Nigerians in diaspora are no different from Nigerians in Nigeria. There is a reason you don't have 'Little Nigeria ' in cities like Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, where you have a large concentration of Nigerians. They generally avoid each other because they don't trust each other. If you embrace Nigerians, they will destroy you.

There should be an independent investigation. We heard allegations of extra judicial killings by the soldiers before they were ambushed. Being a soldier does not give one the right to kill extra judicially.

I condemn the killing of the Soldiers. The killers should be apprehended and prosecuted.
But when did Soldiers start going on 'peace missions' in Nigeria? There should be an independent investigation of what actually happened. The peace mission theory does not sound believable.

In essence, the government basically paid ransom which goes to finance the activities of terrorists. The kidnappers have gone scot-free with hundreds of millions of Naira, to continue their terrorist activities.
