I love this forum. Social media at its best. However, i really think that what some of us are doing here is destructive rather than helping to rebuild the broken walls of our political and social identities. This ´my oga at the top´ thing is one joke played too much. We had better cut it short. One, it is damaging to the nation´s already battered pimage. Those of you who still want to travel out there to look for jobs should better think well. Some of you here are intellectually bankrupt, and do not have visible signs of better future than the people you denigrade. No wonder Nairaland has been branded ´ Naija Beer Parlour´. Yes, we can criticise our leaders. When we do, it should be constructive, with the objective to correcting percieved or observed anomalies. It should be with good sense of responsibility. I really blame the moderators for the nonsense going on here. My advise to to Seun is to place premium attention to what goes on here. May God help us. 1 Like |

Now we are beginning to do the right thing: promote our own league. I remember those days when all we knew was about our local clubs, not that they were absolutely doing it right then, just to promote our football. All that changed when we shifted attention to the EPL and such others like it. I am not against the streaming of EPL. It is good as it is serving the purpose of teaching our football administrators what it means to be organized. The point being made here is that we should promote our local league than we the foreign ones.t 2 Likes |
