Una know that thing where your parents go dress you up wrap you in a special wrapper and snap you when you are baby. Enlarge the picture then frame it?? What if I told you that the cloth I wore in that picture I wore it till my puberty almost expired at 14?? The cloth was big then it was also elastic. So I dey grow into the cloth year in year out ![]() And the only reason I stop wearing it was because I put it in bleach for 2 days and forgot. My mum still wanted to break my head for wasting cloth that other children are looking for. |
Wonderful!! Is it spur of the moment or can you remember it long enough to write it down?? And that 2 year ofcourse includes returning to modify some traits or plot in the past, so as to make it easy in the present for me to add certain stories.that kind of thing. J so much enjoy it.. ReactGA: |
For me personally, thinking, reasoning, prediction, playing out how I want social interaction to go(it never goes as planned), how I would have liked it to go, creating historical fiction (like what if Hitler won), daydreaming (during lockdown I almost ran mad because of this. The current daydream now I and 4 if my guys have been exposed to aform of radiation that instead of killing us gave us IQ of 500 for 250 to my guys. We did not have any social awkwardness that comes with it. We are master manipulators but we are genuinely altruistic to the world. After a period of extreme wealth we were able to unify the leadership of most of the developing countries to fight against the imperial powers of NATO, because the tried to stop our growing influence.... Let me just there . That's about 2 years worth of internal monologue complete with visualization and colour. Realistic imaginative graphics. I don't need to watch movies I can make in m head |
No be all ooh. I have a friend introvert like myself and we were discussing this subject and e said he does not have an inner monologue or voice. He just knows when to do things. He can only visualize numbers in his head as for reading he will look at the page and he can recognize the meaning, but he does not read in his head. And he was very serious about it. Ajah489: |
if Tottenham win City I will know that the god of football does not want Liverpool anywhere near champions league. unlike some of my anfield comrades I still believe in that 4th position. |
ednut1:are they not all thieves, lol. but that's by the way... the north infact the northwest produces a president within 6 years time frame, so what do you call that? |
Savie:I know Akpabio as a strategist. but a quiet one?? I doubt. let's see what happens. |
zoeA:I can never hate Akpabio after the facelift he gave uyo atleast. I can still remember the elevated self esteem of akwaibomites when Akpabio was governor. but my people are held back by party politics |
Nigeriadondie1:wasn't the nddc always a cesspool of corruption? they actually try to pin ALL the corruption on him, didn't they leave him alone after he tried to expose them?? lol |
Kriss216:it is not a confrontation oohh but what exactly did this Akpabio do wrong? for me ooh, if only annang people and my fellow akwa ibomites had opened their eyes and realized that federal politics is not state politics, Akpabio now would have been a deputy Senate president(who was agege that Akpabio cannot bully) or at least a very respected senator SS senator that would have served as a FG link for us. but my people had their way what can I do?? |
lemme mention lalaticlala before dey say I did not ![]() |
please I am not a political expert. but I was just thinking the other day about the fate of Akpabio now that he is in the FG. by now even the blind can see that Nigeria, except for a last minute tactical strike, is set for a southern president. it seems that this president will come from SE but more likely from SS, considering: 1, that the SW are moving away from their traditional allies the north and the north is hurt because of this. 2, SE and North no dey see eye to eye since '66. Umahi, kalu, Amaechi, have all been considered, but I haven't heard any argument on Akpabio and I'm wondering why?? politicsLanders in the House what's your take? |
it's unfortunate that most of the comments above did not take time to counter jega's comment (since they seem not to agree with it). jega is right, 1. all minority ethnic groups, like ibibio(akwa ibom state), idoma( benue if am not mistaken), efik (cross river), etc will not want to loose their autonomy✓ 2. Albert Einstein is credited with saying you cannot do one over and over and expect different result, we did regional government with a "peoples' Constitution'' before and it was the major catalyst of the civil war (not corruption), we should not allow nostalgia and raw ethnocentrism by majority ethnic groups lead us by that way✓ 3. GEJ is right. But if we wait to controls people's minds, we may have well become communist and loose human rights. let's work with what we see✓ 4. why is greater autonomy for the 36 state, national representation according to population, state (and county Police?), 100% percent control of land oil for oil-producing state so difficult to be considered, except maybe for the fact that it would hurt the elites?✓ |

My questions are; 1. What brand of body spray is good for men? (I have never bought anything like this before, I just use my mom's and sisters perfume sparingly) 2. Can I continue to use my nicoderm mixed with Vaseline and soulmate? 3. Whats your advice on shoes? ( I am not doing for the girls perse but I know of peacocking and obsession of girls to shoes, shame )4. No matter how I try my clothes are always sloppy, what can I do to look sharp in my clothes? 5. Do I need to ditch the skinny look? Can I look clothes in shirt without being buff? (I hate working out and too much muscle) 6. How can I decorate my man cave? 7. Is there any online space or PDF u read about this in practical terms. Lalaticlala, mynd44, forano Dominique abeg move to front page or the appropriate section make I help my life abeg. |
Ladies and gentlemen welcome to my first inquiry. Like most people who write about this sort of thing on nairaland I am introvert. But I don't think it is the reason for my lack of 'proper' grooming and fashion sense. I say proper because I love the way I am and if it was possible I would stay like this. But in this life, your society will influence you whether you like it or not. 6 months from now I will be 21 and I will no longer be forgiven for my lack of proper male grooming and fashion. What do I mean? For one, I hate cutting my hair and the small beard I have , talkless of combing it. Picture Woke Soyinka hair and beard, segalink's hair but uncombed, and shellock Holmes' attitude to vanity. Even Nair cutting is laborious. I have never enter market to buy clothes alone before, all my clothe are bought by mum or my sisters. I follow my dad to buy sew clothe and to buy cover shoes. I don't have and fashion taste or identity. I am in my fourth year of medical school, ward round and call demand I dress smart and dignified for the comfort of the patient, we are now supposed to wear corporate all days of the week and cheap ties will not do. Whether I like or not, the way I dress, groom and look in school, church and the hospital is the way I will be addressed. |
Yenefer:please is this a real novel I would like to read this |
Juicethekid:oga see me here... I don follow you sef I need am 09067336248 MTN ![]() |
A thief. Common Ministry of Niger Delta under him is a complete failure and a cesspit for massive corruption. He would never be considered.
