Good afternoon fam! Please I'm here to get some help/information with the UK visit visa... Bear with me this would be a little long.. thanks.

I'm 31, single, no kids. I applied for a UK Visa in 2006, then as a minor but, insufficient fund was the reason for refusal then. My father lives and work in the UK, in his 60s and wants to send me an invite to visit for December, I'd be staying with him during my visit. I'm looking to put in by November, God willing. I'm into film&TV production, I'm also an actor, with a registered business since May, 2017, with a certificate from CAC. I run three different bank accounts, one is the corporate acct for my business, then a salary acct and another for savings. I can't specifically determine how much I make annually as it's not fixed. However, since my father told me he'd be sending an invite, I've started to run my two other accounts. I pay the sum of 240k with the narrative "salary" into one acct, monthly, then transfer 140k out of the 240k, with the narrative "savings," into the other acct, which I'll tender its statement as my "savings" for the trip: I'm looking to having about a million naira in the savings before I tender the statement, by God's grace. Before now, it was just my business account that I use often.

Please, I'd like y'all to guide me on the running of my accts, Am I doing the right thing? Do I just submit my Salary acct and Savings acct 6months bank statement? I don't think they need my business acct bank statement for anything, since two bank accounts already shows salary and savings. Also, I don't pay tax, just electricity bill and DStv. Also, what documents should my father send in support of the letter of invitation he'd be writing? I have no landed property yet. Just some clips of my work, film and TV production. I was in Dubai in June, 2019 with a PTA (personal travel allowance) of $578 which was stamped on my Int'l passport. Thank you fam for the help. Blessings.

@cooldragon, did you later get the transit visa?kindly assist with the process and amount. I read up on their site and saw its free for children 6yrs and below, for adults I saw two prices 60 euros on a page and 80 euros on the other, then a payment at the vfs.
Thank you in advance

What kind of evidence would the embassy require for an unmarried partner visa, if the two partners have not seen themselves or been with themselves before but they met online and there is evidence of shared finances?

depends on how long you take to arrange your documents, fill the visa application form, submit, and pay the visa fee.. then choose biometrics date. From ur biometrics date to visa application been concluded takes an average of 15 working days.
So put into perspective the time you will allot for the processes before biometrics capturing.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cooldragon: 5:04pm On Jun 28, 2021
I did, there is a link on the site that you will send an email to or you go to the vfs office and you will receive email(link) that you will send an email to saying you want to apply for transit visa and they will reply within 24hours and in the reply you will see another link on how to fill the form plus a time and date for you to submit the form and do biometric(if you know that date won't work for you, tell them to shift it)

Whatsapp chat, call logs, email exchange, Facebook chats etc. If they have been in a relationship for 3 years then they should have a lot of digital track. Let them print as much information as they can to show that they have been in constant communication for the said time

So far you paid for your appointment date + assisted service,

Ensure your documents that aren’t in A4 size are made into copies of a4 size

They would help you scan and upload all your documents.

Make sure you get there on time if not, they’d make you pay for flexi appointment which is an additional 42k

Asides that, you’re good

Hello gurus in the house, I need your assistance and the best advice on how to go about this. I am a student in the united kingdom (Undergraduate). I am married with 2 kids and I want to apply Uk visit visa for my wife and kids to visit me by ending of July as my wife will be having her annual leave and the kids will also be on vacation by July end. My wife works with the state government and earns a little amount 30k. she's a graduate but was employed as a clerical officer just to secure a place. This amount isn't enough and cannot be used to secure the visitors' visa. I transferred 200k into her account monthly, 100k from my Corporate and 100k from my savings account respectively. The 100k from my corporate account is her salary as she manages my business while am not around and the 100k from saving is home expenses. She has a total of 780k in her account + plus her fixed deposit 250k = 1million is this amount enough to apply? If not what is the best way to increase this amount. My plan to increase the amount is by asking her parent to deposit 400k or 500k to support her trip or can i transfer some money from my corporate account to support the trip; or submit my corporate bank statement to shows some funds is available to her if needed. I have a brother Who's Uk citizen which i can get some document from him and also myself which will be useful for the application.
The applicant document are:
Employment letter
Marriage Certificate
Kids birth Certificate
6month Bank statement
Leave letter from work
Introduction letter
(Additional document from spouse)
Student Id
Temporary Brp
Student declariation form
House Tenancy agreement

Your advice will and support will be appreciated

Good Evening Fam!,
I have been a silent reader on this platform (had to fish out my long lost password for this post) but I must say that this is one of the best things that could happen to a potential traveller.
The information received here has been most invaluable.
So I applied for my standard visitor visa and I painstakingly went through all the pages on the thread, took time and delayed my application to ensure I don't miss a thing.
Well it paid off and today I received my visa after 2 previous refusals- 2014 and 2018.
I must say that the more I went through the thread, I said to myself "even I would have denied me visa with the manner I filed the previous applications"
Thanks to everyone and I will contribute from time to time to help others just as the contributions of others has helped me.

Timeline

Paid - 9th of June (used a GTB $ card)
9th of June- Uploaded all my documents myself online. I took my time to prevent mistakes and went through my documents painstakingly.
Biometrics- 11th June
Collection mail- 25th June
Picked up passport with Visa - 28th June.

Thank you all.
