Hello. I have a Dell laptop whose keyboard behaves funny sometimes. Two of the keys don't work sometimes and on several occasions, it shows 'Turn on caret browsing' as if F7 is pressed when it is actually not pressed. Do I need to change the keyboard or is there a workaround this?

caps lock blinks 3 times means ram memory error or no ram detected, 4 times is processor related issues, 5 times bios checksum, 6, 7 times system board failure

Hello house, good evening, please my laptop is giving me some issue. I'm new to this thread, so I don't know if someone has complained about want I want to write and solution been made, anyways please help me.

I turned on my laptop this morning, click to open MS word, and a pop up displayed that I am holding down my Ctrl key, if I want to go to safe mode. I clicked no.


The problem is none of my keyboard alphabet is working apart from space bar and esc .

I have restarted the system, tap the two control keys, tried pulling it up without removing it to seen if someone guy stuck in between, fixed external key pad and none of the alphabet button is working. The only time I can make it work, is to go to control panel, ease to access, change keyboard setting and turn on on screen keyboard, then used my mouse to click a button on the on screen keyboard. Afterwards, my keyboard buttons will start working except the Ctrl button. The moment I shut down and restart my system, I gets back to that problem. No keyboard alphabet will be working. Please I there any one without the solution. Thanks

Please i need to get HP Pavilion M6-1045dx casing. I got the Laptop January 2015 but about 3 months ago,the hinge started giving me issues, i didn't pay attention to it ontime and now it has affected my screen and the plastics around the screen and the hinge are now broken, i want to get another casing because i don't think i have a choice or if there is another way,please help me out.
