PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Give Reasons For Cease Fire by Positiveminds(m): 12:07pm On Jan 29, 2013
It is a good thing that the Boko Haram boys decided to a cease-fire. Indeed, it is a decision in the right direction. This is our country, our home. The developments we all yearn for can only come in the face of stable security atmosphere.

Those of us calling for the annihilation of the BH boys should stop making such calls. These BH boys are Nigerians who have been misled by the events in neighboring nations and the callousness with which our leaders mismanage our collective assets. They, the BH boys, need to be given re-orientation and be re-integrated into the society.

However, where injustice continues to rest on our political landscape measures of terrorism will likely continue. There is need to carry out surgical operation on our political structure. Is it not possible to make political offices less attractive, making political offices part -time thing? Can we not actually begin to convict our politicians who loot our collective treasures? Is it not possible for us to introduce the Chinese justice system here? These are questions we should address.

God help Nigeria.

TravelRe: 65 Nigerians Deported From European Countries by Positiveminds(m): 10:55am On Jan 26, 2013
You, gentlemen , it is not irony of life. When you don't do things right, you get shame and disgrace at the end of the day. Many of those deportees entered europe through sneaking into neighboring countries, with no legitimate papers. Sometime last year, one of them there, a lady , asked me how she could obtain Senior Secondary School Certificate in Nigeria without having to sit for the exams. I told her the only way I knew one could get it was to sit for the exams and pass the relevant subjects. It is so disheartening that some youth( and indeed the elderly too) do not have purpose for living. Why go into another man's land without plans for the future? Opportunities abound in this land, even in the face of the challenges facing it. Truely, this is a malaise people should fight against.
SportsRe: Keshi Is Satisfied With Result Against Zambia by Positiveminds(m): 10:24am On Jan 26, 2013
Gentlemen, it is so easy to see that CAF has conspired with the referees against Nigeria. As it stands , CAF is not happy that Nigeria refused to pay the money they wanted to rip us off. This is one ground for the conspiracy. Keshi and his boys should try to be more clinical me and ruthless in front of goals. Good goal margin will frustrate the referees like Pharaoh was frustrated in his bid to annihilate the Isrealites
SportsRe: We Were Robbed - Enyeama Fumes by Positiveminds(m): 10:05am On Jan 26, 2013
1. There is something really wrong with Nigerian. We never value what we have.

2. You dull heads crying against Mikel should know that even the best footballers miss penalties. Drogba missed in AFCON against same Zambia. When Mikel scored penalties at the qualifiers why didn't you people cry out"crucify him".

3. That referee was just evil -minded. Many football analysts have given their verdicts on that penalty awarded against Nigeria. It's has been established that indeed was contact but that never enough to make for a penalty. Like Enyeama said, it was ROBBERY, and it speaks volumes about the level of experience of referees in the African continent.

Now I have good enough reasons to plead with BON not to bulge on it's decision not to pay that whooping amount of money demanded by CAF for the broadcast right. What we have seen so far if everything but good football. No wonder African footballers never won World Footballer of the Year.Make i go drink jor!

PoliticsRe: Economic Reforms Not Easy In Nigeria – Jonathan by Positiveminds(m): 10:03am On Jan 17, 2013
Economic Reforms are not easy , indeed, because:

1. We do not prosecute our corrupt government officials;
2. Government pays lip service to corruption issues;
3. There is selective economic justice in the land;
4. We have square pegs in round holes. Wonder why Sanusi has not been deployed to National Orientation Agency;
5. Thieves seize power by ballot snatching and nothing is done about it.;
6. Many of our agencies and government economic institutions are simply draipipes.
7 The President lacks the will power to step on those cancerous toes ravaging the nation;
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Warplanes Head To Mali by Positiveminds(m): 9:56am On Jan 17, 2013
I don't know Jack about the types of war planes you guys are talking about. However, I am concerned about the implications of this move on the peace of this nation. Those fundamentalist already have dozens of reasons why they hate Nigeria. I don't think it is in our own best interest to keep sending our troops to go and fight outside . We already have enough in our hands to deal with. This assistance means Nigeria would be losing enormous amount of material and human resources.

PoliticsRe: Ban Of Green Buses Temporarily Suspended By FCT by Positiveminds(m): 9:35am On Jan 17, 2013
One major problem we have in this country is that many of our government agencies and officials jump to hasty decisions without taking time to simulate several alternatives possible to ensure things are done properly. The FCT government should have ensure that palliatives are put in place before marshaling the order on the ban of green buses within the city centre. When decisions are taken in the manner they just did, it is the masses that suffer it.
SportsRe: Super Eagles Defeat Sparta Rotterdam In Warm Up by Positiveminds(m): 11:27pm On Jan 12, 2013
Well, I didn't watch the match but wish them well. I am not comfortable with them developing cold feet in front of goal posts. They need work on that , and also on set pieces. The defence line is still suspect. Prof. Keshi should look into that. Enyeama's reflexes are weak.
