When a man thinks deeply, he will come to acknowledge the existence of God. A deep reflection about nature, the solar system and creation should make a mortal man know there is SOMEONE behind the scene. Rather than seek for knowledge, some choose to intentionally ignore the reality that beckons to them and make conclusions. They claim lack of evidence as the basis for their ideology. Sooner or later, all will come to definitely ACKNOWLEDGE there is God whether they like it or not. It is just a matter of time.

I believe in someone who made man, nature and the entire creation. He is infinite, immortal, powerful and way beyond the intellect of man because he gifted man (his creation) intellect in the first place. I believe there is someone behind everything that we see. He is the creator of the universe.

This is the God I believe in. There are more things about Him that I believe. However, I will stop here for now.

Let me give you a hint. If you are asked in your biology WAEC to describe an insect. You will definitely tell the examiner about its wing, legs compound eyes, abdomen...etc..

Describe your God in like manner. So that when I see it I will be able to recognize it..

You described your god as a "he" tell me does he have a private part, curly hair, 5 fingers. Does your God defecate or urinate. Does he have sex...stuff like that..

Secondly you must change your morals, Jesus never preached Christianity on Earth, he preached good morals, be honest, be truthful, be kind, help the poor, assist the needy, avoid fornication...etc.

From here, once you begin to the journey towards attaining perfection, build a relationship with God, (read your Bible and pray regularly) continue this process and sooner or later God will make contact with you through his holy spirit.

Okay... Good. I also agree He is not a man. He isn't "nothing" either as your last post suggested.

I believe this God wants us to know Him. That is where a lot of mortals are missing it. From the evidence based folks to the religious ones.....

However, I believe there is a connection between mortal man and the Immortal God. A sincere quest to know him wouldn't go unanswered . Religion isn't the answer to finding and knowing God. It is way beyond that.

The starting point for such a journey is to know He exists. To be candid with you, there are a lot of things I may not be able to explain to you. I believed and have come to KNOW some things about this God. The entry point for every individual is the same though the experiences that leads us to the entry point could very well vary / differ. The most important thing thing is to get to that point where one believes He is through faith in Christ Jesus. A whole lot of things will start to unfold from there about God.

Being a church goer (religious person) ISN'T the same as being a Christian as a lot of people erroneously think. Walking about in the campus of a university doesn't automatically translate to studentship right... Being a student of a university is by admission and not visitation or strolling about.
