The spare parts for all the trims you listed are readily available, depends on your location though. But there is no spare part you won't find at Ladipo spare parts market in Lagos.

Run a VIN check on the vehicle.

Look out for signs of rust on the vehicle's frame....

Don't run the risk of buying used cars/Toks with costly hidden problems

Know what you're buying before it's too late.

Avoid that mistake before you buy!

Major accident damage? Flood damage? Odometer Fraud? Avoid making a potentially costly mistake when buying a used/tokunbo car.

I just decide to change the engine, cus of too much wahala.

now the challenge is car entering cruise control while driving, and dashboard will come up with engine malfunction.

thou this has been der before change of engine, it do occur once in a while, anytime it occur, I put off the engine and put it ON again, and everything work fine.

now the frequency of occurrence is quite high.

computer detect a sensor arnd the nozzle, the sensor was replaced. still the overheating persist.

BMW customer care relate with, they ask us to change the thermostat, given us a particular type of thermostat to be use, we get exact thermostat at Gudu auto market, still the problem persists.

Was it a used one?
PS, Computer would give you a code, this is the code you throw here for the onward suggestion/giagnosis, telling you it was a sensor without giving you a fault code is shortchanging you!

Hello house,

I have been using Honda Accord cars consistently for more than 8years and considering switching to another brand for once and BMW has always come to my mind.

I want to seek your advise on the cost of maintenance, costs of spare parts and fuel consumption compared to other brands like Toyota and Honda Accord.

Thank you.

The GT model is quite ugly. Go for the sedan.. check out this lot number 30040348 on iaai if not sold. Very clean, was eyeing it earlier today but I'm scared of anything turbo

Looks clean but get a closer look. Go for a test drive, go with a BMW technician that has BMW scanner that can scan deeply and not a generic scanner. Could get you a technicians number of you want. Get the service history, what oil is used, ask for transmission service history as well. Check for oil sludge, coolant presence and thermostat.
Take note of all lights on the dashboard, watch out for the fuel pumps performance as well. Do check for leaks as well on the roof, foot wells, trunk etc

There's nothing like 'nothing to fix' in any car o, even tokunbo needs some fix
