Kamnelly1: If you applied via standard it's not been 15 working days yet. You can also track your application to check the status |

Kamnelly1: It's okay to be anxious but a lot of factors determine process time some not even related to the application itself. You still dey within the expected timeframe. |

Hello friends, My UK visa expired in May and I returned back to Nigeria. Now I got a job (3 years contract), to resume early August. My employers have given me every thing needed for the visa application. When completing the visa application, tuberculosis test certificate appeared among the required documents for Nigerians. However, someone said if you've been away from the UK less than 6 months, this is not required for you to re-enter. I would have done it just to be sure, but the available TB test dates on the website are too far and would only make me miss the job. I want to know if anyone has been able to travel and was allowed into the UK without the TB test. Or any other helpful advice. Thanks. |

Hello House, Please I want to invite my mother inlaw (over 70yrs old) for 'omugo' (Child care) for our new baby. Please I need help on the following. 1. Hope I can use my own statement of account since my wife has not started working since we got to UK. (Since I am not her direct son) 2. My mother inlaw doesnt earn income again since she retired a long time ago, is it compulsory she present her bank statement with fund? I will appreciate responses. Thank you. |

I'm about to apply for a student visa, and school starts on the 21st of September, 2021 Is it advised that I pay for priority visa or apply via the standard visa route. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nchabuomo: 6:39pm On Jun 29, 2021 |
Omari88: If you can get an early appointment then pay for standard. I know travel date/ school resumption date is taken into consideration. Good luck |

theLegaltable: Congratulations legaltable ..... Please legaltable are you paying your self monthly income salary from your company account to your personal account ? Also about the tax clearance certificate do you paid base on assessment of your income or they charged you normally without your income assessment? Because the reason why I'm asking this questions is that I have visited 2 different tax office in Lagos and both are charged me normally like paying 10k for 3 years that making 30k. But normally if they wanted to charge me through my monthly income assessment would be × 8 more than that. My worried is that do they verify amount of money the applicant paid on the tax clearance certificate card or only verify the authenticity of the card ? Actually I was told is not compulsory several times on this great forum that it's only show a good citizen. |

Kennstin: I know a friend that applied for fiancé visa, she came bk from UK three months and she quickly applied for fiancé visa without the tuberculosis test. But just to be at a safer side, do the TB. Only what you need to do is to keep calling them, send mail and tell them how urgent it is, they will respond and give you a date immediately. |
