Knowing how futile it is to find any such reference , they had to hold on to Job 1:4 which raises many Questions.

To cover the use of his day means day of birth what did those who translated your Bible did

Job 1: 4 Each of his sons would hold a banquet at his house on his own set day.* They would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.........NWT 2013

*Or “at the house of each one in his turn.”

It was after this that Job began to speak and to curse the day of his birth.*.......NWT 2013

*Lit., “curse his day.”

Job 1:4 And his sons went and held a banquet+ at the house of each one* on his own day; and they sent and invited their three sisters to eat and drink with them......NWT 1984

Job 3:1 It was after this that Job opened his mouth and began to call down evil upon his day ......NWT 1984

Added own 1984 went further to add set 2013 grin grin grin.......

Yet it's all futile as the same translation told us his day means day of his birth

If it were birthdays, How then could the females be mere invitees and not celebrants considering they have a day of birth too? This is not a case of scriptures Been silent, the text is clear that this feast was done by only the sons. Which invalidates the idea of Birthdays.

When a man does something and a woman is not mentioned as doing same it means what is done by the men has no validation? grin grin
Bro we can even infer that Job also honours his day of birth with thanks to God, but becos of his difficulties we see his anger and pain torwards his day of birth.

Genesis 40:20, Matthew 14:6, Jesus knew pagans celebrated birthdays.
2 Corinthians 6:14 & John 15:15, is Jesus against pagan practices- celebration of birthdays & Christmas his Father did not approve?
grin grin grin.

****2
The apostle Jesus converted, says Romans 15:4 and Galatians 4:8-11 were written to teach you that @ 2 Corinthians 6:14, Genesis 40:20, Matthew 14:6 and Exodus 32:2-9, Jehovah God does NOT approve "special days" of pagans, pagan practices you FALSELY claim to do for his praise.
But God himself gave Israelites special days and new moons to hold feasts.
Is God pagan?

Of course they are MODERN DAY servants of JEHOVAH searching the scriptures to figure out what could be wrong with Christianity and why are the fruitage not manifesting globally as expected? Matthew 7:16-18; John 13:34-35 huh

So as the light continue to get brighter and brighter {Proverbs 4:18} they were making changes until they are able to wash away all those filthy pagan customs {Revelations 7:14} hindering the Holy Spirit from manifesting in their midst. Romans 6:1

That's why today it's only within this group that all the qualities of God's Holy Spirit can be seen, unlike others worshiping and expecting God to come down and remove Nepotism, Racism and Politics, JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are quenching all the missiles that Satan is firing about causing hatred and WARS throughout the earth! Of course God's word clearly told us that we don't need those laws anymore to come closer to our God {Galatians 3:23-25} but by observing the attitude of those who laid down the foundation of Christianity we will learn all requirements {Hebrews 13:7} do you still remember what those who became believers in Ephesus did with books they were using for spiritism? Act 19:17-20 smiley

So do you have to twist Bible inorder to prove your false lies.
Where in the Bible is it written that Satan was the one that showed the wisemen star?
I already told you that Christianity is not about written laws but principles written in the hearts of adherents through meditation on the heritage of God's people {Jeremiah 31:33} so if you're not interested in our heritage you may continue with your birthday celebration.

Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord.

An many said their birthday is special to them and does so to the Lord. But you Janosky says you know more than the same person Jesus converted grin grin grin the reason you added

FALSELY claim to do for his praise

And Paul's words followed

Who are you to judge the servant of another?

Are you the educated literate the master of these people to say what they do is FALSE?

To his own master he stands or falls.

Are you (the educated literate) the owner and their master?

Indeed, he will be made to stand, for the Lord can make him stand.

Even on top of their "FALSE CLAIM" the Lord can make them stand grin grin grin grin
All this long story because you add your own command to Deuteronomy 4:2 & 12:32 & Revelation 22:18-19.

Na that same holy spirit your founding fathers like Russell, Rutherford e.t.c do those celebrations up there despite. The holy spirit didn't remind them of Leviticus 18:3.

Clown, you can stop to amuse me. Is better you write your own bible.

You are replacing God's law with principles?

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love

Where did Jesus mention in the above verses principles
or in the Bible were it is written that we will live by principles?

If that's true by whose principles?

Am not surprised your Church is known for false teaching and doctrines.

Are christains supposed to mourn since pagans do it?
I like this your question. There's no single practice in the church or any Christian assembly that pagans do not have its photocopy/version.

The person who is serving Satan does what is doing to glorify Satan while the person serving God does his own to glorify God.

As for me who 1st start am no be anything, but who you have in mind for doing it.

The gentiles come follow dey do animal sacrifice, Paul said their own (i.e the gentiles') is for Satan.

*. Genesis 31:54 "KJV:Then JACOB OFFERED SACRIFICE UPON THE MOUNT, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount."

*. Acts 14:13 "KJV:Then THE PRIEST OF JUPITER, which was before their city, BROUGHT OXEN and garlands unto the gates, AND WOULD HAVE DONE SACRIFICE with the people."

*. 1 Corinthians 10:20 "KJV:But I say, that THE THINGS WHICH THE GENTILES SACRIFICE, THEY SACRIFICE TO DEVILS, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils."

Trying to claim that you are superior christians to others because of birthday party and Christmas day celebration is ERROR.

I have never celebrated my birthday but I don't condemn those who are doing it (i.e. if no sin is involved).
We are adviced to invite our friends and invite a preacher who will preach to them during the celebration. That way, some souls can be won into the kingdom and Jesus will be glorified. No buying/drinking of alcohol, no worldliness of any type. If you know you can't keep to these, better no do am.

Did Jesus taught that couples should wear wedding wrings or flowers for wedding or burial?
The things watch tower point fingers at others, they have their own version of it.

This is one of the reasons it seems as if people are against them, when the same thing is pointed to them.

Flowers for burial ground, mourning, coffin, wedding wrings, kisses, etc, are all pagans practices; or show us where Jehovah gave you go ahead.
