6months is still much better. mine returned 6 weeks post partum and am still experiencing menstrual cramp.. the last one I did was even much painful.. though reduced compared to before I got pregnant....

@giddyperson, can I use d bleach for the floor tiles as I don't like the way I met the tiles where we stay...I washed my wall tiles with iron sponge,,,hard sponge and scouring powder...I also rinse with another soft sponge...

mama that asked about savlon on baby please discontinue it use... it will do more harm than good. in addition to swallowing risk other mamas has mentioned.. it will start killing the normal microflora the skin needs for defense by the immune system, posing the baby to risk of infection... Infact antibacterial soap and all are discouraged....

to mama that said a nurse told her to lay baby down on tummy as early as that,,, I doubt if the person is a nurse for real or doesn't know what she is saying...
the thing my eyes eyaff see for private hospital and hiring of diff people to wear white n be dia nurse ehn, I pity people... it is just a pity for my profession cos this so called Doctors are spoiling it d more all in the name of cheap labor and cutting cost....
Beware and if possible request for ur nurse license....

@myrygurl... Huggies is of 2 types. which of the two..we have the one in red and yellow pack which is the SA own and the other one in a transparent sealed nylon which was removed from the main carton of 4 or so...it the USA own..

well,, I don't know the difference between the red and yellow nylon type but have used the red then when lo was just given birth to, it was ok bit of recent when I used d yellow pack own it was wack.....

but the USA own was dope just that it is expensive....

I was offered a job at a private hospital last month...on getting dia I realized am d only nurse cos dos people d MD called nurses are actually not Registered nurse,,,and is one of them that is d head.. see my life after 9 good years in the university..

I realized our pay is just a chicken change difference... see my life outside on top am tired of staying indoor....
The practice there sef am not comfortable with it cos I was not trained to practice like a substandard Nurse. This people have been tot various methods of doing things that is not standard....if I talk they will tell me that is how they run dia own thing....

if am doing things d way I was taught D boss will say am wasting resources... I pity d px...

so many things to mention but few....

I managed to finished d One months, collect my salary and left...naso d woman started saying all sort about me,,, In short she was hurt that the only registered nurse she has Left. but why is she saying things that are not true about me

she was saying she regret paying me salary,, dat fresh graduate thing is still running in me, I don't know what labor market is saying,, before I left one of d staff committed a blunder and she didn't even make enquiry on how it went,,now I left d place she was screaming I was d one,,,have been hearing all sort she was saying from her doc and other staff....

I learnt she was cursing her children and not me...

Still on d diapers matter dis early momo... ok na so I dey read all d comments on diapers.. well we never had issues with one yet. we have used Huggies SA, Huggies US, Nigerian pampers and premium, Molfix also was bae but I give d kudos to baby hugg and Huggies US and Asda Little Angels when it comes to super absorbent...



Naso I enter Jumia and was searching for diaper. Pampers premium dey dia for 1420 for 36pcs size 3. no delivery charges attached. for mamas interested.

Akorkor... vomiting is actually a sign of faulty feeding... either baby was overfed, improperly positioned while feeding,not allowing baby to blow wind after feeding and many more...
my son also use to finished his big flask of pap from 8 to 5pm.. of which he rarely finishes it within 24hrs at home

@enque,,dis issues of water refusal, we are at it together. But.d solution to ours now is that I eventually found out he loves drinking water from all this plastic disposable bottle. like Eva bottle and all d like. so waht I did was to get the smallest bottle water size and keep the two bottles afterwards which I used interchangeably now.

that has been my boy's hobbies since he has two in his mouth. infact he so much enjoyed doing that to d extent that his papa also noticed. he will even laugh one kind funny laugh while on it. a times his papa will say make I use hand press his mouth while he does it..

I will advise you go for degree in nursing....
nursing school is just equivalent to diploma. it has only professional qualification but no academic qualification like degree. when u go to school of nursing u obtain just a certificate for general nursing after spending three years. but with degree nursing u can obtain 4 certificate after u sit for the various professional exams..
u have ur BNsc RN, RN and PH

@brownsugar... yes it is very true for me. I started producing meaningful mls of breast milk when I used hand compared to the stress I undergone using pumps.

I want to rant please. on d issue of job searching. Am getting pissed. I was granted application in two diff hospital but the conditions given was wack I must say. Am planning to quit searching and continue to sleep home till November when I will start my internship.

@mizmycoli,,, I don't know of Chicco to bleach. my lo has been using Chicco soap from day 1 and still using it. His complexion is very fine just like his dad's family. no trace of bleach at all..

@Jazzyjazz,,, sorry ehn.. he will change. u r not d only one on it. my lo also refuse food. he takes Tom Brown, Yellow corn pap, millet pap alone, and he loves Ribena( daddy's handwork). infact he now recognize d container.

wow!!! this mama eventually spoke my mind. I ought to have done dis but time no gree me. So far we have not had any diaper nor wipes issues when it comes to napkins rashes
what we do ; when we are home we rinse bombom with water and infact if we went to visit someone we are close with we don't use it.

And we are use to using barrier cream, ori to be precise even without rash.

this is my lo.
he sleeps in his cot very well not until recent that the thing no contain him again. though he will sleep in it but wakes up very often due to inability to turn around. and again he hates mosquito net as well.
