Well I'm working with the assumption that Nigerians are tired and wiser now so they will choose the right person from the polls.

It takes a special degree of apathy and callousness to even posit that this administration is one to pledge loyalty and support to.

I always ponder on the nature of man and how much can buy basic human decency.

From my observations I don't think that is the case. Citizens maybe tired but still very much divided across ethnic and religious lines. And if these sentiments that clog our eyes are not deliberately removed, the majority will keep voting in regurgitated and repackaged men into power who has contributed in making Nigeria what it is today.

I warned my friends who were championing Buhari’s cause that things might not go as they hoped for.

They are lucky they aren’t in Nigeria, if not hunger for bad.

I can't even opine or posit when it will be over, I'm always praying it doesn't get worse than this.

This is the worst times I have seen since I started making decisions for myself. Hard to see the positives

I often thought history was supposed to serve as a guide or something to humans, but perhaps I was wrong.

I wasn't born when the man was a Head of State, but reading up on his antecedents convinced me to a higher degree that he can never do better, his track records influenced those thoughts.

The country no good before, now I don't even know what to describe it as.

To be honest I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel for the country. EVER.

APC will rig it in 2023, like they did in 2019. Sadly we are powerless to do anything about it cos our pvc is almost useless, as it is today APC control INEC, Police, Army and all security agencies. Na only God if do him miracle and save us.....

Doc this is a clear case of "the devil you know is better than", majority of Nigerians felt Buhari was the saviour based on his acclaimed integrity. His stance and campaign to kill corruption was good music to the ears, see where we are today. Worse is that we may not be able to remove this devilish party, cos they will end up rigging the election like they did 2019.

I had 3 problems with him then:

1) His age

2) His health

3) it is easier for one man to enforce integrity in a military regime than in a civilian government.

I do tell my friends that Nigeria is not a kingdom whereby just a change of king from bad to good will bring about 80% change of fortunes.
Our system now is so corrupt that even the president nominee they're bringing for us to choose from "na dem dem". The Senate, judiciary, executive and all arms, forms and level of govt(including Governors, LGAs, councillor) is so damn corrupt that it'll be difficult for just a President to facilitate a good turn around. Aside all these grassroots corruption, we can't also deny the fact that those around the president are so worse in corruption and it seems they're always breeding themselves cos they never go out of extinction.

Nigeria problems plenty and no be just change of president fit change am.

Also, I'm not sure even the PDP or APC or any other party will even allow a candidate win Primaries if they know the candidate they're presenting would want to change Nigeria situation for the better, so they(the parties) will just bring our thieves and rogues across the different parties for we the citizens should choose from.
Come 2023, APC might bring out tinubu for president, PDP might bring saraki . We both know both are thieves, but still will be forced to choose from them while deceiving ourselves that our PVC count and "our PVC can liberate us". And the cycle continues

Mehn, no light truly at the end of the tunnel for us gaskiya
