They have been making thier intentions known for a very long time. Let them go. No sector in Nigeria can be boast of. If thier governor is part of people sabotaging thier route to freedom, you go ahead and crush. No empathy for anyone who doesn't want my freedom. Chigboboss: 1 Like |

AbaLion: I addition, kanu is a scammer and a coward. If not where is he? He's hiding somewhere and allow innocent young people to waste their lives for nothing. Apart from those ones ranting on nairaland, how many serious IBO people buy into his nonsense struggle? Biafra may be actualized but definitely not under Kanu. I also blame all these on this government that's clueless about everything. If they had handled this ipob as well as security issue in the right manner, we may not have been having this problem now. This country is just messed up. |

Well unfortunately they do not have the capacity to use violent force to achieve their freedom. It was attempted 50 years ago (with better preparation & allies) and failed. Secession is only gotten peacefully & lawfully through our duly elected representatives. But they obviously think they are capable like Late Dim Ojukwu did at first before later repenting & pledging allegiance to Nigeria after millions killed, so here we are. What was previously bad in the SE will end up worse. Imagine what would happen to the multi billion naira hospitality industry in Imo if this violence is sustained. You think anyone can go to the markets with the sound of bomb-laden fighter jets over their heads? It is profitable to be wise. ThisCouldBeUs: ThisCouldBeUs: 1 Like |

The OP is still a daft though, forcing grammar and having poor articulation. But, I'm sorry, Eastern Igbos know nothing other than business. Same foolhardiness that led Ojokwu to war without tactics and alliance still propels this criminal, low-intelligence half-albino, called Nnadi Kanu. Foolhardiness, impulse, rashness, and loud boisterousness have also being the bane of Igbos. 3 Likes |

This time we are sophisticated more than what the eyes can see. You see how one man was gun down and the Entire Nigerian military Architecture dey jump up dey jubilate...... when 7 of theirs went below. Na one person dey kill ooo. We know what we're waiting for. |

NiceMen: Indeed they are terrorists by every defiition of the word. If they think they have the force to break out through violence, then the Army, Navy, Airforce, DSS etc. are available to do their jobs. No insurgency has ever, and will ever have the capacity to overwhelm Nigeria. Whether Maitatsine, Ombatse, IPOB, Herdsmen, Bandits or whatever. Even Boko Haram with their massive resources & links to ISIS have been struggling to overwhelm us for the past 11 years yet have been succesfully contained in 1 or 2 states in the region they are based. Embrace the only peaceful & lawful means to Biafra which is through elected reps in NA. If you don't trust the current ones, ensure the right ones are put in come 2023. Otherwise my brother anything else that includes violent force will be met by the Military's regular trademark. we don't want the east to be the next South Sudan. 1 Like |

Remember, Yusuf, the first Leader of Book Haram was killed but they waxed stronger. Barrels of gun doesn't resolve conflicts but can temporary subdue it. Fake leaders spending money and resources on useless war that can be settled through dialogue. |

amboh: Direct your request to lucifer! God has no interest in wanting to sustain such a evil contraption that thrives on the blood of innocents! In a sane country....one built on the values of justice, fairness and liberty, a sovereign national conference would have been convoked long before things degenerated to this level! The number one stumbling block that prevents this from happening are the greedy, insecure, Islamic fundamentalist and superior-feeling core northern political/clerical/traditional elite, who want to eat their cake and still have it! |

This writer must be a yoruba man Always glorifying when misfortune happened to Igbos , meanwhile their main oppressor is waiting to slaughter them in their forest Forgotten that any attack on ESN and IPOB is an attack on the East |

oldbende: My own take is, fight for freedom wisely, not launching attacks on the military and the police set ups. No matter how much you think IPOB has, the evil government of the day does not lack money at all. Mind you, Bokoharam that I don't see what they fight for is more funded than IPOB. Many things you people based abroad feel you do only lead to death of your people at home. Biko! |
