surveyor1: No right of review means you cant appeal against the decision or call for review of your application. For example if u apply for UK student visa, , they give right of appeal. But no right of review means you can't appeal. Just apply again.

Largo: my CO said we would have to wait for 2 to 3 weeks for the medical assessment in Australia. So hopefully the second week of December there should be an update.

nelsono: @ All, I applied for my student visa (Streamlined) yday, got a text same yday that it has been dispatched for processing.

However I have a question for those hu hv gone thru this route before; did you receive ur HAP ID from VFS after lodging ur application or will it be mailed/texed to u later from Pretoria?

Why I ask is because on lodging my application I only got was a slip that has my Visa Ref Number (as I got to know later) and the type of visa am applying for and amt paid but no HAP ID on. How I knew was cos I called the hospital trying to inquire on the amt for the medicals and was asked to call my HAP ID, thinking tha the Visa Ref Number was the HAP ID, I called it, buh was informed that that wasnt it that HAP ID is a 7 digits number.

Pls forumite advise so that I will be guided accordingly.

surveyor1: Fatayi na extursion. My wife did her medical dre too. I think it charge you based on your course n the type ot medical required by Australia. Because u wanna be a nurse u will require further test like hepatitis n hiv test. But normally medical for non medical student is 60k.

Chubi4show: Thanks bro. I will do my medical next week in abj. called mr Phillip nw and he said their x-ray machine is now in order. Cost= 36k

2. 2 color passport photograph
3. stipulated fee

since Lagos is the HQ in less than 48hrs you should've it depending on their workload if you want express service the fee might be hiked

Don't forget to carry money ooooo...lol

Nwokenna: Basically 20 to 50 naira per documents to be verified, and the Police clearance should be cheaper in Lagos budget around 5k to 10k go to Force Hq or state CID ask of finger print section.
