everG: sorry guyz who is ds Alex in question? is he d contact guy in tasmanian? if he is, please send me his email so dat i cn do him a mail on most unclear issue abt d programme
...But I thought tastafe gave u a letter of offer? If so,alex should mail u. He's the international student adviser(I think). Perhaps u don't have a letter of offer, try and apply on d tas poly website and he will contact u. But he's slow in replying mails. Maybe a call would do. U can't just mail him without any reference. (I stand to be corrected pls )

jennykadry: Thanks, they dealt with me but I went prepared wink
Hahaha. Welcome back again. Its well.
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by posdream(f): 5:20pm On Aug 20, 2013
jennykadry: The listening and speaking are the two easiest part especially speaking. You will be fine, I used to be friends with an IELTS official and he told me that
They could care less if what you said made sense during your speaking test as they re only watching out for how well you speak and how much of what you have said they are able to get (accent and all).....and how they hate it when the candidates pauses for more than 5 secs or making weird sounds like ....."hummm, ya, hmmm, etc.

I wrote IELTS at ECU when I wanted to study overseas for a year sometime ago, there was nothing like a head set, a casette player was all they used.
Oh! She's back. Thank God. Welcome back ma. Hope say mosquitoes no find u?

manmeta: I'll like to advise all individuals intending to take the IELTS exams (particularly posdream....lol). Don't fidget or make much fuss about this. It's not a big deal and don't make one out of it.

Aside adequate preparations, going into the exams, you need to relax and save yourselves these hassles as this will endanger your concentration. Know that there is absolutely no exams one can fully prepare for.

Therefore, relax, go in there and do your bit/best, which should be ok.

One more piece of advice: What smears any good work is lack of attention to details. Watch it. I've seen individuals break this pertinent law here severally. For example: Using 'advice' for 'advise'. The correct word is 'programme' and not 'program'. It's spelt 'centre' and not 'center'. 'A few' is more than 'few'. 'Is' goes with 'much' while 'are', with 'more'.

Pardon me o. I no be Mr. Lecturer.

All the best.
Thanks so much sir. I appreciate those word corrections. You can never tell,it might be an expo...lol. Thanks again. I'm not scared anymore. He's given me a heart as brave as a lion. *smile* thanks all.

A12345: its 1,328 for 32months. He will respond. Guess he is busy, i had to call at times b4 he reply ma mail. But wait a minute, why d sudden change to comm. service?. Never mind u can switch over 2 nursing after d cert. iv prog. Iam also eyeing d nursing.
From d brochure,I read that if u pulled out after the first semester or two(I'm not sure)you'll get d cert. IV. Then I can proceed to nursing by july or so. But I think its better to let alex knw ones plan. I've asked him that actually. And since the whole of tasmania is considered as a regional area. I'll go for that. My focus is still on nursing too. No deviation

A12345: The embassy has no qualms with your IELTS in as much as the school accept it. My unconditional offer from Tastafe was based on my IELTS GT result.
I've applied for community service work also but Alex hasn't replied my mail. I've resolved for that since its 2.3years and 22k. its cheaper (for me). how much was calculated for your OSHC?
