I already went to his bank, the account have been really frozen, I stay in bauchi and he stays in kano(I have never seen him b4)
I got his account no from a friend whom introduced me to the business(4yrs ago), him to have never seen the man b4(he got it from a friend who is late now).

I wonder if the way of transacting business has changed.

You want to do business with someone without relating with him.

Believe op at ur peril....he is a serial troll

moreover, your bank would've refunded u ur money....because no transfer can be sent to a frozen acct.

Therefore, op is a bloody liar seeking for attention

See how you said in confidence that money cannot be transferred to frozen as if you actually know what you're saying.

Listen money can be transferred to frozen accounts, is like saying airtime cannot be transferred to blocked mtn number.

Stop such misleading conclusions and stop calling the poster a liar over something you know nothing about.

You can’t get your money back except the account is unfrozen

Was he aware you were going to transfer the money or you transferred it without his knowledge? Ordinarily the bank ought to reverse the transaction since the account is frozen, it makes no sense leaving such account open to receive money. You should go to your bank and make a complaint.
So, U Are D Dominique I Av Been Hearing Abt?

I made a transfer to a man whom I buy bulk knitting wool from, but he told me that the account have been frozen and he doesnt have any plan to go and unfreeze it cause he have gone to the bank four times they didn't unfreeze it.
Is there any way I could get my money back? cause the man have already told me that my money is gone, cause there is nothing he can do.
And the money isn't even mine, I am just a middleman for people who want to buy wool in large quantities.
Pls nairalanders is there a way I can get my money back??
Get a lawyer who will file necessary originating application in court for a reversal of the entire amount of money you transferred to the account.

It's easy to see why the dishonest man's account was frozen...go to his bank and I find out if his account is actually frozen and for what reason and then get him to come to the bank with U ( I know he won't come ) I even suspect that this is a new format.....where did you even get the account number from?
True
it’s very easy to see why the dishonest man’s account was frozen In the first place

Let no one deceive you here.

The only way you can get your money from that account is to unfreeze the account. Note as well, no banker will take the risk of touching any frozen account except of course it is "worth it".

So the only advice I have for you is, commence the process of unfreezing the account.

I'm done talking.

The emboldened is a big white lie sir.

Sorry there is a misconception here by most commentators and it’s misleading.

Frozen account - No money enters and no money leaves the account. It’s simply freezed.

The said account if it actually received money was not frozen but either placed on PND or its Dormant - In both case, money can enter but cannot be removed.

Account freezing is mostly used in criminal investigations and court cases where evidence needs to be preserved.

I think the poster needs to elaboration further because his side of the story leaves so many question marks.

FCMB made payment when i froze my account. This is naija anything can happen. About 3 bankers risked losing their jobs then, i just had to pity them.
The payer cannot unfreeze or even talk about it, best op can do is to make a strong case between his bank, the scammer's bank and escalate to the CBN. If you dont bug them, it wont get far

Just go to your bank and lodge a fund recall request backed up by a court order. The receiver's bank will be contacted by your bank to recall the fund and reverse it to your account. Some little investigation will be made but your money will surely return. It's more genuine and fast that way because as soon as your bank lodges a fund recall request to the receiver's bank it's being tracked by CBN and there are timelines for resolution or sanction will be applied on the bank.
BTW the guy is a fraud. Theres no freeze reason that cannot be lifted on an account. At the extreme where nothing can be done with an account it will be closed. With a court order you dont need his consent to get your fund back.

How can you transfer money to an account without confirming it? You don't have any single sense and I don't feel sorry for you, neither will I apologise for calling you senseless.

Go and get an extract from your lawyer and tender it to the bank then watch what happen next.

A simple court order will compel the bank to unfreeze the account and reverse it to it.

Simply get a lawyer, tell him you u did a wrong transfer to the man, provide an alternative account number claiming that he is the person you wished to transfer to.

It will be treated as a wrong transfer and you get ur reversal within 5days of a confirmed order.
Don't think it would be that easy, even with court order. There are laws guiding the banking sector which the judge would make reference to, the only thing they can do is make move to unfreeze the account. The account owner must make move to unfreeze the account. The owner of the account himself must be dubious to have been unable to unfreeze the account multiple times, involving EFCC if possible would unravel the mystery behind why the man dishes out frozen account number for transfer. The owner of the account is hiding something that hasn't been said. Jane, what you think?

With a court order its straight reversal, theres no difficulty. Attempt is only made to notify the recipient of the order and when he cannot be contacted the order is still applied. You only write to the court confirming applying the order without customer's consent So the court is in the know. We deal these everyday. Some are even transfers to wrong accounts. 123 account in XYZ bank credited instead of 123 account in QPR bank. We reverse when a court order is presented.

I will advise u to first call the Bank customer's care to get their opinion on the issue because one thing is for sure no bank will tell you anything about about another person's account.
