Re: How Would You Solve The Insecurity Issue In Nigeria If You Were The President? by TOPCRUISE(m): 10:04pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
Very simple; 1) Sentence to death all the criminals buying time in our prisons. If they are all dead, nobody will escape from the prisons. 2) Send an assassin to kill Nnamdi kanu wherever he is. 3) Arrest and sentence to death every cow that strays into another Man's property. 5) Sentence to death by beheading any politician guilty of embezzling public funds. 6) Sentence to death by firing squad those in the business of gun running. 7) Sentence to firing squad kidnappers for ransom. Ban social media. 9) Sentence to firing squad those involved in Yahoo Yahoo and yahoo plus. |
Re: How Would You Solve The Insecurity Issue In Nigeria If You Were The President? by mccloud224(m): 10:07pm On Apr 05, 2021 |
Simple... (1) Review the 1999 constitution. Remove immunity for errant thieves in govt and impose death penalty for offenders. (2) Kidnapping, banditry a.k.a terrorism attracts death penalty by being thrown into a well filed with dozens of crocodiles (many governors would suffer that fate in my hands coz they are the sponsors of terrorism in this country). (3) People like Shiek Gumi and Obasanjo who are advocating amnesty for terrorists will suffer no 2. above. (4) State Police is a must. Autonomous control of resources is a must. Remove oil money from Aboki hand and see Boko Haram/Herdsmen die a natural death. Na our moni dem dey use sponsor all dis tinz. (5)No one above 40 years of age can contest for president ( meaning I am excluded coz I'm past 40). Enough of dead brains like Tinubu who has no ideas to move 9ja forward except enrolling 50million youths out of 200million population and giving them go ahead to eat yam, corn and beans from people's farm that isn't govt property (how daft is that? And we wonder why Nigeria remains backward). (6) Ostracize FULANI TOTALLY from govt. All the backwardness in this country is traceable to them. They are NOT Nigerians. They are hell bent on fulfilling an archaic Uthman Dan Fodio agenda and they have slaves like Obasanjo,Tinubu, Umahi, Amaechi,Ayade, practically everyone in top corridors of power to do their bidding. That is why these slave send their stolen wealth and children abroad coz Nigeria is a ticking time bomb. If I was president, every political office holder from 1999 till date would be long dead by now plus I would dig out corruption cases from 1960 till date and make those old folks and family pay the ultimate price. THAT folks is a clear path to ridding this country of corruption, nepotism and impunity that has held us hostage for decades. End of! |

On the war on terror I would strengthen and resteucture the counter intelligence task force branch of every intelligence agency, they will report to me directly. They will be responsible for purging assets within the top level management of the military, DSS, DIA and ministry of interior. Once that's achieved we can then proceed to an all out kinetic war on the Boko Haram insurgency. On bandits specialized training by the Indonesian tactical gurilla unit would be provided to a selected set of personnel from the civil defense, npf, DSS, NDLEA, Customs, immigration... They will have 2 months to sweep the entire forest, it will be a joint exercise with the airforce... Once things stabilize we would go back to the drawing board and ask what went wrong in the first place.... After which restructuring can then come on board in security matters but this time technology will be the front,. But before that can take place urban planning and rural planning would take a new development whereby there will be no space for any form of insecurity to take place. |

In a metaphorical and literal sense, the role of the police is to arrest the failures of the State. So it’s kind of misleading for anyone to claim that Nigeria is a failing state and the Police powerless in the face of this or that a failing police force is symptomatic. Fix the police! Build secure police stations, recruit, more police, and pay police better. Train police in forensics. Increase the size of the police. Build more Prisons. Train police in techniques of modern investigations. Create DNA Data Bank for the police. Create Special Police Branches. These are just the basic stuff. We still have the army and Immigration services to fix. |

The question should be why Nigerians like crime because the insecurity is caused by Nigerians they will be no solution until Nigerians Decide to be good citizens ,you committed crime ,you support criminal ,and at the same time you are crying and criticizing government for insecurity !! |

It's simple; let the law take its full course even if a member of my household is the transgressor! Truth is, insecurity went this bad under Buhari because he, for reasons known to him, could not look his kith and kin in the face and condemn their lawless ways. He shielded them implicitly and explicitly. My principle, if I be the President, will be you break the law, you face its wrath. |

State Police is the cure to the woes of this country. In the United States... You will hear... LAPD, NYPD, etc. It's as simple as that. |

simple way. 1. just create job because unemployment is the real deal here. 2. create state police. fully funded and employable for majority of youths. 3. The root of it all. is everybody wants to join politics thereby starting with thuggery. slash salaries of all senators, ministers and co |

BBYYOLA:Well said. But the issue is that there are underlining interests and so the only solution to defeat Boko Haram is engaging highly skilled professionals eg executive outcomes as used by the past administration. Even the mercenaries had to face vested interest. In the second video you will here where eeben insinuated their convoy was intentionally fired on by a Nigerian t72 tank despite all indications that they were friendly forces approaching leading to loss of life of a South African and Nigerian soldiers. In surmarry, it seems the political will to end the insurgency is lacking due to tribal, political, foreign etc reasons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmDFf1wP1AA Start from 8.82 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stcrNWmPILs Start from 43 mins |

Enthrone justice, fairness, equity and kick out nepotism, tribalism and favouritism. There is no way you can do this without full restructuring, arming each region with it's 100% controlled police and saying bye to insecurity at least temporarily but now working God's kingdom will put the final nail on the coffin of insecurity. Let all do right. 1 Like |

Offpoint1: Nice one... Cut the North off TOTALLY!!! They are the ones dragging us back... When you see Lai Mohammed, Garba Shehu,Shiek Gumi defending terrorists yet attacking Southern Vigilantes you should know the North are the Sponsors of terrorism in this country. I advocate cutting off ALL states dominated by Fulani. Leave them to destroy themselves. |

Boko Haram: Give a marching order to service chiefs to decimate Boko Haram within three months or be executed for failing in duty. Kidnapping: Declare ransom payment as a criminal offence. Anyone that pay ransome should be made to pay 5 times of amount paid to government cover plus 3 years jail terms. Sympathisers that contribute to ransom payment should suffer same fate. Even Banks that allow huge withdrawals should suffer same fate including closing the branch. Keeping our road safe: Highway patrol and aerial patrol. Also check points should be placed at close intervals and there should be rapid response to provide backup incase of attack. General Crime: Reward people for reporting crime. Create a dedicated website to report crime by the citizens. Make a law that recording police activities with phone is no crime. |

If I were Buhari, I'll deal mercilessly with bandits and terrorists in my tribe. I will start with my tribe because if I pity my tribesmen, others will want to "test waters" and this is exactly what is happening now. Besides, if I should deal with terrorists in other tribes before mine, I'll be viewed as biased and you know... That's it. Charity begins at home. We will honestly and genuinely fight every negative force (starting from my tribe). We will also give accurate report... |

Build wall round Nigeria:- stop illegal entry and exit. Create a nation wide database with a SS number for every citizen: I'd simply partner with banks and schools to get it done faster. You can't do anything without this number. Retire all military personnel over 50 and bring in fresh brains from NDA, and limit their invention in civil activities. NYSC will converted into a one year service in the army and police to make up for low staffing. Body cams for all cops, replace the AK-47s with hand guns. Investigate and fish out all the financiers of Boko haram. Outlaw all socio-political and ethic groups. El-Rufai has some questions to answer. Create grazing reserves in the north and a cargo rail that would bring it down south. Ban open grazing, tresspassers get their cows seized and a two year jail term. Work with the NIA and DSS to bring Nnamdi kanu back. Build 20 new large prisons and rehab centers. Amotekun would be strictly intelligence gathering same with ESN(after it's legalized). Legalize guns. Legalize weed. Introduce regionalism. |

First thing to do, stop the amnesty programme. The programme is actually breeding insecurity in the country. Paying those criminals in the name of fighting for undevelopment in the Niger Delta and seeing what the NDDC has turn into is enough reason for a sane person to know that the fight in the first place is for stomach infrastructure. Secondly, deal with anybody formenting trouble irrespective of their tribe. I mean finish them. |

Return to the noble 1967 Aburi Accord or peacefully divide the country. You can not build on deceitful and unjust foundation. How did the Bible put it- if the foundation be distroyed, what can the righteous do. And again the ultimate book declared that man oppresses his man to his own hurt. Any other gimmic tantamaunts to shadow chasing, an exercise in futility. Just trust me. |
