Gentlesoul3268: Read my previous post, to know the list of documents i submitted for my application, the difference between my case and yours is that I applied alone and you are applying with your family. Pay your monthly salary from the company account to your personal account and ensure its fixed. Do you guys have travel experience as a family ? Do you know anybody in the UK to help reduce your travel expenses ? Why don't both of you apply first before applying for the kids . 1 Like |

Sanmigbola: My husband had a travel experience, while I and kids doesn't .. Are you self employed? Because we are self employed and my husband is the MD/CEO while I'm director. Would I need introduction letter? or what kind of business recommendation that will stated my post and how much I earn ? We don't know anyone in Uk but we have been searching for a cheap hotel for family of 5 we see hotel for 15 days @ rate of 400k 10 days for quarantine and 5 days for moving around lol I will try and go through your previous post but how will be much appreciate if you can listed the documents. |

Have they answered u yet? I submitted my passport same April 8th in Abuja after an allowed appeal n and I have not heard from them....I was told decision was made 29th of April but TLS never get my passport...I don't know why the delay quote author=Cyclops33 post=101587913]Is it Lagos ? Travel experience to where ?? Ensure your introduction letter(no objection letter) is all encompassing i.e stating your position, salary, duration of your leave etc. Work on your strong ties back home like properties etc. I will advice you travel with your husband for the first time to build trust after which you can apply for the kids. warrenweste:pls dnt do wrong test. Health and care visa does not require b1 test. Find out from your employer what they need, then and only then go ahead to pay for the test! |

Sanmigbola: My husband has travel to South Africa before . Please you mention leave letter among the documents you submitted? Is it the same thing as introduction letter ? Please is there a way you can email me the leave letter so i can use it to build up my own leave letter ? Please which one I should write between Leave letter and introduction letter? I will be more appreciate if you can email me the sample of your leave letter to compose mine.. Lastly do you think ECo would not look suspicious that we travel for a vacation without going with our kids? Although I'm suggesting that maybe I should first apply and when I got mine then they can now apply ? |

In my own case I did not use different letters, all I used was just one letter title 'no objection letter' and it was all encompassing, that is it served as my leave letter, introduction letter..... Travelling without the kids will help to show that you have something bringing you back home or you can apply for them after getting yours. Gentlesoul3268: |

Good morning everyone, I am planing to apply for a UK tourist visa, and my current concern is that I do not have payslips because my company doesn't give that. It is a foreign company without an office in Nigeria. However, I have my contract letter and bank statement showing regular inflows from the company since the last 6 months. Please how can I sort this payslip issue to avoid problems with my visa? |

Gentlesoul3268:Going through these threads i see quite a few of you lack confidence and are stressing. An application is not that deep and should be straightforward when you use only genuine documentation.If you are overthinking it then you probably don’t meet all the requirements so trust your intuition. If you are a family that knows no one in the uk instead of staying in a hotel consider an apartment (look online on sites like booking.com and some let you make a reservation then pay on arrival)they you can do your own cooking,have more space and less restrictions. Also, there is no rule that stops a family from going on holiday so leaving your children behind just to show strong ties is a bit full on as they deserve the holiday. Being a first time traveller doesn’t exactly spoil your chances as everyone was a first time traveller at some point.The reason why you are traveling and the time frame matters most for example travelling especially with kids in Oct or January when they should be in school and it is not a medical emergency take things like that into consideration. Always use the highest conversion rate when calculating your money think in local and foreign currency and don’t put in ridiculous sums. If you own a company that is legal,simply show some paperwork like registration and board resolution and/or letter of introduction if you are using money from the company account whether you are listed or not and a letter from the bank to prove the ownership of the company as most have different names from the signatory. Most importantly perhaps avoid offering extra documentation just what is asked for as the more you add,the more you need to explain and confusion enter.The so called agents you use don’t do you any favours as you can do it yourself.The uk embassy does not give preferential treatment so don’t let agents conn you out of your money that could have been used for other things except you really need their help they cannot influence the outcome of your visa. Finally do not lie these people are trained to sniff out false information. Hope this all helps somebody. 1 Like |

Hello house. Please does anyone have issue trying to book a TB (Tuberculosis) test on their site. I have been trying since a week ago and I’m still unable to book an appointment. My school start date is this month and I really need to get the test done soon. Or does anyone have an appointment this month that want to give out. Biko help a brother. |

JJuin03:I would add Contract letter if it shows your remuneration and bank statement should suffice not every company issues payslip.If they can do you a reference letter that should help as well. 1 Like |

Gentlesoul3268: The bolded looks unrealistic, how do you justify shipping over a family of 5 and paying for airfare and for 20 Covid tests in total, only to spend 5 days? Secondly, your hotel bill at N400k for 15 days is also unrealistic, unless you mean you want to rent an apartment. That's still a budget of 40 pounds a day you've worked out there, and I dont think any Airbnb apartment big enough for 5 let alone a hotel room will rent at 40 pounds a day. |

I submitted my visit visa application April 13, biometric done April 21 and up till now I have not heard anything from them. I tracked the app using TLScontact app and it still show app transferred to DMC. Please is this normal? |
