We've had the talent to reach WC finals,I don't know about winning it.
But currently we don't have the talent yet to reach WC semis ,
BTW,talent alone can't win u world cup.
We don't have a laid down plan to win a WC.
We don't have a very good tactician to win WC.

Yes, we do. A team that parades Osimhen , Kelechi , Onyekuru , Nwakali, Ebuehi , Chukwueze ,Akpoguma, Awaziem, Balogun, Nwakali etc should play as contenders. But thats where the tactician comes in.

Yet , he has not being able to orchestrate our midfield.

He plays AMF or SS and he has 9 goals in 44 well on course to score more goals for Nigeria than Kanu and okocha for Nigeria. We obviously need more competition in that position but he hasn't been bad for Nigeria

Stop being DELUSIONAL. in order to win the world cup, you need like 5 World class players. A world class Defender, Midfielder, Attacker, Winger and Striker. Right now, our best bet is R16, QF. It is imperative for our boys to sign for the best clubs in the world to even have a chance of playing QF. For now, let's be humble and Qualify first

Sir, please, I don't want to appear offensive but we Africans have to do better when we make arguments.

Nwakali is not average and I will explain. The boy won MVP at the U17 and with his amazing football gifts all he could get as an African was a loan deal from Arsenal who signed him. In his first season with a club in Holland he was terrific and later he was loaned out to another club where he met misfortune and suffered almost a season with a club football. So , when people make statements like the one you made let's tell the whole story.

As for Iwobi, being English puts him ahead of Nwakali whether the later is more talented or not. Iwobi was promoted to Arsenal first team from the academy....may I remind you Nwakali never got anything close to that. Iwobi kept fumbling but nonetheless he still got a club to field him.....thats the privilege African players never enjoy. With all your talent you will always be a second option or third.

If it wasn't for the injuries that Brendan Rogers favourite boys suffered he would not might to keep Iheanacho on the bench and frustrate him out.

Again , we Africans have to do better because we have brains. So, lets argue like smart people. Lets stop being unnecessarily emotional and narrow minded.

cheap drugs don finally mess up ur head

See I like Osimhen but Haaland is going to be in the Ronaldo, Messi conversation in the next couple of years and Osimhen is not that level
U not going to see another
Messi,
Ronaldo 7,
Ronaldo 9,
Pele,
Maradona,
Ronaldinho,
Zidan.
and our own Okocha.

These players r uniquely extraordinary in their own different ways,
Almost none of them r similar in their style of play.
Yet everytime u would hear people saying next Messi,
Next Ronaldo, next this next that, none of the players eventually would live up to d hype.

We will witness other sets of uniquely extraordinary players,
but not for the next two decades atleast,
when Messi and Ronaldo r long retired.

Would u say that Haaland and Mbape will surpass the height a player like Thienry Henry reached.
For me,attaining Henry's level would b the highest they can reach.

These are Messi /Ronaldo numbers and the guy is barely 20, He has already outscored greats like Ronaldo, Zidane and Adriano in the Champions league

This site is filled with sentimental delusional. Isn't it here that someone said Ndidi is better than Kante or osimehn is overall better than Haaland. The next asanine statements is "Chukwueze is better than Messi" osimehn is talented but he has to surpass or get to haaland level before someone should be saying crazy statements
So why do u always visit the site then,
If the site is filled up with delusional people?

some people said that Ndidi's stats has been better than Kante's for past 2yrs,
And I'm saying now that Haaland has not attained any level that Osimhem cannot easily surpass.
Haaland has not achieved anything in the game of football that a player like Osimhen would b aspiring to achieve.
He has not won champions league,
no world cup trophy,no footballer of the year award,
I don't know if he has won any major personal award.
U see,
Osimhen can boast of having won a junior world cup trophy as youth player.
He can also boast of a bronze medal as senior player,
Plus other personal achievement like the most expensive African player in history at his young age.
Both Haaland and Osimhem are still potentials.
We don't know who would be greater for now, only time will tell us that.
None of them has achieved something legendary .
But we believe and hope they will.

Some posters here are so juvenile, full of gutter language, if you know you want to analyse football, be calm, analytical, logical and expressive, don't be irritating others with your insults and emotional rants...

If you don't know how to analyse, view and learn from those who knows how too, they don't pay anyone here for highest post or winning arguments here, this thread has always been a source of intelligent analysis and witty banters, let's keep it so abeg.

This is going to be a very regretful statement next season.
That's what I was trying to explain to him,12 months alone is enough to change everyone's minds about any player.
I always give any player atleast 4 seasons of professional football before I can say whether he is a top player or going to be.
Don't write anyone off, don't over hype anyone until he has been fully tested

U r only focusing on goals alone,
Look at the legends of the game u were comparing Haaland with,Zidan,Ronaldo 9,
at least we've seen what Ronaldo 9 did with his goals at Haaland's age,and what Zidan has achieved.
What has Haaland achieved with his many goals.
No one is saying he can't achieve but 4 now stop mentioning those legends with him until he does what those greats did with their goals.

I doubt Rashidi ever scored 33 goals in a single season, but I cannot start comparing Onuachu to Rashidi just because he outscored Rashidi in a single season. He need to do it consistently for years
