Business development office or bank marketing role is not on the occupation list.
Marketing specialist is on the list but it’s a specialised role and not for marketers

Thanks for the info, No pension and tax was deducted monthly without any evidence to the staff

That will be difficult to prove to the Case officers without tax or pension documents

First degree is required in Education. You may have to send an email to AITSL (the assessing body)

You can’t combine occupations.
You can however assess two different occupations but Vetassess will not approve a reference letter covering years you are a lecturer as geologist.
5 years course is good then.
There are no specific scores. States determine scores and occupations they want.
For example, a 65 can get Invitation in SA in a trade occupation whereas 85 may be required for a university lecturer in the same state to get ITA

Ok. Thank you. I intend to assess as a life science technician. There are specialisations one being Zoology technician. This is ok, right? My question is what if i do the assessment now and then the new list comes out(1st of July right?) and my nominated occupation isn't there anymore? Especially since it's state nomination and most statesare closed. I feel like I should wait for the new list before i go ahead with the assessment. What do you think?

Life science technician is good if you role aligns to it.
The decision to assess is yours. New list doesn’t come out in July. State only updates the occupation they want to nominate.
DHA updates information about occupation that will be removed before July. In most cases, life science is not an occupation that I feel will be removed from the list.

You don’t have to work with a corporate to assess for the Skilled migration. If you are self employed, ensure your business is registered and you pay taxes to the government and all your business documentations are great including your invoices

I was thinking maybe i should asses for just biochemistry which is by Vetasses. the problem is i am just too impatient to wait until i complete my masters program because of all the issues and insecurity going on right now.

Oh! I didn’t know there is MLS IVF on the list. I only see MLS and MLT.
AIMS gives every MLS applicant medical laboratory technician in their assessment outcome. You can only become MLS after writing and passing the professional exam.
With Vetassess, you must have post qualification experience. Vetassess is a level 1 occupation which means your university must be a tier 1 university or you had a 5 year course in your first degree.

Pay through your local bank in Nigeria raising form 20 or whatever it is called.

Buy dollar equivalent from BDC or abokis and deposit in your dorm account, then do wire transfer.

Lastly, find someone who can help you pay in Australia while you pay Naira equivalent.

1. Yes, Barristers and Solicitors are in demand everywhere including Australia. Until you complete an assessment and English test, you can't award yourself points.

2. Depending on how easy you are able to provide documentations required. However, you cannot get a positive assessment straight. You need to be called to the bar in Australia prior to having a positive assessment.
The law profession is not like science that is universal. You will likely be subject to take some Australian law courses before a positive assessment. This may take you 2 years to complete.

You don't need to have tax clearance for the 8 years. You can use pension statement, bank statement and payslip in addition to the tax certificate.

I studied agricultural engineering both in first and masters degree at Unilorin and Futa respectively.

However, where I’m having a bit of issue is the work experience and pension confirmation.

The experiences I can say I have in agricultural engineering are in Elizade University Farm (2 years, farm manager) and a private farm as the project manager (3 years). In Elizade university farm, I was paid with cheque for the first year and normal salary payment for 2nd year. And in the private farm I was payed regularly for 3 years.

Please how do I arrange for my pension and all my payment documentation that is deem approvable.
