Adopt true federalism and regional and state policing.

I will hold the regional police and government accountable for whatever happens in their regions.

AS PRESIDENT I WILL SOLVE THE SECURITY PROBLEMS AS FOLLOWS;

Finishing the Book Haram
As a President I Know it will not be an easy task to reduce to the bearest minimum the current level of insecurity in Nigeria. All the insecurity challeges in the country only Boko Haram (BH) will need a drastic, kinetic and offensive attack to finish them. For the BH, all the Service Chiefs and myself will relocate to Maiduguri Borno State until we finish the Boko Haram terrorists. I will lead the war to end Boko Haram even if it will meant me loosing my life in the course. I know I died in a good course. My VP will remain in Abuja to be carrying out other Governmental and officials issues on my behalf. I will inform him for critical ones decisions he should consult me.
Half of all our security forces like the Army, Navy, Airforce, Police (Mobile force), civil defense,Customs, and Immigration will be send to Maiduguri and spread across including to Yobe state and some of Adamawa State.
All allowances for the security personnels fighting the insurgency will be paid directly to their account. No involvement of third party. Reshuffling and reposting of the security will take place every three months. No compromise or sabotage from anybody in the fight against the insurgents.

Farmers/Herdsmen Clashes
There will all inclusive round table discussions with all stakeholders concern on the root causes of conflicts and way forward. Senate President, Speaker National Assembly, IGP will be at the meeting. Recommendations will be divided into short-term, and long term so that these people will be see the implementation commence.

Kidnappings
Executive order will immediately be passed into law for the execution of anybody apprehended with hands in kidnappings. Security personnels from the Police, Army, DSS, and Civil defense will be specially trained in Anti-kidnappings activities. They will be trained in sophisticated technologies of responding to kidnappings. Countries such as US, France, Russia will be invited in training the special forces against Kidnappings. There will stations for the special forces at all the major express and high ways across the country. Govt will announce that there is no payment of any ransome in case of kidnappings.

IPOB, SUNDAY IGBOHO, AND OTHERS
The criminal activities by these groups of people were purely as a result of unfair treatment from the central Govt and nepotism. There will be fair for all citizens irrespective of tribe, religion or geographical location. The Govt will send it agents for discussion and way forward with them behind the scene. If it proof abortive govt will handle them in a better way.

IBRAHIM EL-ZAKZAKY OF SHIA SECT WILL BE UNCONDITIONALLY RELEASED AND COMPENSATED.

nothing like assuming, many people working with Buhari were in the military, and with Buhari as formal general, common they need nobody’s advise on security.

If igboho and team can bring sanity to Igagan and Ghani Adams and team brought some sanity to the southwest in few weeks. No shot fired. Buhari and team must be crazy if they cant solve insecurity problem in Nigeria

First of all the govt know the solution...but for so many reasons which include political reason they decide not to solve this problem.

Solving insecurity in this 21st century is centred around Technology and critical intelligence gathering which Nigeria currently lack.

Solution 1: we need to procure high tech unmanned drones that will man our territorial borders from unwanted infiltration and most importantly give our ground troops informed coordinate of insurgents and bandits location against ambush and attack and kidnapping..
NB: that this solution would be most effective in the north east, north west.
And it's much affordable when compared to solution 2.

Solution 2: launch Nigeria owned and controlled satellite in space (not the one launched and controlled from china). The satellite is to watch the entire country giving both the military, NSA, and para military information of ground activity throughout the country including the coastal region...the satellite would be a foundation to our missile program (that is if we have plan for any in the future) which would be launched at interval to destroy insurgents and bandits from their enclaves.

NB, solution one is short term while solution 2 is long term.

God bless Nigeria

I will provide all the necessary mercenaries required by the security agencies. Will inquire it from them. Even if it will require 50% of the budget. After that, any failure from any agency or arm, the head of the agency will be sacked, probed and jailed. Even if DPO cannot account for any security breach under him. I'll hold him responsible - jailed and probed.

One of the reasons we're still experiencing insecurities in this country is because no one takes responsibility for an action or inactions. If IGP or COAS is being fired for incompetence every quarter. Everyone will sit up.

To begin with start from the grassroot

Our military is very weak now, equip the military again

Massive persecution of criminals bandit and Co
Severe punishment for the supporters

Starting from the north people like gumi should be executed

The cattle association should be closed

Lock all borders

Some politicians indirectly involved will be imprisoned

The first thing I will do is to trace the source of insecurity, that is find those who are funding the bandits, terrorist and the likes. Once I get the source, I will block it and persecute those who are behind it.

Secondly, I will introduce a strict law that will make illegal arms and ammunition an abomination, preferable death sentence for those who carry illegal arms.

Lastly, I will create a very enabling environment for youths and able bodied men to learn skills and go into what can better their life.

First step is to ask God for forgiveness for being nepostic, selfish, wicked, clannish and vengeful.

After asking God for forgiveness, the President should do a live national broadcast and ask all Nigerians especially those from Southern Nigeria and Christian North and Middle-Belt for sincere forgiveness and he must acknowledge his complicity in all the wanton killings by his kinsmen as a result of his intentional silence and in actions.

Next is to warn all his kinsmen aka Fulani herdsmen and any other armed Fulani group or sponsors that going forward, it's not going to be game as usual, that they should all drop their arms now and embrace Peace or else that he had made a resolve to use maximum force without backing down to deal with any group of persons found wanting or going about killing people in Nigeria.

Next is to sack the current Custom boss and appoint a new vibrant person with strict instruction to stop all illegal movement of migrants into Nigeria from the Northern borders especially. He should then close all Northern borders and put maximum security, probably those from outside the region.

Next is to sack the current Police IG and appoint a vibrant IG with new ideas and mandate.

Next is to revamp Nigeria's Forest Guards and start full training in conjunction with local security outfits of each state or region to begin full control of all Nigerian forests.

Next is to give government grant to all registered Nigerian herdsmen to acquire land on their own and build a ranch, then outlaw open grazing after the grant. They can give them between 2million to 10million grant to build a ranch.

Next move is to send a bill to NASS to start the process of State or Regional Policing.

Next is to make sure anybody irrespective his or her tribe or religion found in any form of crime should be prosecuted fully without prejudice and stop the release of arrested Boko Haram or Bandits in the name of rehabilitation and send a warning to all Nigerians that once you pick up arms against the state and you are caught, it attracts capital punishment (death sentence) irrespective of whatever nonsense UN says, this is NOT America or Europe.

Lastly, start a honest and transparent nationwide youth empowerment and entrepreneurship programme (not NPower type) to create 5 million successful youth entrepreneurs in Nigeria in say 8 years time frame. There will be partnership with NYSC to implement youth graduate part of the programme and BoI and NDE for non graduate part.

Revamp all security apparatus and make sure appointments are given with respect to Federal Character

First of all. I would review and implement the increment of salary of every security personnel from lowest rank of the police to the highest rank in the military and para-military.

2 - Get them improvised equipments, Armoury and and Firearms to fight insecurity.

3 - Body camera would be attached to every police officer uniform like that of the U.S. police.

4 - Set up a monitoring team to check mate the excesses of the police — To police the police.

The second phase

1 - Set up a committee of mediators to address and calm the inter-ethnic unrest involving the herdsmen and all affected states.

2 - Keep fighting Boko Haram till they non-existent.

3 - Handsomely reward whistle blowers of crimes such as kidnap, banditary, fraud, Arson, Espionage, Terrorism etc.

4 - Actively engage the Obas, Emirs, Igwes and other traditional rulers to be amongst the mediators of inter-tribal/ethnic conflicts resolution.

Frankly, Everything I have highlighted needs money to make it work; sadly our budget is in the deficit to make these my plans work and even if we had surplus budget for the country security — what about the greed in the POLITICIALS?

I hate Democracy. Socrates first said Democracy is crap. The Athenians put him to death so here we are suffering from ignorance.

Simple!!!! Amend the Constitution and change it to confederation system of Govt.

Giving every region maximum autonomy while they remit A given % to the center.

Every region will be responsible for it's development and security. Believe me the reason insecurity is high is because of regional politics... Most easterner supports ESN, westerners supports OPC, Amotekun, Sunday igogho etc and most Northerners supports The herdsmen all to an extent. angry
Regional Government will curb all this shocked shocked shocked

Good question
We blamed Obasanjo, We blamed GEJ, We blamed Buhari
Now if you were there what will you do any better.

As far as I am concerned, I will take the below steps
1. Strenghten the law enfocement. Let it be more of intelligent officials in there rather than just brawn.
2. Invest in intelligence. Drones, GPS tracking, Communication, Robotic, etc
3. No room for incompetence. Commission officers to decimate crimes/criminals. I.e Attahiru should do everything necessary to kidnap or destroy Shekhau. If he doesn't do it within 4 months, he loses his job and someone better takes over.
4. De-weaponize Nigeria. Let there be a special force that either buys weapons in the wrong hands and offers big money if you snitch out people with heavy weapons.
5. Give bounty for criminals. For a good amount of money, your brother will snitch you if you are a criminal. If government is willing to pay 10 million for any bandit gang of multiple members. There will be betrayals and this will go a long way.
6. Strengthen the Secret Service. Let trained police officers infiltrate militant organizations i.e Boko Haram, ESN, MEND, Bandits, etc. Their impact will go along way in preventing terror attacks and plans.
7. Bring back public execution. As much as this is savagery, it is much needed now. Let the citizens know the ultimate shameful price for involving in terrorism.
