Muslim students can wear their hijab to school. This is a northern states for that matter and northerners are known Muslims with little Christian faith.

Why then will you advise them not to wear hijab in a muslim controlled territory..

It is their faith, norm and lifestyle...

As far it is north, they can wear it.

Hishbah should immediately step in and enforce the rules
go to Ago iowye ogun state a Christian state whose Government is funding a Muslim government school that insists on everyone wearing hijab.
if Kwara government doesn't want to fund these schools, he should hand them over period.

Agree 100%. They should keep this radical religious extension to the proper quarters. Build your religious school and implement your own law there. Simple

Very simple since these fools that lost their identity think they know Islam than Mohammed then let them go and build their hijab shit school.

Bloody fake Muslims.

Shameless black a s s with no sense. Saudi stand by their Islam, Jew stand with their Juddaism/Christianity, China stand with their Buddism, India stand with their Sinkh etc only Africa especiallg Nigeria that left their root and be running amok for foreign religion that has no link or connection with them.

These Kwara in particular has no little sense this was how Fulani took over their rulership but these things could not fight it out but very busy fighting to impise hijab shit.

Why should other faith system take provocative action just to incite the others just because the person in power is of their faith.

When does government began to design uniforms for private schools. Anyone that is proud of his/her faith does not need to force on anyone.

Most people making defamatory comments here about muslims are mostly hypocrites. Most of them do it intentionally to make innocent Muslims feel bad, simply because someone comes out to say he is committing an evil act because of his religion. If a person commits a crime and says he is doing it because of christianity does it mean he is saying the truth?does it mean majority of Christians are criminals?... This bishop is not a peace loving person as he claims to be. If a federal tertiary institution(unn) says she isn't admitting Christian students is that okay? Over a piece of clothing u can't tolerate another person, it is not as if the peice of clothing is revealing, the peice of clothing doesn't disfigure the school uniform in anyway. Just hair covering. I bet, if let's say the Hijab isn't something common with Muslims, no single person will complain. Tolerance!!!

This is the height of religious intolerance at its peak. It beats my imagination that Muslim pupils cannot wear headscarves in a state funded schools? How did we get to this stage if I may ask? How is Hijab-wearing by few muslim pupils an islamization agenda? This is preposterous and insanely absurd. We have always lived together in harmony in South West until the advent of the so called men of God and Islamic fanatics who find relish in this absurdity. When will Nigeria move out of this religious cocoons? Oduduwa nation my foot!

We are so far behind most countries across the world and we should be working extra hours everyday on that, yet... our concern is how to wear hijab to school? Are we cursed? Why are we so good at destruction and so useless at building and maintaining good and positive things? I agree with Oyedepo on this.

This should be common sense.

Build your own Ansar Udeen Secondary Mission School and wear whatever you want to wear.
How can you come to a Baptist Mission school and tell them what the students should wear?

You are enjoying a Christian built school, instead of being thankful, you want to impose your way of life on the owners

The schools were built by missionaries but later taken over by the government but hypocrites are making it look like those schools are not government school to score cheap points and exhibit their hatred for Islam

I have been waiting and searching for this useless and foolish statement to come from a fool.

I want to ask a question, when the schools were taken over by the government, did they pay the missionaries that built the schools for the building and the amount invested in those schools and on students before the takeover ?
The Schools remain missionary schools.

We have many great Universities that belong to Churches presently with few sub standard Universities that belong to other groups. I know many people will be happy today if Universities like Covenant, Landmark, Redeemers, Babcock and others too numerous to name here are taken over by the government. Tomorrow, they will now call them government universities where hijab should be worn. Is that possible ? No.

Let us be reasonable. Let us be logical.

Its unfortunate that many reason through their anus, it is very simple, if you know your demands are genuine, why can't you just go to court and get your right instead of ranting that Muslim should go and build their schools, even the white men that collected the land for some of the schools documented it that it is not meant for the church rather its for educational use for all. Will Ilorin will be so stupid to give their land free of charge to church for school construction without any benefit they'll derive. Let them bring evidence of purchase of those land in the court. Just raising emotions of gullible followers lasan.
We know what they want, but we'll not give them now. grin

Me I agree with you.
The school is funded by the state so:
- Muslim pupils should be allowed to wear headscarves.
- Celestial and C&S pupils should be allowed to wear their white sultana garments.
- Traditional worshipers should fall in with their Sowore's friend's traditional attire or even egungun garments, as long as they don't enter expressway.
- Free-thinkers and atheists should be allowed to just wear their jeans and t-shirts.
It is just a school to build and empower future generation so they should be exposed to the realities of real world.

Stop writing rubbish, if you don't know what to write. the numbers of Islamic schools in ilorin is multiplied your (Christian) schools.

The point here is that, it is the Constitutional rights of the Muslim school children to attend those schools because they are being financing with taxpayers money.

I don't know why kwara state governor cannot use his common sense and turned down those fanatics that makes him look like a fool.

Christianity came to Nigeria well packaged with education and health facilities, Islam came with non of these things and they are trying to use back door to hijack what does not belong to them.

I have a lot of good qnd educated Muslims and they are not in support of this nonsense .

Useless man called Isiaq Akintola who got Professorship from Ile kewu in Egypt ( who grew up in war countries like Syria, Iran, Iraq and Egypt)is the one behind all these problems.

Muslims and Christians in SW leaves like brothers and sisters till the useless man came up with his terrorist group called MURIC .
Almighty God will destroy everyone that devil is using to destabilise SW with religion .

Now Christians are building Universities everywhere with our tithes (no single government money), why they are funding terrorism. Tomorrow the useless man will be looking for a way to hijacked the schools through jihad.

Muslims should please learn from Syria Iraq and Iran and don't allow this fanatic to cause trouble between us, we are brothers and sisters.

See here, this issue is deeper than that. Firstly recognize that western education came with exchange of your faith with education. I give you education and you practice my faith. This forced muslims to convert to Christianity. That is where the "Boko" in boko haram came from. It was the fact that the North referred to western education as worthless cos it will change your faith. Now, the unintended consequences in all of this is communities, States and other places refusing the establishment of schools or requesting for schools to be closed if they cannot accommodate others. Now Kwara is predominantly muslim. If the people are asked to vote to keep or abolish missionary schools, tell me what the results of a fair election will be? So, think future all of you running your mouth now, this will divide us more and it might cause the closure of so many legacy schools. Now, you talked about tithe money, yeah right. GEJ distributed billions that was supposed to be used to purchase arms to Churches. Osinbajo alone had hundreds of Personal Assistants all via connections from RCCG and they give each other contracts and donate mega million into Churches to thank God for blessing them with our Nigerian stolen money. I hope you remember the CAN president, Oritsejafor's plane filled with $$$ in South Africa and that story and investigations is still pending till date. Now, YES, muslims and Northerners are doing the same thing under this regime and guess where that leaves muslim me and christian you, a useless country, rubbish infrastructure, lack of clear direction and fight everyday over the things that separates us instead of finding common ground and building each other up.
