What's happening with the Nigerian Immigration Service?. I applied since December 2020, up till now in April 2021, they are saying no booklet. What kind of a country is this. I can't afford to lose the opportunity I want to use the passport for. Anyone with the same issue?

My husband told me to apply since last year, I didn’t. As soon as my baby bump started showing Na so I go apply in January, I asked when it was going to be ready and they told me about the “express passport” (the one you get immediately but you pay additional 12k . I told my husband not to pay that we will wait till 2 weeks time. We went back and they started telling us no booklet....my husband got a connect and kept calling the guy to alert him once they got booklets. In February they called me to come and get it.

Too many Accidents happen on the express oo. In this case fake passport could be the accident. And ut hurts more when it is discovered in wherever you are travelling to only to face deportation due to fake express kpale. I'm just saying though...

Why must Nigerians suffer before they get what they entitled to get from Federal Government? such as BVN, NIN, international Passport , promotion letter, clearings letters , Certificate of occupancy and others

Oga there is booklet..this is Nigeria..it happen to me the officer said passport is 45k but there is no booklet..I said I no there is no booklet but I will pay 70k for it due to my urgent need of it ..he said hmmm I should come ..I went that day and have my passport..guy this naija

Passport is available, they are only hording it, I did mine 29th December 2020 -express , got it same day before 4:30pm, while those that applied over a month before me are still lurking around there office complaining.

This country is a shame, I have to path with huge some to get what I wanted because I I needed it urgently at all cost.

I got mine one week after I applied.....

If you think the scarcity you speak of is bad, wait until you are in a situation where there is a Nigerian Embassy
that does not process nor accept passport renewals nor new applications.

Makes you wonder why there is an Embassy in the first place.

Makes you wonder why there is an Embassy in the first place.

Really? That is bad, really unacceptable. Which country is this embassy? What is the point of the embassy then?

It doesn't make sense that we outsource stuff like passport printing. Let us give it to a local company to produce. Why did anyone sign some kind of "lifetime" agreement with a foreign company? This can't be usurp and hijack. Every damn thing is imported. It is crazy.

i apply some weeks ago, no one issue they raised is my NIN is not yet drop, 2 they say no booklet is available now. and i need this passport like any thing ... pls what can i do, any help

The same passport i did for my whole household within a month? May be it depends on the state you are.
