FG through AMCON is the largest shareholder of the Bank.
[quote author=Redoil post=100986453]Insiders squealed to us that the bank’s board may have perfected plans to sack her as the board has lost confidence in her leadership because she has failed to turn around the fortunes of the bank.

GTB profits have dropped by 10%. Traced to a huge drop in interest income. Will be interesting to see the review of the analysts from the broking houses. Stock prices may dip in the coming days and weeks especially if Zenith follows with a similar pattern of results.

UBA results will be seen more as audio profits wink. Till UBA shakes body and pay correct dividends in line with reported profits like GTB and Zenith that pay nearly half of profits in dividends.

GTB has been messing up lately.

Even their banking service is no longer reliable.

But GTB still grew deposits faster than other big banks last year except for UBA that grew the most (perhaps due to foreign ops). What else can one use to measure reliability or likeability of service than rate of deposit growth ?

Well, I can't figure out what's going with GTB right now, but I hope the HOLDCO agreement isn't affecting them.

A lot of internal restructuring might be happening to Fastrack the HOLDCO arrangement.

The moment you join a global financial market such as the cryptocurrency market, as an African for instance, you are indirectly benefitting from the bad fiat devaluation system.

You start to realize, why despite inflation, hunger and starvation, many are not complaining. Remember I wrote a note about edging your funds in stablecoins (similar to dollars) if you think the cryptocurrency market is too volatile and you can't cope with the madness!

whoever is in charge of suppressing naira, please carry go and don't forget to print more of it so that it can continue to flood the market and depreciate more and more while we in the global financial market benefit from it.

Let me apologize to you reading this if you find this offensive and you think I support evil, I don't. I despite and shun evil. Nonetheless, we MUST understand that fiat (such as naira) devaluation system is intentional to make the elites rich with "over populated money"

I don tell you many times, until you understand how money (the game plan) works, you will continue to ask "where una dey see this money"

Nigeria as a case study, elites, pilgrimage have easy access to forex.which the masses can't access.

They take foreign currencies they have easy access to (at cheaper rates) and use these currencies to mop off naira in our local markets making them even richer.

As tech will have it, cryptocurrency came with good tidings. It makes it easy for all of us to have access to foreign currencies and enjoy weak fiat (such as naira) devaluation system without limit. If your ultimate savings plan is solely in naira, sorry, but you're working hard to achieve the past!

Don't end money printing, let it go there...

Technically with the current status of the country. You should not be earning less than 12pa on any Naira investment.

FBNH giving Access and UBA a good run...
FBNH: 7.40
ACCESS: 7.50/7.60
UBA: 7.25

Don't forget that FBNH was marked down for dividend on 20/04/2021.

Stay tuned and keep watching how the race is progressing....... grin

@Samguru your company issued apology o.
SEC referred to First Registrar, First Registrar was clueless.
Seems they received more than enough complaints from investors, so they had to do something.
Next line of action is waiting for regulatory approval now.......let's see how long this takes again. cheesy

GTB has some level of 'goodwill' though........if the HOLDCo is favourable, don't expect much downside singly........my opinion.

Please does anybody know when Mobil will pay off the dissenting shareholders?

I thought I read April 16th as the deadline to pay somewhere.

Shouldn’t the company be required to pay dividends to dissenters if they have not been paid off by 29 April that is dividend qualification date?
