Please when is there 2nd quarter result coming out, i guess we just starting 3rd quarter

By regulatory standards all coys with unaudited quarterly results are expected to release latest one month after the end of a quarter while audited has two months. Full year audited is three months, so expect all banks like Access, GTBank, etc known for interim dividend payment to release their half year audited results latest 31st August 2021.

Expect them between the last week of August and the 1st week of September. You know they are releasing audited results so it takes more time. Last year, their results came in the first week of September.

Other results that are unaudited should start coming in from next week beginning with the usual suspects UCAP Afriprud ...

So will you advice that one should wait till then before buying theses stocks or it safe to buy now?

If you are a long term person you can buy some and average down if price goes down anytime. To qualify for the dividend you don't have to wait till when result is out once you are a shareholder on or before qualification date as stated by the company you are good to go. For zenith and Gtbank at their current prices and if they pay same dividend as in previous year you will get yield of 12% and 10% respectively.
