So my question is, will it affect our chances of getting the visa? While filling the visa application form, do we have to clarify why the children are not going with us?

Day 5 is a test to release. You’ll pay extra for that apart from the day 2 & day 8 price.
Also many of the cheap test are sold out. It’s not too early to book if you’ve confirmed travel dates for this month or early next.

Depending on the status of your application...its either an English Call or a Sponsorship Interview, at the discretion of the school.. the earlier is deemed more easier and straightforward by student applicants though...

I got my admission in December 2019 I deferred till this year.

A friend of mine's usa visit visa was withdrawn at chicago port of entry 5years ago and was sent back on the available flight to Nigeria. Can this also be stated as visa refusal or not and will it not affect the chance of getting a uk student visa. Thank you

I was also thinking the same. It seems Abuja is faster than Lagos.

Reason being that they said they could not verify and they are not sure if I have access to the Proof of found I submitted... the issues now is that I cannot find the letter anymore and my school is asking for it before issuing cast please any way out on this..

I’ve been coming across different schools here, but haven’t seen anyone talking of UCLAN! Got a conditional offer from them, hope it’s a good place to study? And also, does deferment of offer have consequences?

You can use your POF, count 28-29 days backwards and print.

I am a January intake that was denied visa in February because my sponsor did not reply to the confirmation email sent to them( God factor). The God factor set in because I thought I can not be denied because I am a state sponsored student but God showed me his existence. Someone from the chief of staff office saw the email from the embassy but decided to look away because she thought the letter is not genuine.

The school decided to issue me a new CAS after a new letter of introduction was issued by the said state government. In all I give God the glory.

I made an application on the 29th of June(priority) but I got an email yesterday saying that my application isn’t straightforward.

I made application with my Two dependents, I have been to the Uk once and also been to Schengen area couple of times.

In my last visa application to the Uk, I didn’t include one of my dependents because as at that time, she wasn’t financially dependent on me as she was staying with her older sister, so I didn’t add her as my dependents and also didn’t travel with her as at that time. I don’t know if this is the reason to why my application is on hold.

Also I have been denied an American visa.
Please can you guys give me any advice on how to follow through.

Another question, when one receives this kind of mail, do they call the person? And how long do I normally need to wait before I get a response considering I paid for priority.

I received the same mail last week Friday and I got my collection mail today. Hoping to see the visa in my passport on Monday.

Please in my teeside mandatory questionnaire, I was asked if I will work in the UK. I indicated that I won't work in the UK. Although I don't know how things will be in the UK, do you think there will be any issues?

Your main aim of coming to the UK is to study, not work so the question is to figure out if your main aim of wanting a student Visa is a means to an end (being able to work in the UK).
If this changes later, it shouldn't be a problem as long as it's within the 20 hours allowed on student visas.

Better not to do this because if it comes up during UKVI checks, it will be assumed that the funds aren't available for your use.

The pof can be in her name or yours. It doesn't matter.
