Read that news again and you will see that Garuba Sheu only made vituperation against the Southern governors and that WILL NOT in anyway affect what they had in place.

Infact Garuba already said in the same statement that the grazing reserves will be started by willing states which will be the North.

I know Nairalanders just assimilate news based on headlines so I’m not surprised.

If you also check well, you will see that the statement you gave the link is also excactly the same thing as that of this thread.

The only difference is the headline.

Awaiting your reply!

Is this modified RUGA or Ranching? But on a serious note this Garba Shehu is too amateurish and unnecessarily emotional as d official script writer of d President abi Presidency. How can an ordinary appointee talk with so much venom against a resolution of 17 elected Southern Governors. The good thing is that this puts an end to open grazing thereby endorsing it's ban by Southern Governors but here in d East we are not allocating a reserved area for herders, any one interested in cattle business should buy land and build ranch not Govt emasculating and allocating indigenous land through grabbing to d Fulanis

Don't trust the south eastern government especially imo and Ebonyi state.....

Those guys are evil. They can bow when fg bribe them enough

There are only three times you will ever hear Buhari speak to a nation of over 200million people he is ruling;

1. When he is about jetting out to recharge his dying cells. (If he could escape without anyone knowing, he would have even done so).

2. Anytime people rise up and put tough measures in place to defend theirself against his murderous fulani kinsmen. He will immediately address the nation issuing directives and commands to protect his fulani kinsmen and to deal with anyone challenging them.

3. When he is vexed by any criticism, protest or opposition voices from the southern states, he immediately issues directives and strong command to the armed forces to deal with the youths and people of southern states that challenge his terrible governance, especially the south eastern states.

What a ruler angry

What Garba is saying is the same thing the head of miyeti allah said, the ban is unconstitutional, disregard it!
Have we not learnt anything from the fulani yet? Words mean absolutely nothing to them! Especially now that they are in full swing,

Personally, I think Southern Governors are just trying to buy time till the next elections, as usual, right now it's popular to be seen as 'for the people'

Brilliant press release.

But hate and ethno-religious differences wont make them imbibe.

A lasting and more beneficial resolution would have been reached.

How I wish I could tap into the this venture. Would have just secured a thousand of hectares and rent to this herdsmen across Nigeria with monthly payment terms. But Nigerian banks would request for a head to finance such.

This are big loop holes the private sector should tap into.
Re: Buhari Clears Way For Ranching And Revival Of Forest Reserves by rummmy: 7:35pm On May 24, 2021
Collection of governors have endorsed it,so presidency can not do anything..
Fulani are not the only people in Nigeria.
When Kano banned alcohol sale, presidency did not say anything..but as soon as open grazing is banned, the presidency quickly find it's voice..
Southern governors :2 vs Presidency :1.
the Constitution says citizens can move to any part but not cow............or is cow now a citizen?
Nonsense.....

Southern governor will get it through. One thing about southerners is that we ignorantly attribute too much power to these Fulani guys and drop the ball every time over tantrums without standing as a man.

Remember when Amotekun idea was created, Garuba and Malawi said the same thing that it’s unconstitutional but yet it became a reality and standing till this day.

Just stay tuned, this ban on open grazing will be effected. You can see Tinubu caucus even coming out openly to endorse the ban by the governor in Asaba declaration. It speaks volume.

The difference between me and you is that you tailor everything towards Oduduwa, run away from playing the game and attribute too much power to the Fulani.

I support Oduduwa too but in the interim, are we just gonna be looking and crying that Fulani this Fulani that without taking any drastic action to solve some problems until the Oduduwa become fruition?

I know you have your doubt about total enforcement of the grazing ban which I also do but things require time and will.

We don’t say Killer herdsmen will vanish the forest in the south in 1 month after the ban, but continuous enforcement, investment in securities and bolder steps in equipping state forces with the necessary tools they need will definitely solve the menace.

It’s like this because the governors are not test testing the full strength of their power.

But if the Southern governors eventually drop the ball under the pretext that the FG say this and that, then they are coward because FG cannot stop a union of Southern governors. It’s not possible!

The only political action they will try pulling is saying they will replicate same for southerners in the North like the card Malami played about spare parts.

You see this comment above? This is how intelligent people think.

Garuba clearly out that consenting/willing in that statement and it’s only Nairalanders that follow the bandwagon that will be wailing over this by reading just headline.

The ball is now at the Southern Governors table. Any governor that foolishly betray the accord they agreed on deserves to be lynched.

We attribute too much power to the Fulanis?
Dude they run the damn country no thanks to the senseless zombies that were singing their praises, with the promise of having the next shot at presidency, their kinsmen control every important post, almost like a soft coup!
They kill at will and walk away, when they are caught they end up free, for 6 years and counting they have held the country to ransom, we are still talking about Ruga going on the 7th year, just as Miyeti allah promised you all,
You all ignore threads on Villages that have been taken over by Fulanis,

My only issue is that this wickedness by some of you will affect ALL of us!

PS: Amotekun won't protect anyone, just as I predicted, it is a child of 'Nigeria' , and is bound to fail

Bros my issue with all these grazing nonsense is that it we are all pretending like we all believe it is about cows,

Do you honestly believe all these killing and mayhem and taking over people's lands is because of food for cows??

No I don’t believe that.

I believe there are hidden agenda with the killings and it’s more than just cows.

However there is a reason why the grazing reserves ban is important. If after actioning the ban, we can be sure that any Fulani that portray themselves as being herders is a threat coz the real herders would have gone to Kano/North grazing reserves in their numbers.

Then it will be more easier to waylay these guys and take the bull by the horn more coz it’s not a case of persecution against the Fulani that the FG might exploit.

I know what I’m saying might not make perfect sense, but I hate it when southerners continue to cry and behave helplessly anytime the Fulani man name is mentioned.

If we all fold our hand and start saying Oduduwa will come and we will solve this once and for all, how many of us will continue to die before Oduduwa Republic comes? That doesn’t even stop herdsmen problem totally coz these marauders are doing rubbish in Ghana and some African countries too.

Fair enough you have your own line of argument which seems valid too.

However I keep asking you time and time again, what modalities do you think will be the optimal solution to achieve the Oduduwa?

Rallies from Igboho? Do you know OPC led the same kind of secessionist idea before? Nothing new in what Igboho is doing. Social media just gave it more coverage because the world has changed from the early 2000 era.

What I’m asking is what are we doing differently this time around to secure Oduduwa republic? Rallies and abuse online? Twitter and Facebook vituperations?

And this important law will be enforced by the police and army? The same ones that whip people that refuse to allow herders graze?
Or are you going to park your car and enforce it?
You are not paying attention to your damn country! When the fulani were taking over all 3 arms of government and sensible people were screaming, this is the effect!
Your laws are weightless

You remember those OPC guys that arrested Wakili? They are still in jail,

Oduduwa would be achieved when enough yorubas understand their state of current slavery isn't their destiny, despite what their pastors, imam and politicians say

Agreed we are omo alade but you are still evading the question.

If people like you without strategy are who we put Oduduwa destinies in their hand then I fear it won’t come in 50years.

We need to do things differently, that is what differentiates achievers and talkers. We can’t continue to use the same tactics that doesn’t work.

Organizing rallies, Facebook comments, Twitter comments won’t get us Oduduwa. We need to pressurize the leaders first, how can we handicap Tinubu and etc to buy into the Oduduwa by fire by force?

How can we handicap Pa Adebanjo to buy the idea, remember ge chose rsstructuring over Oduduwa just today? How can we handicap Makinde et. Al, the Kings, the wealthy, the decisions makers.

I’m taking about daring ways to get these guys to the table by fire by force!

Yes we have the common man on our side. But common man alone won’t give you Oduduwa, I repeat it won’t.

Even if you want to go to war, you still need those folks up there or else we will all die like chickens. You need money, connections, resources, to win wars and not Facebook comment waiting on America to declare a truce.

You will pe lepe like Yoruba say!
