Thanks for your prompt response. 6541 is not applicable. He works with a Federal Government Paramilitary agency and not a private firm.

Also, I am having difficulty in completing my profile. I logged out and now, I can't even see all the details that I have added and saved. Once I log in, it keeps throwing me back to the eligibility page.

Work history for spouse goes into personal history (after ITA) since you aren’t claiming points for it

Hello, Good day
Please did you do a self study for the BCS exam?

In the spirit of celebrating every milestone, I passed my BCS!!!!! First and last attempt. I've been on a high since I checked, I'm so thankful to God cz eh no be by my power especially for someone with zero IT background.
I passed my IELTS as well. Got L 9, and the rest 7.5. To God be the glory.

Wes coincidentally sent me a mail today estimating my report to be out on September 25th but now I want to add a second credential, I'm guessing the date would be moved? Or will I be getting two reports?

You can leave it blank. Many people don't put the spouse's work history pre ITA so that they don't have to run around getting documents to prove it post ITA.

After ITA, you can just put his work experience in personal history and no documents will be required to prove anything.

You don't need to fill his work experience now ooo, you'll only do that when you're filling his personal history.

Good morning. I actually didn't want to derail the thread.
I approached my former employer for my reference and he asked me to get a sample for him to work with as he hasn't done it before and doesn't want to get it wrong.
So please, anyone that has used noc 1241 and succeeded in getting a nomination or ppr should please help me with a sample
Thank you in advance

You and your employer can draft the job description together. This person did great listing what they do and checking that it tallies with NOC 1241....... go and do likewise:

Do not copy and paste the NOC....all the best!

@gurus please
What is your wife’s NOC? Then you can look into PNP from Ontario and New Brunswick.
How many years work experience does she ?
What’s her highest degree? Age?
If you use the CRS calculator, she might just be eligible as PA for FSW.

Hi everyone, pls I need an advice as to who should be the primary applicant.

Wife is 28yrs and hubby is 36yrs

Wife is a lawyer.. currently evaluating with iqas and husband has 2 or more certificates evaluating with Wes

Wife is practicing on her own on a part time basis..also volunteering with an NGO. She also joins the family business which is registered but without pay.

Husband is self employed..in the family business..IT, printing and computer related. Has over 5 yrs work experience in IT, printing and computer.

Simulated CRS score if the wife is the principal applicant with the hubby evaluating his results only is 463 but with him taking IELTS with the evaluation is 481

If the hubby is the principal applicant the score is 376, but he has a good work experience with proof.

Question is who should be the principal applicant? Would the wife's part time and unpaid work experience not have effect when registering for the EE profile?

I've gone through various threads but I need answers that are peculiar to this situation. Thanks in advance.

if she works over 30 hours a week she can use it as full time, if lesser than 30 hours, 2 years part-time experience equals to 1 year full time. Its on ircc website simply Google part time express entry. Unpaid work cannot be used

1. Wife practicing on her own on a part time basis. This is self employed.

If the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

2. Volunteer experience don’t count as work experience.

3. Working with family business without pay means you are volunteering. You might want to get an employment contract and ask them to start paying you.

Sorry pls, just a question,
I was simply wondering that since the spouse employment status does not really contribute any significant score, can't this field be left blank? or simply indicate "Not Applicable (NA)" . The stress of the documentation seems worthless considering the fact that spouse's employment status does not add any meaningful point. Is this a compulsory requirement? Can't I just say my spouse sits at home and helps with the kids? undecided
