goatgoat093:You are naive. When ESN strikes, they kill fellow Igbo, when businesses are burnt down in Abia, most will belong to the Igbos. What's the purpose of the insurgency. Again, you may not like what the OP said, but the images we are seeing shows ESN is not ready for this kind of warfare. There is no forest in the East to hide ESN (South East is largely built up) as the case maybe with the BH, it then means that most of the fights will be in the open areas and most time innocent civilians will be victim. I think the East should review their strategy, the costs of this present approach will be very costly. |

AbaLion:Declared is different from doing. Ipob has said they will do many things which they never did. The governors intelligence vindicated them, saying politicians using external forces were responsible for the attacks on state facility. Who are the external forces?? ![]() |

The Nigerian army beating their chest, lost an officer and numerous soldiers even with their armoured tanks and helicopters. And who were they fighting ? A rag tag outfit based on volunteers. I don’t support violence but the opinion of the op has huge gaping holes in it’s logic , exposure to military strategy and historical facts . |

AbaLion:You just have to understand the fact that Imo state is less hardened when it comes to Biafran issues ... Ebonyi state and Abia state have more supporters and hardened men who believes in the struggle.. So the death if Ikonso is likely not going to have negative influence... |

AbaLion:We repeat the 1967 mistake all over again. You don't go to war without being prepared. When would my people learn? Nnamdi kanu has never been a strategy leader. His style of leadership keeps leading many to an early grave. This is not what we need. We need wise leaders not another hasty fool. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. |

AbaLion:For the fact that Seun of this Nairaland can bring this kind of hate write up to front page, proves he is a hater of South Easterners and anything Igbo. The writer did not only insult Ipob but deviated to insult the good people of Ohanaze world wide. ALL IGBOS SHOULD HENCEFORTH DELETE THIER ACCOUNT FROM NAIRALAND , The owners are anti Igbo. This rubbish write up shouldn't have come to front-page. I do not sympathise with IPOB but the writer deviated to insult ndi Igbo and it's allowed . This is not right. ![]() The writer is even praising Boko haram, Bandits and other terrorist and it's allowed on front page ?? Just because an element against ndi Igbo is there ? This shit must have been written by a Boko haram terrorist that has a Nairaland account or Thier sympathiser . |

One ikonso dead, a million more to rise, ikonso was not born when southeast held Nigeria to a three-year war. The Fulani militia are using southern money to buy weapons to kill southern youths, |

AbaLion:Biafra agitation, Igbo freedom is bigger than Nnamdi Kanu or anybody. It's a dream, an ideology, more like a religion which never dies. Nnamdi Kanu is a nobody when it comes to Biafra or Igbo sovereignty. Igbos are only supporting him because he is doing what Igbos desire which is actualization of Igbo sovereignty. If Nnamdi Kanu dies today, Biafra agitation continues. The death of Ojukwu or his contesting for President under Nigerian politics didn't stop Biafran dream talk more of young Nnamdi Kanu of yesterday. Before Nnamdi Kanu there was Uwazuruike and many more waiting. What Buhari and the ill-advised present federal government of Nigeria is doing is winning more Igbos on the side of Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra. The more FG uses force to clamp down on IPOB and ESN leaving Fulani herdsmen militant that gave birth to creation of ESN, the more they convince well meaning Igbos home and abroad that truly Biafra must be fought for at all cost, and that spell doom cos what's delaying Biafra actualization is the fact that many well to do Igbos and politicians have been indifferent and not really committed to actualization of Biafra as they still believe in Nigerian project. But with bloody clampdown on IPOB's ESN by FG, there will be sentiments on Igbo camp which will lead to massive support for ESN and this may lead to escalation of the crises that may result to full blown Civil War. Na like play like this war de start. And you cannot compare Boko Haram or Bandits with ESN because ESN is fighting a just fight for a people freedom while Boko Haram and Bandits are just fighting for no solid or known reason. Freedom fighting is always a bloody fight that last centuries and destroys nations if not handled with care and that may be the case of Nigeria if Buhari doesn't slow down on his hatred for Igbos. So forget about ESN tactics or whatever now, if this bloody clampdown continues, more Igbo youths will join out of volunteer and this will lead to formation of a full ethnic military which won't be well with the whole nation. You guys cheering Buhari and his government on will be regretting it at the end if at all you survive to tell the story. Lest I forget, this senseless tribalism of Buhari leading to multiple agitation by various tribes in Nigeria is also costing Nigeria so much because Nigeria is losing heavy investments as more Nigerians especially Igbos in Nigeria and diaspora who are known for investing massively in building and business development all over Nigeria are getting more and more discouraged from investing outside Igbo land and Nigeria in general as they become more worried of the future of one Nigeria |

AbaLion:The Nigerian army has not been able to penetrate Boko Haram, bandits hideouts. If you want to know why go and ask Pantami. By the time you get answers you might have fully grown up on what is happening in this country. |

. In all these your epistural garbage and forced attempts at sounding cognitive and smart, did it ever cross those hollow-brained humpty dumpty skulls of yours whether ESN has a broad chain of command that is more sophisticated and largely covert from public eye? I'm sure the ESN organization wouldn't be so naive to focus all their leadership and conmand structure in just one location in Imo state where the military can easily gain access to through tip offs and other means of intelligence gathering. I suffice it safe and reasonable to say ESN is a loosely organized quasi-military organization with several "unknown" locations that could range from surrounding forest landmarks, hidden operational bases in remote villages, inner cities etc...ESN isn't like ISWAP or other sophisticated cells that have a more centralized operational base or location where all the fighters take orders from, neither does ESN have a structure or hierarchy of leadership or ranks in place. So basically now that Commander Ikonso has been killed and his base neutralized, another "commander" will easily take his place and operate from a more nondescript location this time from which he and his men can attack military/police facilities to wreck more havoc, seize weapons and then melt into thin air like we've seen unfold from the Unknown gunmen attacks.
Nothing like that over here lia lie!!
