiously take it. I kukuma dey health educate plenty preg woman on it but for it is a no no. I just pray God should protect the Baby for me. on smelling it sef nausea and vomiting will start... most especially folic acid.. my hospital don't have pregnacare and laziness after work no gree me look around for it...

Please mamas that have done membrane sweep before what was the outcome and why was it done?
I went for antenatal yesterday 39+3 by lmp and my gynea decided to do membrane sweep for me after he asked if I wasn't feeling anything and I said nothing apart from mild contraction.
Then he said he will check me only for him to do membrane sweep for me.

membrane sweep was done for me for my first pregnancy. Is also a means of inducing labour.
reason was because I was 37 weeks gone already and my team don't want me to fall into labour in d weekend period cos dia was strike but they already promised me to come since I was dia students den... Abdominal pain started few minutes after,, followed by mild contraction like 4 hours which becomes intense.
I had my baby within 18 hours or so after

But we still prefer the Baby hugg cos I noticed it is better when compared with asda little angel,absorb more and has elastic at the back........
